This all bothered her and made her upset but people still did it anyways that some of these people even rejoiced when she blocked them (twitter culture stuff)

The way they show their spirituality and promote the message behind it is beyond what words could express, it's something you could feel - it's about being one with nature, enjoying life, loving others, feeling gratitude for what you have and being confident in your self while staying humble. Of course, people are complex and I don’t know them but based on this situation I'm left with the impression that they are good women, trying to keep their hearts pure and their souls filled with love while navigating this scary, confusing world of ours. A good example of evolving your values and updating your moral compass to lead you through a world where both love and hate are rapidly progressing and the line between light and darkness has never been as blurry... These are real Christians. People with warmth, understanding, and love in their hearts. Not those who have nothing but hate and anger in their hearts that peddle their own ideas about politics and human rights through religion.
These people being influencers probably knew what the best way to handle this was. If this was some random woman who uploaded the image to show her friends who had no idea about how this kinda stuff goes down, well this story could have ended up a lot less wholesome.
When I was in my teens, this style was considered like the basic Tumblr girl and was often grouped up with the same girls who wear the velvet track suits, UGGs, and 'white girl bun'. Nothing really to do with Christianity and more on the emphasis of how b*tchy and stuck up these kinds of girls would be (That was the stereotype anyway). Its funny how memes and stuff like this on the internet kind of evolves over time 😂

I obviously agree that these girls did nothing wrong... but I also kind of understand why people wanted to clarify their beliefs on certain things. I'm not saying it is or isn't right, but as a queer person, personal history makes it difficult not to be wary of strong Christian vibes. It's really hard to explain, but anyway, I know it's obviously not right to jump to negative assumptions about people. There's certain groups of people that anecdotally seem more likely to be homophobic than others, but that doesn't make it ok to judg any individual without actually knowing anything about the content of their character.

Like they were essentially confronted with all these negative stereotypes (and I've seen much worse tweets directed at them as well), and they couldn't really do anything about it except... be nice? Like I am assuming they are actually that nice (definitely!) but what if they had actually taken offence with the posts (I'm sure they have privately, it's not nice to be assumed to be a bigot) but they couldn't really say that, could they? They would have been made even more fun of, confirming the "i want to speak to the manager" stereotype. Again, in a scenario where they are the exact same nice, open-minded women and everything was the same except if they had said they didn't like the meme (which is in their right to say!), they probably would have been labeled as conservative once again (even if that wasn't the case at all). They got the internet version of beaten down and punched and essentially had no choice but to turn the other cheek...
It is definitely a nice story in the end and I love that they're good friends with the creator of the meme (and the creator definitely isn't at fault either!) but the people who said the kinds of things like "this picture said the n word at thanksgiving" had no right to say that tbh

When I was in my teens, this style was considered like the basic Tumblr girl and was often grouped up with the same girls who wear the velvet track suits, UGGs, and 'white girl bun'. Nothing really to do with Christianity and more on the emphasis of how b*tchy and stuck up these kinds of girls would be (That was the stereotype anyway). Its funny how memes and stuff like this on the internet kind of evolves over time 😂

I obviously agree that these girls did nothing wrong... but I also kind of understand why people wanted to clarify their beliefs on certain things. I'm not saying it is or isn't right, but as a queer person, personal history makes it difficult not to be wary of strong Christian vibes. It's really hard to explain, but anyway, I know it's obviously not right to jump to negative assumptions about people. There's certain groups of people that anecdotally seem more likely to be homophobic than others, but that doesn't make it ok to judg any individual without actually knowing anything about the content of their character.
Would you want other religions to also clarify their beleif?
