I agree with you 💯% on your opinion of Halloween Ends. I was going to be fine with Corey potentially taking over the reigns of Michael Myers. If they would have followed through with that idea. Instead, he was weirdly killed off by the end of the film. And instead of focusing on Michael Myers, he was barely in the film. And the little screen time that he got he was portrayed as a pathetic, decrepit old man. And I've said it many times before, why is Laurie Strode still important to the story? After the brother/sister angle was erased, she's no longer important to the story. Alison should have gotten the final battle with Michael. Not Laurie!
I've seen people try to use "Well he's an old dude!" As an excuse as to why he was so pathetic but that ship sailed when he survived a burning building and slaughtered a shit ton of firefighters and then went on another killing spree right after in Halloween Kills, not to mention all of the other things in this continuity that he should never have been able to survive. You cannot have a character who has been able to shirk off things that would kill even a younger, more in shape man several times over like it was nothing only to then use the excuse of "Lol, what do you expect from a geezer, of course he's weak and frail." Fuuuuuuuck that.
I think you should do more “worst movie” lists. You had me laughing my ass off with the commentary. Totally entertained. Good thing I haven’t seen any of these movies and don’t plan on it.
You are a movie lover - you love more of the same movies than I ever will. So when you say “these ten movies pretty much suck” dude I absolutely totally believe you. Thanks for being a good filter. Your positive rundowns are excellent - but when you do some well earned takedowns (yes the one on Jeepers Creepers) you are next level entertaining! Credit!
A fine list. I didn't even know there was a Jeepers Creepers sequel until about 6 weeks ago, when all these "10 worst" lists started to come out. It's made all of them. I got through 20 minutes of Umma. You're right...as boring as ashes. A half hour of The Invitation. I saw the trailer. Never heard of The Mean One, thank god. You do us a great service, watching all this shit. I will keep you in my prayers.
Second time I’ve seen Studio 666 on a worst list. I honestly really enjoyed this movie and I’m not even a Foo Fighter fan, but the gore was stellar. The acting from the bad was subpar because none of them are actors, but I loved the horror homages in the movie personally.
@@GhostPirateEntertainment totally get it! It’s got the hallmark of horror tropes and it’s nothing new. It was just one of those turn your brain off horror movies for me and I’m pretty fatigued on all the elevated horror we keep getting haha I’m all about 80’s era of horror, I love slashers and I also love the 50’s and 60’s era. So it was a nice change of pace. However I love your videos and your energy! I found you recently. Then started binge watching. Keep killing it!
This may be my favorite video you've done I'm dying 😂. TCM was the only movie I can remember where 20 minutes in I'm hoping the main characters die in the most horrific ways imaginable. Also so glad to see that POS Jurassic World on the list.
Awful parenting 😊 that was the worst in the trilogy. Otherwise good job getting him started on Horror early. I started watching them as a kid and I’m a moderately adjusted adult. My son is 6 and got started on horror movies early. Sweet kid, good sense of humor, and smart. So good for you. ❤
I think the biggest thing with the invitation is the end. I would have liked to have seen her decide to stay a vampire and live forever. I think that would have helped the movie overall if she had actually done a 180 character wise. It was well filmed and well edited. And I enjoyed the story even though I didn't see the trailer thankfully but you're not wrong about it being predictable.
Another stellar job, sir! I've not seen all of these movies but the ones I did... I'd forgotten that I'd even seen them. That doesn't make me want to ever see them again.

I liked the bus scene in chainsaw massacre..but was so disappointment in the jeepers creepers reborn movie was the worst one out of the series and halloween ends was a shocker for me
Very entertaining stuff, Jeepers Creepers really is universally voted THE worst, and I quite agree, though I thought you were a bit harsh on TCM, I really liked it and the Bus scene is awesome!
Ok I agree with but two 🤣🤣 but that is what makes it fun right 👍 jeeper creeper is my favorite horror movie aswell and I was sooo excited for the new one 😭😭 but it was so horrible! I shared in my group ❤️🍿
It's been several months since I saw Halloween and I can hardly remember anything about it because it was so forgettable but - I remember thinking, what's the point of having a Halloween movie with hardly any Michael Meyers and when they show him he needs a mobility scooter and assistance dog? Where's the dread, where's the menace? I was expecting a handivan to stop by and take him back to the care home for bingo night.
