Is there a way to switch the input signal to HDMI 1.4 from HDMI 2.0 on LG tvs? I was not able to find this setting. The HDR problem can be solved if you switch to HDMI 1.4.
Brother it wont solve the hdr issue. It could solve color banding issue to some extent but washed out color issue could be still there. And switching off 2.0 means using 1.4 signal.
Maybe it will be better to wait and get the new chromecast with google tv which is coming to India later this year during Diwali.Atleast that device is a genuine google product and will be supported by future software updates unlike the Motorola 4k media stick.

I have LG 1st generation 4K 3D TV 49UB850T it doesn't have HDR but has UHD deep colour mode and a dedicated HDMI port when I tested it with Fire stick 4k with 10 bit colour settings to TV 10 bit HDMI port, it didn't work. It worked only on HDCP 2.2 port HDMI only. So I am confused whether 10bit colour will work in my tv by Android box.Beside other 2 HDMI port also with ARC and MHL port. Whereas when I connected laptop to TV using HDMI it worked on all HDMI ports. My TV natively support 4k HEVC 60fps 10bit. I played local video as well as through Emby client app. Actually I became confused that mi box has better ports, but it is old device, and in motorola stick it has colour issue. So couldn't decide. I found name of meecool in your one of post. I searched it seems best device, but it is not launched in india yet. Overall this is very nice and informative video by you. Good job.
Thanks for your appreciation, mecool is currently officially sold in china only. But you can either import it from banggood or buy from some 3rd party seller on amazon or flipkart if anyone is selling. Downside of mecool is you donot get updates like security patches on time.

This is developed mostly for streaming platforms because of its better compression rate. S905X4 supports it but would be interesting to see how well it can handle higher bitrates videos. Because when brands advertise that their device supports HEVC or any other codecs they dont mention anything about bitrates. Currently, some devices could not play smoothly HEVC at high bitrate . Another thing about local content, how many would be available in AV1. I remember HEVC was first officially introduced in 2013 but took like 3 to 4 years for its wider usage for good quality encodes. Back in 2014 when I used to search by HEVC and x265 I used to get like only 50 to 100 contents that to with poor bitrate which was not at all playable on big screen. For TV screens (greater than 50 inch) you need good bit rate videos. Availability of mecool in India is bit doubtful in near future. But you can import or buy from third party sellers in india at bit higher price. Mecool is very good chinese TV box brand they just need to provide timely software updates.
Like I am suggesting others as well, Actually there are some IFs an BUTs involved before you choose any android box as the best device. Boxes and sticks which I have used till now, out of them I will recommend Fire Stick 4k for only OTT streamers and those who do not care about google services and pure android experience. For boxes, currently I would suggest Mi box 4k for pure android worshippers over motorola tv stick. If motorola fixes their HDR issue then with no doubt my recommendation would land slide to Motorola.

you have to use aux port of your tv to get downmixed sound. You will not be able to get digital sound without hdmi arc from moto tv stick. even if you get some converter type of arrangement, you will get only stereo not DD surround.
We cannot solve amzn problem. It is issue with the meta data reading by App. In simple words both app and device is finding it difficult to shake hands with each other. It is a major issue with HDR10+ TVs since it has many HDR10+ contents which app is trying to play on non HDR10 box and stick in HDR10+. Believe app needs some coding changes to differentiate between HDR10 and 10+ metadata which AMZN is not going to as they make similar rival devices (fire stick) which supports HDR10+. Even their low end lite version supports HDR10+.

In mi box 4k aux cum spdif port is there... So that we can connect it to spdif enable home theater...
But in moto tv stick aux or spdif port is not there . So how can i connect it to spdif enable home theater

you have to use aux port of your tv to get downmixed sound. You will not be able to get digital sound without hdmi arc from moto tv stick. even if you get some converter type of arrangement, you will get only stereo not DD surround.

How to slove amazon prime prblm in motorola
We cannot solve amzn problem. It is issue with the meta data reading by App. In simple words both app and device is finding it difficult to shake hands with each other. It is a major issue with HDR10+ TVs since it has many HDR10+ contents which app is trying to play on non HDR10 box and stick in HDR10+. Believe app needs some coding changes to differentiate between HDR10 and 10+ metadata which AMZN is not going to as they make similar rival devices (fire stick) which supports HDR10+. Even their low end lite version supports HDR10+.
