As a truck driver, I was the same way my first time. If you buy enough fuel, showers are free (50 gal normally). All truck stops have rewards programs, and through fuel purchases most stock up a lot if free showers. That's diesel, though. Anyway, I have given showers away to anyone that wanted one. Sapp Bros Truck stops have the best showers. I'll bring you into the inner circle: The Sapp Bros in Fremont, NE has one shower that is a deep tub instead, I believe #2. You'll feel like one of the Illuminati soaking in it after a long day...;-) Great video, looking forward to more!

Cool to see you traveling again. Watching from Switzerland I must admit that I was a little disappointed after your announcement not to continue as before. But the Van looks great, and I'm looking forward to see your new adventures.
Heather I think you are the winner out of this not getting wet and if you had trailered the bike you could have had spare gas and tires for the bike and van cause the average wait time in The USA and Canada for a blowout or flat tire for a mobile tire service or tow company is busy is between 1.5 to 2 hours or longer and for giggles take the van to a CAT scale to see if you have the weight distributed properly

Pay for your fuel swiped your card get free showers.

The I 80 Truck Stop is 15 minutes from my house! My next-door neighbor works in one of the restaurants there! If you're ever in this area again and need anything give me a call!

They receive them for filling up their trucks, and many do not use them. Also, did you build a shower in the van? I know you had a great trip. Ride and Van Safe.

I’d have to go through the videos because I don’t remember where we stopped either 😂 we usually take highway 2 up to alliance and then north. We did a little different route last year because we had @HerTwoWheels with us and I wanted her to get the full Nebraska experience. Feedlot smells and all! 😁
I remember when that show room was being built. The red freightliner the yellow Pete and the blue kenworth being in the show room was a big thing then.

You know I like to pass too...but the reason I pass isnt to be faster(well most of the time anyways), I just want to see whats ahead on the road better....I drive a Class C rv when vacationing and I totally get the bridge stuff and narrow lanes but you will get better at it...still makes you grip the wheel extra tight sometimes though...lol...FUN TIMES!
