Thanks for all the effort that went into making this list and giving us so much to look forward to in 2024. I agree with you about Speak No Evil and a couple others. They are already so good, I'm not sure I want to muddy them up in my mind. We'll see.
Really excited for a new Diablo Cody. I also love folk horror! I love that there’s so many January releases because January is so depressing otherwise. I just wanted to say that I loved watching your channel grow so quickly this year. You are doing an amazing job, really really enjoy your content!
I"m quite frankly TOO excited for Nosferatu...and to a slightly lesser extent, Beetlejuice 2!! I'm going in with super high expectations & that's always dangerous. I'm also jazzed for Alien: Romulus, Return to Silent Hill & Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Thanks for the great updates with your always on point commentary!
Someone already told me that they are gonna eff up RtSH, and I really don't Hage high expectations since I'm a huge fan of the games and I just didnt like much of the movies, but one can hope. Demon Alessa's makeup, in both films, was just too halloweeny.
I'm excited about maxxxine, but also curious about how Ti West will handle the new scenery. That Texas farm with the pond was integral part of the first two movies.
@GhostPirateEntertainment Just what I thought...the poster art reminds me of Angel - " Student by day, hooker by night"... It'll def be on my to-watch list
Okay, now this is disappointing news. There's usually a horror movie that comes out the weekend before Valentine's Day so those of us who don't want to watch romcoms have something to sit through. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen this year.
I'll admit it, when I watched The last Ghostbusters movie, it literally moved me to tears. I hope this next one stands on it's own, and is received well. The one I'm really holding my breath for is Alien: Romulus! The Alien franchise holds a big place in my heart, and it's always a fun, adrenaline trip every time! Great list, thank you for the hard work.
What an amazing list, that was a lot of work, thank you! I'm looking forward to so many on this list, especially Civil War, Return to Silent Hill, A Quiet Place : Day One, Trap (I love M. Night)...who am I kidding, I want to see them all! Especially Nosferatu, lol, and OMG what's The Crow going to be like?? Hopefully they don't ruin s treasured memory like they did with The Craft. I'll stop listing them, but I really am excited for this year! 🖤💥🤘🏾💋
Some great titles there. Getting the whole gang back for Beetlejuice 2 will be something I will look forward to for sure. Same goes for Maxxxine - awesome, really. I loved X and loved Pearl even more so, can't wait for that. Same goes for Eggar's Nosferatu and surprisingly, The Watchers looks interesting too. Some great titles there in your entertaining video
There is just way too many sequels and reboots/remakes for my tastes. The films I'm most interested in seeing are the following: Civil War, Nosferatu and Maxxine. I always stay away from films released/dumped on the public in the months of January, February and August. These tend to be films that the studios deem pretty awful. The only major exception to this was Silence of the Lambs which was a February release. I also concur with you in your opinion about the Religious Possession film. Enough already! 2023 was actually a really good year in Horror. It was the small, independent films that were exceptional. Hopefully 2024 can exceed my initial thoughts on the upcoming film roster. Keep up the great work!✊
I'm really looking forward to Nosferatu, Lisa Frankenstein, and I believe there's a new Alien movie coming out too!😜 Btw, I really dig the filming in black and white in your car, love black and white.
@@GhostPirateEntertainment, okay so I just watched the Abigail trailer and it's looks fantastic. Thanks for mentioning it, I hadn't even heard about it. As always, you're awesome 😎.
Hi, Thanks for the previews of the 2024 horror releases. I do find it disappointing that so many films (all genres included) being released this year are sequels and reboots. Like you Ghost Pirate, my expectation of the American version of 'Speak No Evil' is very low. I'm sure we won't have to wait long for an American version of 'When Evil Lurks'. Thanks
You bring a good point to light, imo.. American exceptionalism (or maybe that’s not quite the correct term here) but the fact that often any movie that’s not in English that gets popular in America needs to be “redone” in English just kinda.. icks me out. Now I’m curious if American and/or English language movies that get popular in other non English speaking countries typically get remade. That feels like such an American thing to do, but maybe I’m mistaken.
@@spa-peggymeatballs4861 I did some research and yes foreign film studios do remake American films. The Godfather and Blood Simple were both remade abroad.
This has nothing to do with the movies on this list but your nails look so phenomenal in this video and it was such a great change up from the black polish you usually wear, I had to try it I get my nails done maybe once a year and I've never done solid white but I had to try it this time cuz it looks so good on you❤🎉
I actually usually get other colors rarely do I do mostly blacks even why they are mostly black at least one nail is a different color. It’s just harder to tell on camera then white is

