Being a long term user of Mi TV Box I'm fully satisfied with its performance and smoothness... As compared to realme tv stick its better because realme tv sticks gets hot quite easily and starts lagging so if it was upto me I'd rank Mi tv box rank 1

I am not satisfied with performance because i am facing following problems
1) it's lag too much
2) voice control not work sometime
3) Amazon prime not open from last 1 year
4) app load time too much
5) sometimes remote disconnect and i have to manually connect
6) UI is buggy
I am using mi box 4k for the last 2 years and it's doing amazing,yes it should get an update..but still u can buy it bcoz it has support for third party apps as well...

I am using firetv cube 2nd gen which I got in 5400 in deal ,its super smooth and fast and it has 16 gb storage. Firetv streaming devices get regular updates and are cheap during deals so its definitely no 1

My first ever smart tv stick was Amazon Fire stick 1st gen and it was working very good, infact it support so many audio formats and make the device to produce better sound output from either TV speakers or from soundbar.... But the main downside of this fire tv stick is that its remote
My first gen stick doesnt have volume buttons (i mean yes it was cheap but still other companies provide that and our tv remote doesnt work properly as it is an old non smart IGO comapny tv
Also when the remote fall down from even a normal height the remote battery backup gets degraded even after changing new batteries and there was a leakage from battery area when the remote fell down
Also my brother who lives in Australia bought fire stick 2020 model i think and it was lite version.... and he got the same issue of remote stops working properly after a certain period
But still the audio it produces is still the best
Later in 2020 we bought Mi4K box which support USB which was a great bonus for me and my family
The USB supports Fat32, ExFat and NTFS format USB devices
Firestick doesnt support Exfat USB devices
BTW i use this 4K Mi box for my projector
And since i was happy about Mi box i thought i would upgrade our Tv's smart stick from fire stick to Mi stick (not the box its the stick, liter version which is limited to 1080P) But i tried the USB hub and tried to connect USB device and it doesnt support any USB devices which was a let down for me but my mom is happy as she can experience lag free browsing on the Mi stick
But if i ever want to buy any smart stick then i would choose Google Stick or Apple 4K TV box.... I might consider Fire stick among any other sticks, only if the remote problem gets resolved and it happened to many fire tv stick users....

Mi Remote fell down several times but works perfectly.... And it is cheaper than this Fire TV's
And u said software of Fire Stick remote right ??? It sometimes have to register and there is no power button option... No volume control option if we use older version... Or liter version.... There are soo many cons in that app.... A remote is a remote which feels comfortable in hand rather than using phone all the time.... Who's gonna give their smartphone often to use firestick to their each and every family member???
I know they can use it on their mobile and i bet your family or any family won't feel comfortable using the phone app to control the stick.... A remote should do it's purpose without any hiccups

But then he upgraded from liter version to 4K max as he had offer there and he was getting the fire stick 4k max for under 3300/- & he purchased it and i think it is working fine as he didn't dropped the remote.... But there are complaints in INDIAN Amazon customer reviews that it is still happening
@@pradeep92917 I gave my Firestick 2nd gen to elderly mother to use and sideloaded loads of streaming apps for her. Then about 1 or 2 yrs ago, the remote control just stopped working. We tried new batteries, and even the new remote I use for my 4K Firestick doesnt work with the gen 2 Firestick she was using. She kept dropping the remote too as its slippy to hold so I bought a cheap glow in the dark, gripped silicon cover off Amazon which helped. But now no remote controllers work with her 2nd gen firestick, only option was to use the Amazon Remote app, but she doesnt have a smartphone or tablet.
She’s decided to just stay using Sky TV instead of buying the 4K firestick with voice. She’s 82 now though, has arthritis and found the Firestick remote slippy and easy to lose and drop. Her Sky remote is for visually impaired and disabled people so it is absolutely huge compared to Firestick remote, and the has grip surface sides & back.. It’s a shame Amazon doesnt offer a larger sized remote control for disabled users to purchase.
I'm using Amazon Fire tv stick for more than 4 years. The only issue is once the remote stop working it very expensive to my new remote. Remote cost around 2500.
I have used Google Chromecast 4k (still using), Firestick 4k, MI box and many more chinese Android Boxes. I can say with confidence and logic that Chromecast 4k with Google TV is the best without a single doubt followed by Fire Stick.

