I just bought the Mark slicker that you showed first at Superzoo. I bought it specifically to do legs on all my little foofoo dogs. I think it's perfect for that purpose. So important to get the legs to look right.
Thanks, I love these brushes! One thing we've noticed: Quality is especially important for the super-short-pinned slicker brushes. Some of the cheap ones have sort of a "jagged" pin edge. You can see it if you're myopic like I am (or with a magnifying glass id you're not) but you can also feel it -- run your fingertips across the brush and feel the tips. The cheap "jagged" ones tend to catch at the dog's coat and they can leave split/torn individual hair tips, which make the coat look less bright, less glossy, less healthy.
I just got a show prospect Cesky Terrier puppy. Everything I've read says never use a slicker on show coat. I honestly don't understand why it is a problem. Is there already a video I can watch on grooming drop coats? If not, could you please make one? One reason this puzzles me is I was taught how to groom with a Universal slicker and nor break coat.
I used it on my havenese and it shredded her foot , its a bloody mess and with her long coat I didn’t realize until after it got me, I’m furious! I love my sweet girl I feel so bad about it. I’m just going to throw the whole brush away. I wanted to leave a review to warn other but of course it’s no where to be found online, except eBay.

Can you provide a link to a slicker brush that you like?
What brush would you use on a Japanese Chin? They are a single coat breed

Why have that silly background music? You can't hear much of it aside from the irritation it causes. Do we listen to you or some music?
We're fixing this, thanks for your feedback.
