I'm playing wood elf vampire warden, im only lvl 30 and lvl 2 vampire, i love the animations on feeding but soon after i got to stage 4 i found i cant learn riding lessons or interact with npcs so im lvling in stage one 😭

I'm a lore and RP dork who got a little tired of seeing every build look the same, so I appreciate how you always make builds that can fit different backstories or playstyles! I found this while looking for a build for my vampire who only uses shock magic, and it's a blast to play! Took me a while to get it together, but it was so rewarding when I solo'd my first dungeon with him! I also appreciate how detailed your guides are, not only saying to "use this armour, use this skill" but also *why* and what skills to use for what situations in battle.
Keep it up! I can't wait to finish the builds on my other toons, and see what you come up with next!

I know I was looking for one and haven't found one yet since High Isle release. Especially when the glitch happened to the champion points it was a good time to look into updating my character.
I somehow found a built that someone release in the beginning of this year. It said it was updated and took new things into account but when I compared it to this video - it's very similar 😅 (yes, it suggests different aromor sets and some skills but I think it's more of a personal choice rather than "being the best".
So there is not much to move around vamp builds I guess. Their best skill is Fury and the rest is like the usual magical sorcerer.
Any chance you could do an updated version for flames of ambition??

How's the game treating you after your first year?
It might be beneficial to have a second staff for the front bar with a prismatic onslaught glyph for then new greymoor content- so much undead. I've got one infused and it's at a little over 9k additional damage
As someone who plays the game for endgame content , and who’s toons are all built around hitting hard in trials, your builds do bring me new enjoyment . I’m gonna make a vampire solo build and werewolf solo build to have fun and lay back .

Man by far the best eso content creator I'm still using the one bar magplar build I would love to see a magplar vampire build can't wait for the new update to see how good vampires and wearwolfs will be, so much fun to play
i am loving this build! even though i got carried away juuuust a little bit too much, because my vamp sorc is stage 4 a lot of the time xD
This is very similar to what I already run. Don’t forget to heavy attack every so often. It will not only help with mag recovery but also give you a chance to reset or refresh your skills if you need too.
And everyone told me on the current patch that running overwhelming, new moon, and ilambris was bad... i changed my build almost completely, time to make a new sorc!

I'm running this only with 1 less peice of new moon to run the thrassian stranglers... 0ver 7k spell DMG. Yes u have to be very care full but it works by adjusting your stacks no more then 10 for hardmodes

Really interesting. I was considering curing my bite, I had got it very early on thinking it would give me a whole quest line and story like the Skyrim DLC. Instead it basically penalizes me. I haven't used it for anything, so might hold on to it for a bit longer.
I combined your health recovery sorc with vamp and adjusted one of the sets to orgnum scales. Almost 5k spell damage, 4K health recovery, a heavy attack build so sustain is beast but next to nothing for spell crit I’m thinking about throwing malacaths band of brutality to boost raw damage 😁
Can you have some more info on that build?

Wouldn't Dark Elf be a good choice as well? You avoid one of the drawbacks of the vampire, at the cost of some sustain. (VS Breton or High Elf)

If u in a group dungeon u can use charged atronach for synergy getting 25% extra damage done to enemy's
I'm only 5 minutes in on the video but already this is fire, I'm making a new character with this build! I mostly prefer tank builds though so I hope you make one of those too for this chapter xD
true if you want a good lycan solo build use a tanking Stamina high based race look into alcastHQ ,this Shock Norsfratu based build is cool great survivabilty with that Monster set i suggest Iceheart set for even more survivability so forth.

I haven't played my main in a very long time and didn't know they nerfed vampires. I was about to go find me a cure before I came across your guide. I think I'll stick with this for a bit longer and see how viable it is.

Mag Necro would work almost the same way but spam the scythe for a class ability to proc overwhelming surge but no crit surge :((( overwhelming surge was my 2nd set i farmed for when. I started like 4 yrs ago. Glad to see it getting some love finally

Would love to see a flames of ambition update for this build. Currently using this build, but with the new additons and CP rework its hard to tell whats still viable and what isnt.
You should be hitting your pet ability as it can also proc shards. Plus that aoe damage is good and hells with survivability when you're grinding big groups.

I love you, man. This might help me save my main (Altmer magsorc vampire) AND use New Moon, which I always wanted.
EDIT: As I am piss-poor and can't craft NMA set yet, I have opted for Law of Julianos instead, and let me tell you that I still hit like a truck and am enjoying very, very much this build.
Thanks, Hack, really, you helped me repurpose a weird mage offtank that wasn't viable for any real group content, and now he is a happy, successful DPS that actively uses vampire-themed skills and will be able to get into real content pretty soon.
I could see a magblade wanting to sit at stage 2 for the passive (since they have cloak to keep it up 100%) but yeah, it's hard to see why you would want to go higher. The loss of sustain isn't worth stage 3 to activate Undeath for tanks, and vamp abilities don't stand on their own well enough for you to rely on them as heavily as you would need to make stage 4 feasible for anything other than goofing off soloing (which, admittingly, is something I do a lot, so nothing against it, but I'm not beating vMA doing that either.)
I think they put the cost increase to make you really spec into being a full vampire build or not. No more just being Vampire for basically free passives
@@HackTheMinotaur which is something I'm all for. Becoming a vampire for no reason other than 10% regen and Undeath was always silly.
Still, I hope they can eventually find a balance where even the hardcore min-maxers have a reason to feed.

