A windy day and boats don’t get on well together.

- Ello! Welcome back and it was another great but cold day filming. The broads are getting busier each week and it’s great to see. I did film some boats struggling with the wind but it’s just how it is with the weather and no malice intended. Apologies for the wind noise, even my sponge on mic hack struggled to cope. But I hope you enjoy today’s video. Apologies for the shake on the camera the wind was very strong.

wow , that was a windy day brrrr , it certainly makes it hard to get off the moorings when it's like that , sometimes you feel like you're never going to get off , hope you've warmed up now lol .
Yes it was pretty bad, time for a new microphone cover. Yes I’ve warmed up now, let’s hope those on the boats have moored up safely but I’ve just been out with Mills and the wind has dropped thankfully
It amazes me that boats come to moor with no one on deck. To get off a Lee shore it’s best to go off backwards as you have more control and power available than a bow thruster.
Can always use backsprings or forward springs to get away when the wind is on too. People driving off dragging the stern along isnt helping😅
Did you pack your thermals away already? It was getting warmer but the last two days have gotten colder. You can tell how windy it as the trees are all over the place. Glad the water station has now been sorted out. It looked terrible just hanging there! I do sometimes wonder if the people who hire the larger boats wish they had gone for something smaller so they could get under the bridge easier. Glad you had lots of boats to film this week. Glad the lady is alright. My friend, who is currently sailing in the Caribbean (lucky girl) was at Portsmouth marina and she jumped off their yacht and broke her leg. Whilst she was in hospital recovering with a broken knee, she also got Covid. This is why people should disembark correctly. Anyway, great video as always, take care.

Good morning Jonny, thank you for another, very windy, video. It’s 7:45am here on Monday morning and 15 degrees going to 31 degrees Celsius. You mentioned in a comment that it was snowing. That reminded me of my ex wife’s 21st birthday in 1979. It was around 20 March and we left London for Shillingford Bridge Hotel near Oxford, it was snowing the whole way and quite a lot of the weekend. We loved it! Good morning. It’s been a cold weekend, it hailed and snowed yesterday. Thankfully it stayed dry today albeit being windy! 1979! That’s when we had proper weather! All the best bud!
@@jonnytreehouse yes. We lived in Swiss Cottage. One night coming home from work I found a snowman on a wall next to our flat, my then wife made it for me. We had quite a lot of snow that year. It was our first cold Christmas.
