I did lots of research and price comparison and then bought a Sboly about a month ago from Amazon. I have no complaints except one: I did not get the travel cup. Otherwise, I have used both K-Cups for coffee and tea (I agree with you about the aroma of the brew as it fills the cup!) and have also used ground coffee and tea leaves (make sure you use the basket and do not fill past the MAX line), and all of it has turned out fine. Thanks for the review! P.S. It is also very easy to clean!

@@judy1104 Yeah, that is no biggie. I actually used my regular coffee/tea mug and then found a great 16 oz. travel cup that is equal to or better than the Sboly travel cup, I imagine. The main thing is I am very happy with the Sboly coffee/tea maker and am recommending it to everyone I know!

Mine just came in this afternoon from Amazon.com. And I really like the taste of the coffee it was piping hot when I first tasted it. I also like the fact that it’s not big and bulky and take up a lot of counterspace as I am a senior and I live in a studio apartment and it fits perfectly. I wish it only came with a cup of course I don’t have a travel cup but I wish that it came with one. But then again I can always go to Amazon and order one thank you for your informative review.

It's one of the few appliances I have he isn't afraid to use. :). Sboli offers a few different models and variations. Some include a coffee mug and some don't. We use our usual coffee mugs anyway. You just need to adjust the amount of water used to the ounces your coffee mug will hold.
Who the heck are you calling an old lady?? I can easily say that I have more tech in my little finger than many have in their entire existence. My experience in tech of all venues includes over 50 years and I keep up with current technology of all kinds. Can you compete with this? I didn't think so. This is one old lady you don't want to mess with. To be honest, I wouldn't call a coffeemaker any kind of tech. Maybe you have a problem in understanding the definition of tech.

Mine was a hunk of junk. Worked a couple of times and quit. I do not recommend. As with most things manufactured these days, it was a nice idea but was poorly executed.
If you use the k-pods, there is really no clean-up at all other than possibly rinsing out the receptor for the k-pod. Now and then, you may have to run a vinegar solution through it if you have hard water to remove mineral deposits.
I bought the one that comes with a grinder. I should have bought the one with the cup. I bought a couple of cups seperately. I really like this machine. Which K cups do u like best? What flavors? 🙂 Thank you for making this video.
We have bought k-cups from Amazon and from Sam's Club. The ones from Amazon were a lot more expensive. Really, it would be hard to choose which flavor we like best as we have liked them all - not only the flavors, but I could just sit and smell them and be happy. My husband and I both love this coffee maker and all of the flavors we have tried. We usually have these coffees after dinner for a special relaxing treat. On thing I really like is that my husband suggests making the coffee and actually makes it for us. He is afraid to use any of my other appliances. Love it!
@@judy1104, I just recently started drinking coffee. My husband doesn't drink it, so it's the perfect size for me. We don't have a car, so we usually have to order from Amazon. I tried the donut shop medium roast flavor. I liked that one. I've tried about 6 k cups. I like 8 O'clock coffee as I've had it b4 and may get some soon. This machine is fun! 🙂 You know what might be good, a video on what parts to clean and how you clean them.

I took the reservoir basket out to wash it before use and didn’t pay attention to how it goes back it and there aren’t any notes in the purchase manual. Does the little screen set on the left or the right.?

Hi Wayne, I have not yet tried ground coffee as we have a coffee maker that we keep a pot of regular coffee going all the time. So far, we have used only the pods for the specialty coffees when we want something a little different. Although this coffee maker comes with a filter that can be used for grounds, my past experience with similar filters is that they don't filter out all of the grounds. So, you may get some grounds in your coffee.
We have been using this coffee maker for well over a year, and have been happy with it. It makes only one cup at a time for large cups or two for smaller cups. I have never had a Kurieg, but I am happy with this one.
After making a cup of coffee the 2 lights on the side - capsule & grounds remain flashing - are they suppose to remain on flashing or should we unplug until next time ?
I bought this about a month ago - the water level indicator ( the blue plastic piece) seem confusing - do I have to keep putting water in until at least the lowest 6oz mark stay filled with water? I feel like I am putting in a similar amount of water each time but sometimes a lot of coffee comes out while other times less than half a cup gets made....
Before you turn it on, you put in the amount of water for the amount of coffee you want and also put in the coffee. Since the coffee grounds absorb some of the water, it's a good idea to add a little more water than you want for coffee. Then turn on the coffee maker. Doing it this way, you should be adding about the same amount of water every time.
Judy Leach thank you - when I first got it it would make a cup of coffee almost instantly - now I put the water and coffee grounds in and the blue button just flashes while nothing comes out for at least a few minutes - what gives?
@@filename8687 This sounds like a question for customer service. You unit may be defective. If you bought it less than a month ago, you should be able to return it for a replacement or refund. If it is over a month ago, the company should replace it for you.

It's better than the mainstays single serve coffee maker, it doesn't have a cover to keep the top from getting dirty

Since we have a regular coffee maker, we use our Sboly only with k-cups. If yours doesn't work, it may be defective.

I don't think it would be a good idea to use anything but water in this machine. Skim milk would most likely gunk up the insides of it.

When the front of the coffee maker is toward you, the screen on the reservoir basket is to the right. Hope this helps.

We never unplug ours and have not noticed any lights that continue to flash. I would ask the manufacturer about this.

Do you know the dimensions that are compatible with such coffee maker?
The dimensions are roughly 12" high by 5" wide by 7" deep. Hope this answers your question.