How does this compare to the heavy armour health recovery build?
I really enjoy that builds survivability. And it is super easy to use. But the damage was never the best but still good enough for world bosses or dungeons.
So in terms of damage and survivability, which h one would you say was better in which areas?

Could you make a Vampire Magsorc build for PVP? I know PVE offers more endgame but I really like the PVP in the game, however there aren't many PVP builds for Vampire Magsorc. Alternatively could I use this build for PVP and just have a separate armor setup?
PVP is easy to set up. Even off this mode. You just have to add one skill and change clothing. Set it up to where you never run out of your Ultimate and your healing is high. Then just run around draining people while in ultimate form. That’s what I’ve done. It works very well

Unnatural movement has to be one of the most fun things to use, which I will never use because of the pretty bad passives
you should try simmering frenzy on vamplar i can over heal and they didnt cap the ammount it increases like in pts so my dmg just keeps going up as long as i can afford the heal. its pretty spicy you should try it i get crazy heals for group content and more dps than my original healer build. i have completed most vet content in the game no problem with it and its a blast and dungeons are instant.
Any way to get some one on one training / discussions about this game? I’m new to the game and I haven’t a sorcerer but not sure on all the terminology and I’d like to upgrade my characters magic, etc. not sure where to go for this. Any help would be appreciated please.

I would love it if ZOS reworked classes by allowing players to pick two trees from any of the classes. They could even add a shrine for reselecting trees and tokens for it that cost zenibucks. The obvious downside would be that the balance would be thrown out of whack, but I would like to say that the game is not balanced, never has been, and never will be. Just let chaos reign for a bit and the community will sort it out all into neat meta piles just as it has always had to do.
So this is more of a general question concerning vamps, but is this / are they still viable? I dig the lore and story beats of being a vampire hero during the events of Greymoor, but I'm wondering just how badly I'm handicapping myself given the nerfs vamps received.

Why new moon? This increase spell cost +5%. Have alternative? Mother sorrow or anower set?
My only current vampire is a Templar. Guess with the changes you need more passive healing. Time to role play a different build.

He's saying front bar and back bar, I assume they are meant to be for the two sets of skills you can have. But I had no idea you can have two different sets of armour/accessories for each set of skills. I figured it was one set and just different weapons
It is just one set of armor and different weapons.
Llambris can also proc from the pet.

Nope there was a patch that came out in the when the greymoor chapter got released and changed and basically reworked the vamp skill line and buffs and debuffs.
Yes U can if you dont have to farm armor sets from that particular greymoor zone..
Patch for greymoor is aplied to all eso so u can be vampire with those new active and passive skills.

HELP- ok new player here (2 weeks in) so I need some help. I went Dark elf cause I like the race. I play console (XBOX) but I was a huge EQ and WOW guy in the day don’t hate I just don’t have time to PC.
That said I need help understanding if I can second bar on console? If I can only single bar as a Vamp Mag Sorc what do I need to be running? Im using both pets out. I’m level 21 and have watched all the starter videos I can find so I am mage, fighters, undaunted, scryer guild already am I missing something else I should have?
Main Ultimate? DPS is what I want to focus on. With limits on bars I need some help so I level everything skill wise up. Any advice highly appreciated!!!

Is this better than the normal magicka sorcerer or do the vampire skills give it an edge on solo content?
Crushing shock instead of force pulse also stuns and interrupts alot
Good vid but one thing, using jewelry from a crafted set is gonna be costly as hell. I'd say it's much easier to get the jewelry from the dungeon set and craft 3 other pieces.
That's always an option too. For me I'd rather craft the jewelry even if I don't upgrade it to purple or gold. Sometimes that dungeon RNG takes forever to get jewelry and weapons, and it's easier to farm body pieces because you get multiple chances each dungeon.
Maw of the Infernal I think works a bit better than ilambris.

im still fairly new to ESO, 1st character CP 125 just got infected with vampirism, still going through the campaigns tbh... should i work towards this build with none of the top tier gear and it should still work well, or wait till end game where i can get this good gear and just stick with what i am running at the minute?

Hack is it okay to use 2 New Moon Staffs on this build ? If not can you tell me the reason why please. Great builds dude your the best.
New Moon increases the cost of abilities by 5%. So you can run in back bar, but it will increase the cost of all those abilities including your back bar ultimate. That’s why I prefer front bar only.
i'm using 3 jewelry and staff, but the set of new moon not working, it said 3/5 set
