Imagine being 10 seconds into the trial; you have no idea what killer it is and then the trapper literally *emerges from the wall* and hits you immediately
This happened to me when I was playing against a Xenomorph and I walked to get a Sentry and it jumped out at me and jump scared me. I'm such a potato at times :D
I will say that the most satisfying traps is the unhinged placements where you think to yourself "nobody will ever step in that". Nea is the exact thrill I aim for with my trap placement.
As soon as I saw that one of the survivors got caught in a trap without sound, I knew Scott will eventually get into a bug. This one is old bug that BHVR don't fix for some reason. Basically if you put trap a bit too close to a pallet (not sure if it still happens with windows) and survivor get trapped mid-animation, trap become a shroedinger trap. On one hand, it will be active aka "trapping" anyone who dares to get close, but in same time it not be active to actually finish animation or allow trapper or survivors to do anything with a trap at all
Remember the one time I was playing trapper I was on father's chapel I was struggling with two hooks and down to 2 gen but the moment I got somone in basement the survivors started falling apart and all of them died in basement
Zubat had this a week or two ago with a trap on the window of Gas Haven. If your trap triggers like that without any audio, it just breaks the trap and you get stuck until you slowly wiggle out.
@@KatyaAbc575 Even then you're on deathhook, the disconnect is just rude and spiteful. I "get" some disconnects, especially if you're against a Killer you don't like going against, such as how most people play Skull Merchant or Twins, maybe Nurse and Blight as well. But that's start of game, maybe midgame depending on play style of the Killer such as four slowdown Blight or all slug Nurse. I will _never_ understand disconnecting on deathhook if the Killer has picked you up and is actively carrying you to a hook. I _can_ understand it if you are being slugged while on deathhook though.
@@vladspellbinder Picking up, carrying to hook, hooking and going through the lengthy sacrifise animation takes time. I am not defending it, I am just explaining you what might go through that persons head when doing that. Like I said, if that person is already done with the game for that day (so disconnect penalty doesnt matter to them), they might be like, why waste my time just watching me die.

The instant DC by Nea as she gets caught in the middle of the room trap tech is just perfection
“Who is he… some kind of The Trapper?”
“If we aren’t careful, we’ll all be Dead By Daylight (2016).”
nea getting caught in the same trap twice
And then DCs. Like why are you even in shack? There’s no gen or pallet anymore lmao

Nea getting caught in the same trap in the middle of shack twice and then DC’ing 😭

This game was fantastic, i love the mindset of "i know this is highly stupid and completely wrong if I want to win, but IT IS funny"
the biggest mystery is why scott is even playing trapper in the first place
Viewer builds.
Every trapper game is the most cursed game

Your claudette impression is 10/10
We still need our Wraith Serpent Addon video
After this and the Otz video yesterday. Imma just say dbd is wild if you dont think that hard.
The greatest friends were the traps we trapped along the way

everyone: trapper has a bad early game because he has to pick many traps and put them at the right place.
Scott: traps?

This video somehow crashed my phone after I finished watching it.
The curse is real
12min straight chuckling
The one game I watch from the stream is the one game that get’s uploaded 😢
nea thought she was badass, never expected the middle of the room trap
Ah, so just a regular game of Trapper, then :3
hell yeah, scott trapper poggy
I run that on huntress minus the blood warden but it looks promising might have to give it a try
9:03 I really don't get people disconnecting on death hook. I just really don't.
Thanks for the video Scott.
Probably people just done with the game for that day, so the disconnect penalty doesnt matter to them.

How can a trapper game be cursed? *sees the benjo build* ohhhhh I see
Why was there no notification for the trap going off?

The real trap is this buggy game you are trapped in
That was great indeed
I guess you could say this game was a trap.
These traps were stupid indeed, but nea wasnt smart either
8 years old game btw, they clearly didn't had time to iron-out the bugs...