I've been using Mi Box 4K for over a year now. It's the best Android TV device on this planet. I was previously a firetv stick user, it became worse and pathetic with every OTA update. I'm glad I came accross Mi Box 4K!
can we upgrade its andriod version to latest future coming like 13 coming?
@@ArsahOfficial I have purposely not installed system update. I use out of the box system since the beginning. I suspect these companies ruin the hardware of the device by pushing OTA updates. So far, no issues with out of the box android version.

I am using Amazon fire TV stick same version except it's 1080p and I would say it works quiet great the remote has amazing connectivity I have connected my Sony home theatre to it using Bluetooth and it works just fine aswell, I have played games on it and throughout it works great, Ui is lag free too all while being invisible behind my TV, I am very satisfied with this product and one thing tech bar didn't tell was the you can use the fire TV mic too to turn on your tv

Basically, app support android based devices mai zyada hai. Because, hum native support ke bina bhi apos chala sakte hain. For eg, I play tekken 3 in mi mi 4k box using psx emulator and a controller and it's smooth.also we can watch free buff using apps like rokkr or kodi....

Even checked the latest model from the Sony showroom, and found the same laggy and jittery UI. Recently I updated the TV. Still, the issue is there. Even the experience became worse. What should I do?

I bought Mi tv box in 2016 from US .. 69 $ .. approx Rs 3800 ( In 2016 it was not launched in india ) …. It has been updated since several times …… it’s been 6 years then I am happy with it .. box is big and have heat management . … Apart from Apple TV , one more streaming device you should review …Nvidia shield

I was using Fire TV Stick 2nd Gen for last 4 years and was now frustrated by its sluggish UI speed. Now I've updated to Apple TV 4k 2022 and let me tell you, it is worth every extra penny spent. Especially if you have an iPhone, you'll love the ease you were missing in android TV ecosystem. Best thing I like about apple tv is App Switching (like on phones). Now I can switch between contents from different apps in less than a second.
Here comes price difference as well. Fire TV stick is for 3k or 4..5 k depending upon regular version or 4k version. However Apple TV stick is priced on higher side and everyone doesn't like to spend so much and get stick. Instead if you spend 4 to 5 k more you get smart TV itself.
Yes. FireOs also has non content related ads. Nobody wants to view ads for coffee cars and all. Apple is only slightly higher than FireCube but it has massively better processor which may end up lasting 10 years even. In that time frame a FireTV user might change 5 times because they only last 2 years before lag comes in.

Mi box has 3mm jack audio out and digital video out as well. Very useful for connecting to better audio system.

Last 03 yrs using Amazon Fire TV stick. Recently upgraded to Samsung Crystal Neo 4K Smart TV with Tizen OS. Since display is OS independent, the old FHD Fire TV stick works just as well with better resolution on the new TV as it has a 4K Upscaler. Ur rating is perfect.

Hi, I am using a very basic LED Lloyd TV (not a smart tv) and I don't know how the fire stick work as I am not technically sound. Additionally, the stick may not fit in the HDMI port as the space to plug in the stick is to small. I request a suggestion on whether I can watch you tube, Amazon prime and all the other OTT if I buy Amazon Fire stick and any alternative way to plug in the stick? Please suggest.

Mi box 4k was released in 2018 and i am using since 3.5 years i didn't get any logging and these days i am getting android 10 support with smooth animation 🤩
Mi tv box because it was available much prior to realme or others .. allowed to upgrade my non smart tv to smart when smart tv was not available . It performs decently with some tweaks.

I am using Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen), I am not getting Dolby Atmos support in Netflix, also I can't disable HDR which are only available in 3rd gen. They should update the 2nd gen also.

Fire TV stick is not as good as its expected.
bought back in 2018, was great at first but then later became extremely sluggish...
with limited RAM one cannot expect to smoothly jump across apps, some apps like Sony Liv (my most used app) runs extremely poor which I feel is not natively built for Fire OS and runs an emulated ver of its android counterpart.
Remote becomes unresponsive at times.
Although Prime runs great, so does netflix and hotstar. But at times the device just fails miserably.
Mine does not support 4K so i wonder if 4K one has better optimisation and processing power. If not, will probably but Fire TV Cube.
thats because the 2018 has a slower cpu, i bought the 2021 version and its smooth as hell even the 1080p version is superb

Mi box also has a very stupid Bluetooth problem where there is no connect button if I have to use headphones. It doesn't connect automatically as well. I have to manually unpair and then pair it every time.

@TechBar do you have any idea how do i fix my firestick remote up button inputs , it has changed to “ Okay “ input ??? It’s irritating i can’t go Up 😅😅
I used amazon tv stick 4k and then changed to Apple 4k tv; in terms of picture quality and super sound ; Apple 4k tv is amazing