" Making him out to be this pathetic old man" 🤣🤣🤣 I love the thoughts on your movies homie but Halloween would've been my worst for all the reasons you said... after this video you have one more follower👍
😆😆😆 tell us how you really feel!! I love how you describe your dislike of Jurassic World & were vibrating over Jeepers Creepers & not in a good way.. 😉. THANK YOU for putting The Invitation on this list- I thought it was just me who considered it a bore
You are completely correct with this list!!! Have you seen the old movie Evil Speak? What am I saying? Of course, you have seen it lol...I would love to hear your take on this film!
I enjoyed the Texas chainsaw massacre. Its just a well made sequel. Not a revamp or remake. It's like my movie ' the shinning' not a remake or heavy over thought remake of the shining. Some movies you don't have to like the characters, especially in cheesey horror movies. Just have enough budget to get the point across. Definitely agree with you about ' Firestarter ' I couldn't even finish this one. 😜
The problem with the new "Texas Chainsaw" movie was the simple fact that they never illustrated that: THEY WANT TO EAT YOU I mean, the fuck? That was why this whole series was scary. They want to eat you. That's why this is scary. I could direct an entire sequel to this and it would be better than this.
I hated all of these too ESPECIALLY Jeepers Creepers!!! The original is one of my favorite movies ever made and so when I heard there was yet another one coming out I was instantly worried. But I was not prepared for how ANGRY this movie made me. I hated everything about it. I cannot think of one single redeeming thing about that movie. Grrrrrr, makes me mad just thinking about it lol!

We were on the edge of our seats through whole movie. Dont want to spoil anything if someone is binge watching your videos like I am but that was a rare treat of a horror movie. Thanks for these lists man, keep up the good work 🙏🏼 as for this list, yeah the new chainsaw massacre movie was pretty bad
I've only watched a couple of these movies but we differ in opinion on Studio 666. It has one of my favorite kills ever (the bedroom scene with the chainsaw). I love how your horror channel community can agree to disagree and not be jerks. Nice!
Thank you for saying that! It’s so important to me that we all can talk and have fun with it and not be toxic if we disagree! I did have fun with Studio 666 like I did say it was entertaining!
Biggest let down was Halloween Ends. How do you have such a promising start with Halloween 2018 then just completely drop the ball with the sequels? I honestly did not think Halloween Kills was that bad but Halloween Ends was just a head shaking disappointment. Halloween 2018 had the perfect ending of the Michael Meyers story.
Halloween ends like broke my heart. No Michael myers but 10 minutes. Instead we get some random bullied kid turned killer. Halloween is sentimental too me from my dad. Loved the remake and kills was okay but ends just ruined it all.
I have to say I love Halloween Ends, it was better than Halloween Kills and better than the other crap Halloween movies that came before it, except from the original Halloween as that movie is the best.
I'm going to agree with you there. Halloween Ends wasn't great at all but was absolutely better than Halloween Kills - that one was the worst in the series overall, imo. Cameos for no reason other than fan service and to only kill them off for... reasons? Waste of time. At least with ...Ends I'm curious to see where they'll take it next.
Hey Kainan, I love your ripping on these movies. I'm sort of new to your channel and was used to you finding all the positives in even some so-so movie. I was literally laughing my ass off with your takes on these cash grabbers. I couldn't agree with you more on Halloween Ends. I mean WTF. I did kind of liked Studio 666 and Prey for the Devil. I didn't know anything about the Jeepers Creepers director. I googled it and you're right, he is a piece of shit. That was such a great movie. All the other ones were crap. I remember seeing a preview of the third one as having Gina Phillips and her going after the Creeper. I rented the movie and wasn't anything like that. Do you remember this or am I having a mandella moment?
Please do more worst movies review out there because it made me laugh and yeah and i watch movies' before that was so crap i could not find a review on it , you do it amazingly because it is time we separate the good ones from the bad ones before we watch too much crap then actually good sometimes underrated well-done films that need more attention out there . In my country we have this music deo that started there own independent "horror fest" and they have there own TH-cam channel as well under the same name ''The Horror Fest" , that reviews popular movies and review upcoming new young directors, then ones a year they have this horror fest with there own classic movie theatre to showcase these movies and nominate them .
I love Dave Groehl and will watch the Studio 666 film, but sad to hear it wasn’t great or all that engaging. I’d never heard of it, but I immediately felt it sounded like a Scooby Doo episode, with Shaggy saying “oh shit scooby, it’s the Foo Fighters” like when they would have the Globe Trotters show up
Moonfall was the absolute worst movie I saw last year, and the worst I've seen in a long time. After it ended, several guys in the row in front of us to our left stood up, sarcastically clapped, and one of them yelled, "Man, FUCK this movie!" That experience alone made sitting through the movie totally worth it, because I'm sitting there the entire time thinking, "Man, FUCK this movie!" and someone literally yelled it out loud at the end. I laughed for a good five minutes.
