Their ep "Lovelorn: Moon" is amazing. "Sepulcher" is my favorite song from them. And they have a song "Shattered Moon ft Cpurtny Leplante of Spiritbox"
This is 100% one of my favorite bands ever. I wouldn't call them deathcore tho tbh just Metalcore with a lot of other influence like Prog at times, tiptoeing into deathcore sometimes, etc. Also side note: If you enjoyed this song, PLEASE listen to the entire album Claustrophobic by them while reading the lyrics. It's tells a story and is amazing - Don't listen to all of Lovelorn: Moon tho; they'll be taking it off streaming relatively soon and releasing all of Lovelorn together with more songs that will continue the story of Claustrophobic.
zerozeeros I’m talking about BIT in general. And I also said they tiptoe into Deathcore sometimes. But as a whole, aside from their debut album, more of their songs fit metalcore more than deathcore. This song however is definitely one of the more deathcore-esque tracks.
@@KingCrusoe fair enough for myself or metalbirb though who only know this song we can only go by what we heard. This is cool deathcore. But as you said if we listened to more of their stuff it would prob traverse back and forth between genres which isnt a bad thing
Are the albums concept stories? When I listen to something like Sleep I'm kinda wtf it sounds like he's expressing hurt and regret after killing his girl in an accident or some sort delusional episode or something. These guys have an awesome sound btw.
I'm glad you finally reviewed this song. I suggested it several months ago and wasn't sure if you would ever get to it. They are so good! Now you just need to review Instilled In Me!
Before I Turn is one of if not my FAVORITE of the "Metalcore that slowly dips into Deathcore" genre. They are the BEST. You should react to all of the Lovelorn: Moon EP. Then the entirety of Lovelorn when Lovelorn: Sun comes out.
Really glad this song was on the Patreon poll, as I really liked their album from a few years ago Claustrophobic. Apparently I missed that they had a new album come out this year. Will be listening to this most of the weekend now :)
Wait until their song ‘Love’ comes out. It accidentally got leaked and it was insaneeee. It’s coming out on their next album which is part 2 of the last album that was released by them
Before I Turn is one of my favorites another song to check out from the would be Lorn fr Shawn Milke of Alesana the best song on the Lorn: moon and sun
These guys are really song writers and have a good variety of songs, but theming and story telling is where this band truly shine. Worth checking out for sure. And may I suggest Claustrophobic or Shattered Moon (has Courtney LaPlante as a Feature).
I honesty think an entire album reaction/review is in order for these guys. Claustrophobic is one of the most cohesive albums I’ve ever heard and has such a great story throughout.
I found these guys earlier this year when their album Claustrophobic popped up in my Spotify and man that is suck a GREAT album. I like this song and the whole EP but Claustrophobic I found to be a lot more cohesive (plus it has a song with Bryan from Currents which is a BANGER)
This song/band came up on my spotify and it definitely hooked me. Havent checked out too much more yet, but this video was a good reminder to. If you liked this, you should check out some DEMATERALIZE as well.
As much as I enjoy the new Invent, Animate album, I think you should check out their old stuff like "Celestial Floods" if you haven't already. Their old vocalist did similar cleans to this. More harsh than the current IA vocalist. Celestial Floods and White Wolf I would recommend you to check out!!
It's rare that I do, but have to disagree Metalbirb. I love the chaotic nature of the Song with all rythmn changes. Absolute 🔥 to me. Maybe cos I'm very chaotic my self🤷🏻♂️I agree on the "cleans" I'm really glad they were still harsh and not superclean. That could have destroyed the Song for me. Anyway this is a banger and I will check out more🤘🏻
heavier than their average track for sure, I'd say this is my second favorite by them of all time, Leeches being my first. The guitar work on this one goes harrrrd
I see what youre saying about the kind of sloppy sound and I'll explain the sound best i can being a fan for a while. The style they portray is an influence by many elements of the vast genres of metal. But what i get when i listen to them is a story ( referring to the album Claustrophobic) its a concept of trying to be distinguished while unwinding in the mind hence the strange tense anxiety to the sound of it. Which makes them unique to me.
I think your opinion would be a little different if you had listened to some of their older material first. I feel these guys are very underrated and they're in the top 3 of my favorites. The Virus (debut) was really good, Claustrophobic was awesome and tells a story from start to finish. You should definitely check out Claustrophobic.
The song 100% got better as it went on. Started a bit generic, just sounded like another caught metalcore/deathcore band but it was like a snowball effect where it slowly built up into this epic track. I’m not completely sold but I’m interested and I want to see where this shit goes.
This band is primary a metalcore and secondary a deathcore band. The cleanvocals you called them, arent his cleanvocals. Pl check other songs from this band out, cause they are really nuts.
Their ep "Lovelorn: Moon" is amazing. "Sepulcher" is my favorite song from them. And they have a song "Shattered Moon ft Cpurtny Leplante of Spiritbox"
Sepulcher is such a unique song and its so good. Shattered moon is probably my favorite song on the EP.
Ahhh Shattered Moon is the track I've seen in the comments sooo many times. Making the connection now
@@METALBIRB the song Sleep features Brian Wille from Currents and Lorn features Shawn Mike from Alesana too
I love the first half of the EP because it's more deathcore.
Spooky Currents
I got Apnea vibes for some reason, maybe I’m just stupid.
Lmao love it
Funny enough, they're local to Currents and Chris Wiseman has produced their work for a bit now :)
Fun fact they are good friends with Currents actually.
"Claustrophobic" is my favorite song by them. It has a video as well.
About time you checked these dudes out! They have an amazing discography. White Lady is probably my favorite song of theirs
Hey man. Glad to see you on here. I would say Solitary Forever is my favorite and probably their heaviest yet.
This is 100% one of my favorite bands ever. I wouldn't call them deathcore tho tbh just Metalcore with a lot of other influence like Prog at times, tiptoeing into deathcore sometimes, etc.

