Easy way to pump up audio for input "the mic" on windows. Go to settings > System > Sound > Scroll down to Input and press "Device Properties" > On the bottom is a slider for audio. You can turn it up that way. My mic started on around 40 so I raised up to 70, but you could do it more.
Bought these for production. Didn’t work because of lack of low end. With these I’d say mix your lows and extreme high on another system. I love them because there’s NO harsh frequencies so if I learn where they they are I can compensate without having to go back and forth to the car 🤟
What I'd really like to see from these video reviews is a look at the cable, a look at any adapter cable for use with a game console, a look at the Windows input device status under sound settings to see if Windows recognizes the microphone, and a look to see if there is a microphone boost option on the volume mixer when the microphone is plugged in.
Im probably never buying a Razer product ever again. I gave 70 and something dollars thinking that I'll be able to enjoy every single second wearing them but that wasn't the case. When i was putting them on for rhe first time i remember the look on my face, it was pure unsatisfaction. First of all the bass is really weak and if u want to hear and feel it u gotta blast the headset at around max and if ur on a PC you'll need to be somewhere between 70 and 80 percent. Second problem is that the Razer synapse programe is the shittiest thing i ever installed on my laptop, it cant even recognize my device so im not able to change the settings on the headset. I think that if i can make the synapse working i might change the bass to be better. Finally the third and last thing about this headset is that they didn't come with an activation code for the 7.1 and even tough i dont really care about the 7.1 it's still like a main thing for the headset that's one of the things that makes it special. So if someone is reading this comment, i gladly recommend getting normal headphones like sony or JBL because the risk is too big to throw away a big amount of money for shit products that are getting praised for no fucking reason
What he said, got them myself and only now just realizing what a shitty purchasing decision I made. I don't even care about the surround sound part of it, just its basic stereo function sounds utterly underwhelming to even the cheapest earbuds you could use.
@@royal2852 buddy, u know what was my solution. I bough new headphones, i bought the Anker soundcore life q10s(Bluetooth). Those were the best spent 30$ in my life. Because of the Krakens i got really fucking angry so i messaged Razer directly. My boys said that headphones with 3.5mm jacks aren't even compatible with their software, which means they aren't even able to be tuned. I find it just weird and silly because the Razer kraken x with usb are compatible with the synapse but the more expensive and ''better" Kraken aren't. They tried helping me fix the problem but there is no actual problem that's just the way they work. I don't know how bout over time they got better or maybe i just got used to them. Overall they are not bad headphones but they are definitely overpriced. If you like bass i highly recommend gettin the anker life q10 trust me you will be thankful to me for the rest of your life.

Sorry for the slow reply, I have not used the Black Shark V2 yet but have heard really good things, so might go with that. The Krakens are nice but the design of the BSv2 looks more comfortable. But if you want to go wireless the Nari is very nice, I use the Ulitmate a lot. But not the best build and is very big.

Bought these, not great. Practically only for competitive games, Insane amount of base that ruins just about every other sound. The earpads for comfortable, but didn't fit me that great, which might not affect everyone, but I didn't like it. Also, it got really hot, the "gel" did absolutely nothing. If you want something good, buy some cheap studio headphones. I bought the superlux HD668b headphones with some velour earpads, also a cheap $20 mic (80 total) and it's way better than most gaming headsets.

I have the Mercury Edition, I bought this headset for my younger brother because he has a very cheap Turtle Beach headset. He saved up a lot for it and hasn't replaced it because of the work he put into it and also because he's still a student and doesn't have money. From my experience this headset is very good. It's comfortable and has good quality sound. The mic is okay, it's good enough for chatting with other people in game or even on Discord.

I just received mine and the mic is a huuuuuuuggge let down. I basically have to crank everything up to 100% to be barely audible at all. It is a common problem apparently with no definite solution. I tried every workaround and fix there is. When I try it on my phone, it sounds exactly the same as without. I will be returning this.

ive ordered a pair of the mercury ones, for £50 on amazon today, i wanted a headset i can use with my phone out and about so a retractable mic was a must. also use with my laptop for latenight entertainment without waking anyone. sure could use with the xbox too. overall ticks the boxes, though i know the quality wont be as good as my senhienzer momentums i had. shall do till i get a proper setup. good value

If you want 7.1 surround sound then go after TE and if u don't need it go after this they are basicly the same

I just received mine and the mic is a huuuuuuuggge let down. I basically have to crank everything up to 100% to be barely audible at all. It is a common problem apparently with no definite solution. I tried every workaround and fix there is. When I try it on my phone, it sounds exactly the same as without. I will be returning this.
So it reduces the keyboard more than most headsets?

I just purchased the Kraken an hour ago and last week I purchased the Sennheiser GSP 600 which is better then the Kraken. I'll be using them to watch movies and for guest to use.

amazing truly amazing headset and mic but after a few months like 9 (For me) like 9 months i had it and after a few wear and tear it breaks. I think it was because i used it to aggressively tho

ive ordered a pair of the mercury ones, for £50 on amazon today, i wanted a headset i can use with my phone out and about so a retractable mic was a must. also use with my laptop for latenight entertainment without waking anyone. sure could use with the xbox too. overall ticks the boxes, though i know the quality wont be as good as my senhienzer momentums i had. shall do till i get a proper setup. good value