Moon fall was awful but not horror or it would have made this list but also not nearly as bad as Jeepers Creepers Reborn like not even close to as bad 😂
In the next Halloween, I think they should show a show of the entrails from the meat grinder crawling slowly toward each other and forming a new Micheal (a bit like a rip-off of the liquid nitrogen scene in Terminator 2). I know it's a shit idea but it's a far better idea than any of the ones they had for Halloween Ends lol
Think you kinda missed the point of Halloween Ends, but it's not your fault, they didn't really nareatite it well. The whole movie, or more specifically trilogy was about Michael Myers being an actual boogeyman and how legend of his came about. His "curse" spreads and starts to infect Haddonfield, and he lives underground like the thing that comes at night to scare children. When Corey steals his mask, he loses all of his powers and curse briefly transfers to him, and because Laurie doesn't belive in him being the boogeyman, he loses his powers and dies. Then Michael shows once again to take over once again, and becomes boogeyman AFTER he gets hos mask back. They emphasised this at the wnd of Halloween Kills, because he briefly loses his power due to mob being franzied and no longer afraid, but as soon as they start being afraid once again, he regains his powers and wipes them all out. Both Kills and Ends were more of a meta film and commentary on entire series (no matter what they do, they always return to Michael, because he cannot be replaced) then people give it credit.
I agree and well said. I just think it was very poorly executed. It’s not that I don’t like what they were trying to do just that they write dialogue very poorly and fumbled multiple elements through out the series, like the awful character of new Loomis
@@GhostPirateEntertainment Yeah, much like you I didn't like it at first, thought the whole Cory stuff was going nowhere, but after looking at it as the whole trilogy, I could get the bigger picture of what they were trying to do. It's at least somewhat bit fresh take on MM, unlike let's say F13th remake where they just basically made yet another sequel with bigger budget. Also, I appreciate the videos.
1. TCM- omfg... even the chainsaw dance was crap. they did sally dirty as hell too. 2. FS- ... KILL IT WITH FIRE BEFORE IT BREEDS A PART 2! 3. Studio 666- awe i loved the dumpster fire lol but for as movies go it is a nope. 4. Halloween Ends- couldn't agree more. the poor horse is dust and blowing away. 5. Prey for the devil- This made me lose faith in humanity 6. The Invitation- you can legit watch the trailers and you've watched the movie nj 7. Umma- huge let down! watch trailers = movie and its so predicable it hurts 8. JWD- WHY JEFF WHY!!! 9. The mean one is so bad it could be used as torture. 10. JCR- its a joke and not a good one. boring basic bitch movie
Pray for the devil is a metaphor of becoming pregnant outside of wedlock in a highly religious family and the giving her child up for adoption. She is trying to find redemption and peace through saving and exercising her child She gave up for adoption. It is the unknowing of what Will happen with the child plus the gult and shame of ”abandoning” her daughter.
I sure every horror fan is completely with you at being so disappointed the Jeepers Creepers reboot was horrible! It had so much potential and the first two movies were great that 3rd movie was also disappointing....like who the hell thought giving the creepers truck sentientce was a good idea HUGE EYE ROLL SMH
Omg I completely forgot about the Monkeys!! I loved them , I watched the show all the time when I was probably around the age of 6.... Foo Fighters tho is a pass for me no thanks, however i love Nirvana 💗
I got the impression the writers of Texas Chainsaw Massacre were mocking woke hipster types with characters that were caricatures of them, rather than attempting to portray them in a sympathetic manner.
Yes they definitely were which is what I did find entertaining but I still just don’t thing it was a great movie. If the family was in it and they didn’t do the whole bringing back Sally non sense it would have been much better and wouldn’t have been on this list. But I didn’t hate it at all like a lot of people
Pray For The Devil was my most disappointing movie of 2022, I was bored all the way through. The Invitation though? I loved that one! I thought it was an interesting take on Dracula.
Lmao I have to comment about the Invitation. I deeply hate romances especially contrived chic flicks. Your description that it’s a romance with vampy horror shoved in would explain why I can’t finish it. Beyond bored at the cookie cutter trope. I couldn’t stomach it to it long enough to get to the horror!
