What a fantastic production, very well presented and emotional tribute to a part of our tremendous history. Well done City a modern forward thinking club that remembers our history 👏👏
Very very cool. The greatest goal I've ever seen went back to City in the early 70's. I was a young Aussie watching the Big Match late on a Monday night with Brian Moore religiously. Always had to wait for the tape to arrive from the UK. I do not remember who City were playing, but I remember that City were coming out of defence. Dennis Tueart started the ball moving forward from the middle, three passes later in one flowing movement down the right with Dennis running straight up the field he hit a volley from that third pass/cross from outside the box into the back of the net. Direct passes, no dribbles, one end of the field to the other with the ultimate result. It would've been around 5-6 seconds from Dennis's first pass to the back of the net. Pass, pass, pass, bang, goal. One end of the field to the other. Teamwork at it's finest. Go City.
Absolutely brilliant and very emotional tribute to 3 great players and 3 great men. They built a beautiful story and gave their all to the club we all love and support. No bitter rival fan will diminish this clubs achievements past and present. A proper football club with a very tight bond between the fans and the players. Its one big family.Wouldn't have expected anything less from this amazing club, to give these players the prize they deserve. RIP Collin Bell, RIP Francis Lee. And long may Mike SummerBee live. This is our City 💙💙💙
One of my favourite City moments was meeting Colin Bell when we played Hamburg at home in the Uefa Cup Quarterfinal. He signed the inflatable bananas my wife and I had with us and spend a few minutes talking to us. Such a Legend.
Sitting here in tears watching this, all over a statue. But the truth is it’s about so much more... our heroes, our club, our history, our triumphs, our emotions, our love for City, our thanks for Colin, Francis and Mike.
Genuinely one of the best productions you have made to date. Emotive, informative & a must-watch for City fans old, young & new. The history of our football club is often disrespectfully dismissed & unknown to outsiders, so it gives me immense pride to see the club are aware of it and paying due respect to those who made Manchester City the club we’ve loved for generations, such as in my family.
& whilst here delighted to see the likes of Oakes, Corrigan, Book, Young et al from that era also remembered. Let’s also remember the likes of Eric Brook, Peter Doherty, Bert Trautmann/Frank Swift & many of the other greats who have represented this great club.
They don’t make them like they use to. I was too young to understand their contribution to city. This fantastic tribute now put this into perspective. This should be use to glorify the hero’s they were for our club.😢
Three of the most unassuming humble players the world ever produced. They were at our club and are some of the most iconic parts of our history. Huge props to everyone in the process and if anything it proves how much Khaldoon wants things done the right way.
A wonderful tribute to three of the best players to grace English football and Manchester City. I never knew them personally, but that was an emotional watch for me. I can't wait to be there and see the statues in place.
This is my era of football. I am from Northampton and the kids supported Man U, Leeds, and Liverpool.. I just fell in love with Man City because of these guys, and I always will.. This is a great production, and It brought a tear to my eye.. Thank you
when people talk about legends of the game these 3 are definitely up there. So under appreciated by other rival fans and even some of our own. Young fans should deffo learn about the trio and how much they contributed towards our history. NEVER FORGOTTEN. MIKE, FRANCIS, COLLIN.
the past is our future.we salute you bell,lee,buzz..and i was so proud to have sat in colins office at the bell waldron when i was 10 whilst he signed autographs and chatted all things city
Thanks to everyone involved for creating this documentary. It captures not just the making of the statue, but the making of these legends and the history of the club. I didn’t know a lot about these players truth be told, so it’s fascinating to learn about our accolades of the past.
Fantastic to see a documentary made about this clubs much overlooked history. Yes there are plastic fans who only follow the team due to recent success but i get fed up with morons who say clubs like man city have no history. They were a fabulous team in the 60s and early 70s. I say this as somebody who doesnt support any club.
Excellent very emotional great players fantastic club then . Great side and I’m not a fan but respect great players. Great time in England 🏴 then .
Imagine they did a similar statue of kompany aguero and Silva together to mark the new generation of legends that paved the way. And them have KDB, Gundo, and possibly Foden by the end of his career at City

United on top
Oh my, brought me to tears several times the greats of my era growing up ,and now we’ve captured it all again with our present players
Come on City

It sounds like the away match at Leicester City. I went and was really ill and needed treatment by an ambulance crew.
@@robfielding100 great goal, but for me the andy hinchcliffe goal in the 5-1 just tops it

That team played like Brazil. I was so lucky to watch them in their prime.

@8;49 Mike Summerbee says "not bad" NOT BAD?? You were bloody brilliant. Mike Summerbe is STILL my all time favourite player.