It's tells a story and is amazing - Don't listen to all of Lovelorn: Moon tho; they'll be taking it off streaming relatively soon and releasing all of Lovelorn together with more songs that will continue the story of Claustrophobic.
Are we listening to a different song. Those vox are deathcore
zerozeeros I’m talking about BIT in general. And I also said they tiptoe into Deathcore sometimes. But as a whole, aside from their debut album, more of their songs fit metalcore more than deathcore. This song however is definitely one of the more deathcore-esque tracks.

zerozeeros indeed! I love everything this band has put out tho and def can’t recommend them enough
Are the albums concept stories? When I listen to something like Sleep I'm kinda wtf it sounds like he's expressing hurt and regret after killing his girl in an accident or some sort delusional episode or something. These guys have an awesome sound btw.
Never heard of this band before but I dig this
They have very unique sound, I've been fan for a while.
How have u not heard of before i turn lol
Enjoy the journey. All 3 albums are amazing.
How did I miss this video? Good review of the song dude. They just dropped the full Lovelorn album today and it's perfection
Invent Animate is S tier, you’re just not sad enough
Need to get sadder :(
Personally, I feel the "jumbled" pacing adds a lot of fun variety. Those blast beats would not feel as powerful without those slower tempos IMO.
Respect that dude! Everyone's different
I'm glad you finally reviewed this song. I suggested it several months ago and wasn't sure if you would ever get to it. They are so good! Now you just need to review Instilled In Me!

