I love it! Reminds me of the 90s britpop day's. I could imagine this being the direction you guys would've gone in if you were still together going into the 90s. Honestly, it's fantastic. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album. I hope it does well in the charts. I think it will. 2025 might just be the return of the guitar bands, especially with oasis getting back together. 🙌
Nick Heyward is a really nice bloke. So down to earth and very humble who sees the fun in almost anything. Has a fun spirit about him. Song is uplifting and sounds noce
@@WayneCox-sr4iq the management did good old fashioned sh.. stirring, nick heywood was resting from burnout, and the management told the band he was going solo, (that he wanted the glory),id summise that the record company assumed that with nick gone, they could promote the band with the guitarist as the new lead man, exploiting the now well established fan base get them to record new material that the record company own the rights to, and pay the remaining band members a wage, rather than a cut of royalties as they would have to with nick as he was the song writer/owner or in other words, good old greed, and they told nick the rest of the band no longer wanted him, (which was a lie)
Had the car windows down this morning and shared with everyone as I drove along 😊 Fab comeback song. Can't wait to hear the album and Nick's new solo album as well 🙂
When will it be available to buy on cd or vinyl love it Nicks writing brilliant I heard it at the Belfast concert come on guy's get the album released ❤ it guy's
if you listen they got such a unique sound but also sound like oasis mixed with a modern Beatles fantastic sound and still on point 40 years on thank you for helping a teenager who was going through so much but your album helped me so much ❤
When I heard about this, I (and my line manager at work) went into 'Haircut One Hundred Land'. I didn't realise, but it's a place. Along with epic 80s bands like Wham, if you were there (and we were), and you think about it for a bit, you go back there. And it's a lovely place, try it. Dave Grohl cites them as a favourite band, high praise indeed. They've got to tour, and I'll be there. This is superb, thanks Nick and the band.
I'm about the third person here to comment on some XTC similarities and there is definitely nothing wrong with that. A Partridge/Heyward collaboration then taken on tour by Heyward would be very interesting
This new track is missing one essential component of the original Haircut 100 sound.. Phil Smith on saxophone!!!! Please bring Phil Smith back to the band!!!!!!!
Love this group from my ‘82 year. 92 KTUNYC radio embraced you and me more😊 Great comeback! Thank you!!
Great song: The return of Nick and 🎉the best 80's band ever! Haircut 100🎉
Indeed, imho love plus one was the best song written in the 80s..
Fantastic!! Such a happy tune! 🎉
3:10 Lovely single. I'll take this over the #Oasizzz reunion any day. 🙂
I'll take both.
I think both are great.
I love this single, and I'm stoked for the Oasis reunion.
Very latter day XTC sounding this.... Great song & Nick's vocals are stunning.
I’m so happy to hear new music from this band! And it’s so catchy!!!
This song has taken up residence in my head and it Will Not Leave... and I'm OK with that
Play it sped up at 1.25 and it sounds like ‘82 all over again. Good tune!
😆
What a joy! Had me dreaming of Clare Grogan and slipping that yellow tractor into 1st gear. A late summer triumph (Herald)!
Sounds great! I saw you on Rob Squad Reactions and it was great 👍
Sounds like the Lightning Seeds. Nice song.
Very true it does!
I love it!

How the hell did my man get fired from the Haircuts in the first place.

Not quite what I heard. @@danielhodgetts-d1b
@@danielhodgetts-d1bI remember Nick Heywood saying during an interview he didn’t want Haircut 100 to be like the Bay City Rollers.
It's a classic already !
Sounds very Haircut 100ey! ❤

Great song 🎶
Nice
Had an almost 60s Mersey Beat sound. Could have fit on the Last Night In SoHo soundtrack.
F*ckin' fantastic'👍...
This could be the best Haircut 100 track... ever
いーね!👍
Sounds like 60's..
Not so sure 😕
I wonder who all played on this track?
good song but please no more autotune
First!
It maybe a very good, catchy song - Classic Haircut 100 - however in reality, Nick Heywood and the lads should stay in the 1980s.
What do you mean. It's 2024
