I feel after Will left SNL the show has been on a decline. I know many will disagree with me and that's ok. When I see them read out their lines in most sketches after Will, I stopped paying attention....I feel there is a disconnect.
@Alex yeah I get it. I’m such a fan of the days when it was will, Cheri oteri, Chris kattan etc. that it’s such a hard act to follow to make me fall in love like that
@DOE John I'm old enough to have watched the first SNL shows as a teenager, when it was actually funny. Maybe I'm too old to "get" today's "comedians", but this Ferrell guy is about as funny as a burst appendix.
Lmao, that first skit was hilarious; I’ve never seen that one before lol I guess just another classic Will Ferrell . I know there’s probably about 1000 more I’ve never seen as well. He’s done so much work over the years. He seems to be an extremely hard worker and he deserves all the success he’s had from working so hard and taking his comedy so serious, and yet still able to have a blast creating it. 💯!
SNL has always been and continues to be excellent , from brilliant writers, actors and other talent. They have had pointless, awkward and incomplete skits, but I think the majority of the shows have merit and it's been around forever. SNL began when I was 19 in 1975. Watched it off and on since it's inception, with internet I'm catching up on the one's I'd missed.
Wow, an actual nice comment coming from someone who was around when SNL first started. I’ve seen many older folks say how the show has apparently declined since their favorite cast members have left, but it always comes off as bias. I haven’t watched SNL for too long, but from what I’ve seen, it seems like each generation has some great and some bad moments.
The talent on the show now is as good as ever... Beck Bennet, Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Kyle, Keenan, Aidy Bryant... huge talents, all of them. And the women on SNL going back to Vanessa Bayer and Kristen Wiig are stronger than any group they’ve had since the first group in the 70s.
The commercial with the bear in the store is perfect. We live in South Lake Tahoe and bears break into cars and homes on a regular basis but one bear loves Safeway and has walked right through the automatic doors twice.
That's over eight years ago and it still seems so fresh each time I watch it. Will Ferrell had a cold during this episode but being the trouper he is he aced his characterizations.
I first saw Will and his hillious Best Friend/fellow Actor In Telladadaga Nights and it was Crazy funny back then and he’s Still one of my favorite actors And still do! That’s one good thing about modern technology of Today:) Tina Anderson-Ohlrogge...
"Greasy, Shoeshine, how do you feel about our son's musical talent?" How did Maya do it with a straight face? 😂 But there's many, many sketches featuring Will that are more legendary, where's the love-ahs, the Spartan cheerleaders, Jeopardy? Although most of those are already on the channel, but so are these? Still funny though.
Chris Parnell was HILARIOUS back then. Haha. Lorne didn't really want him at the beginning. Luckily he made it on because he always made me laugh out loud. 🤭🤣
I've tried to find the skits with the european/futuristic family for years! Finally!! I know there was a great one with Michael Myers. Any help finding it?
Steve martin is the true contium of snl. Martin short has always demonstated the embodiment of snl. Dont forget before Martin short was on snl Scctv was its only cometitor in style. Fridays came out while both Scctv and snl was on. All three entities contributed greatly to the evolution of comedy.
The SNL cast are the reason that I became interested in comedy that's the reason I went to acting school and became a truck driver.
HAHAH
😂😂😭😂😭😂
😂😂😂
Oof the accuracy😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Holy shit, Will's sketch with Cecily had everyone breaking character laughing LMAO it was such a good sketch
When Kristin walked in with the tiny hands I lost it🤣
She's just 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that character is such a bliss 🤣
9:20 I love how she doesn't even hesitate when saying "YEAAAH!" kristen Wiig is so good at playing ugly.
Saga Sitches he didn’t even finish his question
@@adub92199 I KNOW omg roflmao
Oh buddy, don’t make me hit you with my dog. Because I will do it. PEANUT IS LOCKED AND LOADED! 😂
I would watch that Funkytown sketch as a feature-length film. Incredible
Way to steal a sketch with one line: “next year I’m going to buy a goldfish” 😂
18:19
Dog: "C'mon Cecily, don't break, you never break. Keep it together woman!"
Will Ferrell is the reason I behaved as a kid so I could stay up late to watch SNL. I am so happy I grew up during the era he was on
@DOE John I’m 35 👵🏼

Is this best of his obscure skits because we all know his actual best characters...but so happy he got his 5 timers club jacket with a funny episode!