FINALLY BEFORE I TURN!!!
PLEASE also do “Shattered Moon” which features Courtney LaPlante. You’ll love it dude! :)
Really glad this song was on the Patreon poll, as I really liked their album from a few years ago Claustrophobic. Apparently I missed that they had a new album come out this year. Will be listening to this most of the weekend now :)
BEFORE I TURN - LORN !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Def need to check out Sleep, Bereave, Claustrophobic, and Masquerade by them. This band is a banger factory.
Murder by Before I Turn is fucking sick
Yeeees, finally! They are so good! It's great that you got to check them out.
They have a song with Courtney la Plante on the same album, Shattered Moon - it’s another great one!
good job mvb's. this is my favorite album of the year.
Before i turn- latent of perception.
Before i turn- sepulcher
Wait until their song ‘Love’ comes out. It accidentally got leaked and it was insaneeee. It’s coming out on their next album which is part 2 of the last album that was released by them
Before I Turn- Sleep ft. Currents. Fucking amazing! I absolutely love this band
Fucking love these guys, thanks for your awesome reaction🔥❤️
Fun band 😁 listen to The gloom in the corner - violence
Enterprise Earth - foundation of bones
Their song Leeches features Adam Warren of Oceano, it was the first song I heard from them and I took the leap 🤌
Oh my god that chunky bass guitar section 🥵
Their bassist is way more prominent than most in the genre. This EP has some really smooth Bass sequences
Before I Turn is one of my favorites another song to check out from the would be Lorn fr Shawn Milke of Alesana the best song on the Lorn: moon and sun
Check out "Masquerade" by them. One of my favs from their recent stuff
Strong Vildhjarta vibes here. Diggin’ it!
Love me some BIT, Picked up everything from them since their second album :P The first ended up being my fav before this EP came out.
These guys are really song writers and have a good variety of songs, but theming and story telling is where this band truly shine.
Worth checking out for sure. And may I suggest Claustrophobic or Shattered Moon (has Courtney LaPlante as a Feature).

They are awesome i went to highschool with the drummer they are from Connecticut 🤘🏼 they are only like 22-25ish years old too
This whole album is fire, you should react to “ Masquerade, lorn, or Shattered Moon.” By them
You should check out Sepulcher by them as well. My personal song of the year right now.
OMG FINALLY!! These guys are awesome, check out the song “Claustrophobic” by them. It’s brutal & amazingly conceptual.
Ugh that DnB part sold me. Solid band 🤘💯
This song/band came up on my spotify and it definitely hooked me. Havent checked out too much more yet, but this video was a good reminder to. If you liked this, you should check out some DEMATERALIZE as well.
Finally someone reacts to this band. Nice pick, there song the virus is in my opinion is also one of there best songs highly recommend it.
Love these guys, found them a few years ago. There amazing
Give these guys a look at; If you haven't heard of them, it's about time!

Check out their song Latent Perception off the album Claustrophobic.

I've always considered these guys a budget In Dying Arms. Not a bad thing at all, just the deathcore-with-cleans vibe, mostly.
heavier than their average track for sure, I'd say this is my second favorite by them of all time, Leeches being my first. The guitar work on this one goes harrrrd
Hi! I think you like this guys - Rock & Roll Queen - I’m still 666 (feat. Cameronazi & LVL9)
Their Claustrophobic is the best.

Def a super good tune! Great choice for a Friday!
Never heard of them before left a fan
Yellow flannel?! I'm feeling a strong 8 on this song.
"Internet's busiest metal nerd"
The wandering song called salt of the earth
check out their track "solitary forever" shit is so high tempo and brutal with like 3 breakdowns
That was actually fun
Hardcore Keems reaction to this song is priceless.
Its the quickest song ive seen him get out of his chair for
Lol watching now
Edit: holy shit his dancing at the bass section fuckin killed me lmao
@@METALBIRB haha its fucking gold aye

Review Masquerade by Before I Turn fuckin banger bro
Dope band love just about all there songs Claustrophobic is also great!
I actually still don't know what happened to Metalbabe
She learned bball this summer and now she’s touring with the Harlem Globetrotters
@@METALBIRB ah okay okay. I wish her the best of luck. I initially thought you guys broke up or something
This band is primary a metalcore and secondary a deathcore band. The cleanvocals you called them, arent his cleanvocals. Pl check other songs from this band out, cause they are really nuts.
Please do landlmine by Polaris
Little late on my daily comment but Dreamhouse by Deafheaven!
Please react to Lorn my Before I Turn
Please react to Lovelorn by Before I Turn ft.Mike from Alesana
Prog is always noice
Liked it... not loved it. At least it was not that predictable.
Claustrophobic by these guys. Or Prophets!
these shredding lead guitar sounds so annoying for me, like Rings of Saturn pretends to be serious
Literally not the song to review by them they have way better ones tbh
gallows
Nah. Not my cup of tea
Nah, this is their worst material so far. Claustrophobic album is their peak and a masterpiece of the genre