I'm not a big fan of M. Night Shymalan films. A few of his films start out great, but then there's the M. Night Shymalan twist which in my opinion usually ruins the film. Yes, a story needs to have a good twist, but I don't think M. Night Shymalan knows how to do a good twist, at least one that isn't disappointing. One of my favorite M. Night Shymalan films, at least until the twist, was The Happening. The film starts out great, hooks you into the story and then the twist happens and the whole film just falls right on its ass. I might check out The Watchers, but I can't help but expect probably yet another disappointing twist. I agree with you as far as American remakes. What I hate about American remakes is they like to change things to seem to almost dumb down the original story as if Americans aren't intelligent enough to comprehend things in the original film, I find that insulting.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE "Nosfeartu" I'm such a B&W Silent Movie girl. I tell everyone if they haven't seen it then they need too immediately. I will be front and center for this movie and ALIEN!!!!!!!!!. I still remember going to see "Alien"(1979) with the family not long after we had moved to San Francisco at the theater that used to be behind Stonestown Mall. Just wow!!!!!!
Im so excited for Nosferatu and The Crow.Maybe The Omen .All the reboots though especially the religious ones. Now I love me a good possession or evil nun movie but it would be so great to have something ORIGINAL.The Strangers reboot-WHY? The original is just so good .Why do we need another. Id love to see a great Silent Hill movie because it has so much potential to be as scary as as all get out.Civil War is another Im excited for.THAT looks frightening due to the events of recent years in the US.Great video Kainan. You even made me change my mind about the next Alien film.I wasnt going to see it as the last few have been a disappointment to me but you had some more details that piqued my interest again .
The one movie that I’m not looking forward to is The Crow 🐦⬛ I’m sorry but there are movies out there that should never ever be re-made for whatever reason The Crow to me is epic on it’s own it’s a classic hands down 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 why remake something that’s already gold and Brandon Lee died 😢making it and I do believe that if he would of lived that movie would have been he’s stardom hitting big time but sadly we will never see it 😓 so no that one movie should never be touched
I like watching these cause so far the only 2 horrors that interest me Terrifier 3 and Nosferatu But maybe something here will make me more hyped as so far it seems a grim year for horror
Kit Harrington played in GoT not Christopher Abbott tho they look alot alike and he is a fantastic actor

I subscribed as soon as i saw ya lol i was not disappointed!
First ive heard of a new Alex Garland movie. Couldnt be more excited for that. I even thought Men was incredible
Loved this video. I feel fully in line with your thoughts and predictions!
Guy Pearce chooses great rolls. Not a horror but an horrific character he plays in LAWLESS, recommended. Screen play and score by Nick Cave x
Have you seen Lawless?
Do you know the music of Nick Cave? x
Nice!!,, super stoked for ISS!!!,,,, sci-fi horror is my favorite subgenre of Horror
I hope Return to Silent Hill has the vibe of the 1st movie unlike the sequel
Awesome list!!
Thank you 🙏
Speaking of scary Guy Pierce films.... Seen Brimstone?! Sheeeeesh
Lisa frankenstein reminds me more of Edward scissorhands then beetljuice but I plan on watching it tonight!
Yeah it’s fantastic
I was a bit confused by the use of the theme from Vikings in the Omen trailer
Yeah I found that odd too but it did fit well. So I’m ok with it.
Toxic Avenger??? Also looking forward to The Seeding set in the desert…
Yeah still not word on Toxic so I’m not sure what’s up with it
@@GhostPirateEntertainment thanks for ALWAYS taking the time to reply…✌🏻
I needed this, thank you 👌
The one movie that I’m not looking forward to is The Crow 🐦⬛ I’m sorry but there are movies out there that should never ever be re-made for whatever reason The Crow to me is epic on it’s own it’s a classic hands down 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 why remake something that’s already gold and Brandon Lee died 😢making it and I do believe that if he would of lived that movie would have been he’s stardom hitting big time but sadly we will never see it 😓 so no that one movie should never be touched
ISS looks like it could be good 👍
I like watching these cause so far the only 2 horrors that interest me Terrifier 3 and Nosferatu
But maybe something here will make me more hyped as so far it seems a grim year for horror
I can add Sunrise, Silent Hill,L.S.S, Alien Romulus and Civil war to my list now
Nice! Glad I could help :)
Diablo Cody didn’t direct Juno. Jason Reitman did.
Abbot was not on the Game of Thrones, it was Kit Harrington 😁

Looking forward to a few of these for sure!!!!!!👍😎🎃🐈⬛🍿🎥