4:18 Lmfaooo “Greasy, Shoeshine” instead of Gregg and Susan 😂😂
Keenan is fantastic in every sketch he’s in. He’s hilarious! I feel like he’s very underrated!
@@cuterinnn Everyday French with Pierre Escargot was the only reason I watched All That
That is one of the funniest and craziest collections. Tears in my eyes from laughing.
11:35 Captain catfish he looks like the guy who started Scientology. 😂😂😭😭😂😂
This is an outstanding and genuinely funny series of sketch comedy ... thank you!
8:34 Yo that "Woah!" and his face afterwards killed me 😂😂😂
The make up special/effects people on the reality show deserve medals NOW.
Once again, that is the chillest dog in North America.
I hope it's deaf. :(
The Funkytown Debate skit was incredible. Genius concept.
Why does it feel like the design couple are real people?
They are real I, have moved their furniture. Scary ass shite.
@@thepsyc_one4245 😂😂😂
First, Kristen Wiig in Funkytown, krumping, then Bobby Moynihan's character is named, "Cold Giblet Gravy?!?" I'm deceased!! 😂😂😂
Love Will Ferrell, he can always make me laugh! Still one of my all-time favorite former SNL cast members!
Ferrell reactions to Dooneese is pricless. 😆🤣
Yay Will is definitely one of my favorites!! Where is the jacket ceremony?!?
I think they forgot 😅
This video is the best skits with Will Ferrell hosting. There’s another video with Will Ferrell getting his 5 timers robe.
this is best of will ferrell *hosting // obviously they didn’t compile his skits from when he was a cast member, there’s an actual dvd for that 😂
I’m pretty sure it’s three dvd’s
I once saw Will Farrell on the street in NY near Chelsea carrying what looked like his dry cleaning (shirts in bags with hangars). It was pretty epic.
I watched the original broadcast when Tom Hanks announced the 5 timers club and they have been my favorite sketches ever since.
I love this!! Will Ferrell is the best!!!

It's the x men school for sketch comedians and hopefully always will be
Agreed, 14 in 1975. Same opinion.
snl has been awful for more than half a decade unfortunately
So...no 5 times skit to give him his jacket?
There doesn’t need to be a skit every time there’s a 5 timer. They already showed a pic of him with the jacket on in the intro
They probably filmed one but it was cut for time LOL
@@DannyDevitooo sorry, it's required. Give the people what they want, and it can't be lame like the one they shot for Jonah Hill.

That dog is everything 😂
no Will is everything
Seth Meyers looks like the love-child of BJ Novak and Glenn Howerton.
19:00 This is the confused cat meme basically
that skit was hilarious, everyone were broken
@19:54~there's only one thing that can help Will snap himself back to being Will. MORE COWBELL !!!!!😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍🔥
Calmest dog ever.
Will Ferrell still one of the best and few good things to happen to snl
I laughed way too hard at the ketchup skit at the end!
The Reality BBQ bit is so good
That's some seriously funky recoil on Mr. Galactic Fantastic's Hat. Love it
Was that Usher?
It's so sad to watch my childhood comedy/parody legend to get old.
This skit was absolutely great! I LAUGH so hard
I can’t believe he’s only 52. Will Ferrell ages so fast
bro, that hollywood skit? They were breaking more than the Debby Downer one lmao. that was perfect.
Funky town skit had me dying
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!

There needs to be a "Best of Dogs" compilation.
I want Sinead O'Conner to be musical guest again. SNL owes her another spot.
Absolutely!!!
And now she’s gone 😢
That ketchup sketch has me DYING
I adore Will Ferrell!
Will is the best of SNL ♥️
The dog is everything!!!!
You didn’t include any Celebrity Jeopardy sketches.
Got to get some Connery
Probably gonna be a seperate video sometime soon
Yea, some of the hardest laughs ever in those.
He was a cast member for all of those, I think. These are from when he was hosting
It seems they picked only one skit from each episode he's been on.
"Get your hands up"🙌