Great list! I felt like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was kind of a wink. They gathered the most obnoxious stereotypes of our time in one place and killed them while they were acting out their stereotypes. I did a lot of laughing! I kind of liked The Invitation because I vibed with the lead for a number of reasons, but I can't blame anyone else for not liking it because "formulaic" is a mild word for it! I didn't see any of the rest, and will avoid them like the plague, thank you!
I watched the newest Chainsaw with very low expectations and liked it more than I expected. (Mini spoiler) As far as the school shooting theme, I thought it was kinda interesting how she semi-befriends a man apparently very different from her culturally, and tries to use the weapon she fears to defeat Leatherface. I wish the guy had taught her more about how to use it, and she does to almost save herself and a friend until a piece of bad luck turns the tables back in L's favor. Instead, she drops the ball. The shadowy federal agency you mentioned is the ATF -- Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firestarters.

Thanks for these lists man, keep up the good work 🙏🏼 as for this list, yeah the new chainsaw massacre movie was pretty bad
Thank you so much for this list! Ya nailed 'em!✌😋🚬
I’m with you 💯 it’s so so frustrating!!!
I adore your passion for movies, and a great ROAST of these p.o.s.. 😂
Thank you 😊
Halloween ends like broke my heart.
And that’s ok :) I have no problem with people disagreeing with me just my opinion thanks for being honest!
Pray for the devil review is disappointing 😞 I felt the same as you with the anticipation around the movies potential, only to be let down ☹️ bummer!

Yeah 666 was fun just not technically a good movie if that makes sense
My guy wears an eye patch and sweet sunglasses 🕶️
Dig your channel, it sucks that Mean One was such trash, I feel like there was so much to work with.
I agree it had so much potential and they completely wasted it. Such a shame
💯 %%%% on Texas Chainsaw! I said the exact same thing, I cared about NONE of them. The best one was the chick who played dead in the truck
No way Prey for the Devil isn't 100% a slapstick comedy! 🤣🤣
Lol I know right 😂
I love Dave Groehl and will watch the Studio 666 film, but sad to hear it wasn’t great or all that engaging. I’d never heard of it, but I immediately felt it sounded like a Scooby Doo episode, with Shaggy saying “oh shit scooby, it’s the Foo Fighters” like when they would have the Globe Trotters show up
It was stupid fun. Just not a great horror movie that’s all
Seen all of these and can confirm you are 100% correct. However I didn't find any of them entertaining. 😂
Lol I’m being kind 😂
I thought that Grinch movie was just some parody sketch.
100% !! Jeepers Creepers Reborn was really bad.
I'm not surprised by any of these. Especially Jurassic Park. That movie was like a bad television show.
I’d watch that! I’d love to see a full supernatural Myers at this point
They tried to re-invent the Sawyer family , if it ain't broke don't fix it . ( Tcm )
Yeah I agree!!
Give "The Ghosts of Monday" a spin.
You'll be glad it's only 70 plus minutes.
Halloween Ends was a total cash grab. They didn't even try to make a good ending.
Firestarter and Halloween ends were almost as bad as jeepers creeper 4.
Both are definitely up there for sure
5. Prey for the devil- This made me lose faith in humanity
6. The Invitation- you can legit watch the trailers and you've watched the movie nj
7. Umma- huge let down! watch trailers = movie and its so predicable it hurts
Like I said it had potential. But was a mess of a movie. I’m glad you appreciated it, I agree that’s a strong premise
But I didn’t hate it at all like a lot of people
@@GhostPirateEntertainment bringing Sally back definitely felt like a huuuuuge stretch, really contrived.
couldn't agree more concerning Halloween Ends...so sad to feel that way too...where was Lindsey???!!!
seriously though, the characters deserved more
FREAKS was a better remake of firestarter. And studio 666 was a crappy stab at remaking deathgasm, which was f***ing awesome.
Texas chainsaw was mindless entertainment, better than most of the movies you mentioned lol
Definitely! It was bad but I had fun with it!
Pray For The Devil was my most disappointing movie of 2022, I was bored all the way through.
The Invitation though? I loved that one! I thought it was an interesting take on Dracula.
23:18
You just described my ex to a T, haha. I still bust out laughing every time I hear, "Fuck you that's still shit! "😅
Yeah it’s really a sad attempt at horror
Love seeing you rage haha 😈
Thank you lol
Yeah I did enjoy Texas ChaInsaw Massacre but I still thought it was kinda bad lol
I totally agree with Umma being terrible. I didn’t even finish watching it.
I almost didn’t myself. I really had to push myself to finish
