I am so surprised at how awesome and down to earth your videos are. I just picked up my first McCulloch ever today, an old Pro Mac 55. It's not breathing well, but the compression is excellent. She will be running like new in no time thanks to your videos, and thank you for all your help! :) Could you do a rebuild video? And how do we buy an axe?

So this evening, I'm browsing a site that features wood products that people have created and lo and behold there is a custom axe that someone had made. Behind me I hear a soft voice of my 6 year old daughter say "I'm serious, that's deadly." Guess I dont have to mention we've watched alot of these axe videos...keep it goin sir! Grace and peace
I've worked for two tree surgeons in my like. In high school I worked for Selvig Bros in Jacksonville Florida. I split wood in the yard and delivered firewood. The second was Ferrans in Jacksonville. I worked in the shop. Light duty maintenance welder, driver, chipper mechanic, flunkie. Etc. just restored my fathers old axe. No idea what it is but I'm proud of it. He passed two years ago. He was a DDAY veteran and and great father. He lived to 89 years old. Enjoy the videos.
My grandfather just gave me a pro mac 10-10s i love that i have that piece of history from him now I'm going to try and get it running this weekend so glad i found this channel now i can learn how to work on it.. Thanks Buckin'

That's awesome Billy.I just grabbed one of those same saws last night on Ebay. 3.5 cube/57cc lightweight powerhouse.Its one of the last of the 10-10 models,produced from 1982 to 1998.Supposed to be the ''hottest'' of the 10-10's,we'll see haha Updated version of my Pro Mac 55 produced from 1973-77.My 10--10S is almost New Old Stock with almost no paint loss,very low hours & all the stickers on air filter cover are 100% intact. Keep on doing what you do best,have fun & stay safe out there.

The 10-10S is a awesome saw! Its a special edition saw. Not too common of a saw! As far as I know its the only 10-10 model that has a compression release! Its also 57CC if my memory serves. Its basicly a PM 55 but only better LOL. Beautiful saw!!

I bought a lightly used Mac 10 10 Pro and the air filter is fairly clean and the saw has apparently not been used much. Are they sought after since they have all metal and a fairly big engine ? Mine came in its case with a bar cover of yellow plastic, too.

hey Billy I just got a old 1010 automatic. it Crunk up fit try lol . really 3 pulls. but it hadn't been Crunk since 89. are they as good as the huskys. been yrs since I've had one got this one from my wife's uncle.

I will check the model but they are big saws all steel construction would ya be interested no charge cuz you are a Mccullock man. I found an eager beaver and an xl2 homelite sitting out by the trash. both were like brand new. little cleaning and a compression test they purred like a kitten.

Hey great looking saw wow!! That thing is just about mint, man I can't wait to see that buck some of the big wood! Those little 28" axes are special, with a good profile on the bit they will chop darn near as good as a bigger one and they still have good (plastic) wedge driving power! Plus you can swing the crap out of them and they don't wear ya down. Great work Buckin, they are gorgeous that's for sure! The ol' watca makin them glo in the sun!

ok, stupid question time, compression? does pressing the button release pressure inside the saw and make it easier to start?
