The infinity is supposed to be a stable shoe, so the strange shapes of the midsole are designed in a way that the foam compresses more on the lateral to support the arch and try to help with overpronation.
I just bought these EXACT sneakers 3 weeks ago. They are very comfortable but run small. I’m normally size 11 in everything but i got a size 12 in these. 11.5 was ok too but 12 was perfect
Hes is right, it's a matter of preference when it comes to cushioning. I thought i liked the Invncible run 3 but it was too cushiony, i look for comfort and those were way wobbly for me. The types of pegasus 39 and xplr boost was the best type of cushioning for me.
Hes isn't a runner though, it's hard to take his criticism of running shoes seriously because of that. Heavily cushioned shoes are not meant for all day use.
I don't run at all, I wear boots all day everyday for work. My feet, especially my forefoot are in pain constantly. I've been searching for a sneaker that has extra cushioning in the forefoot. At this point, I don't care about the look, as long as it's super comfortable with Max cushioning. Also, I'm about 210lbs...Can use your opinion
These shoes are really frustrating. I personally think they are one of the best looking Nike Running shoes ever made and they make them in alot of dope colors However.......I wear a 10 so bought 2 pairs off the Nike website in a 10 and they felt to small. I took them back and ordered the 10.5 and they feel good but just a tiny big. If they start to stretch out then they will be 2 big. Do these stretch out is what I'm trying to find out?? I feel like they have not been out long enough for anyone to really have commented much on their fit.
Yes yesterday 5-13-24 Monday,I saw that shoe in gore,-tex nice nice, wasn't my size or would of bought for 64.99$ yeah rack store was at! They were teal color with little orange, very nice. That model of shoe is just nice no matter what one you get.
great review! Let's face it, NIKE doesn't like wide foot people like us. I agree with you that it sounds silly for them to have to tell people to size-up. Sounds like a disconnect somewhere. They need to get with the times and offer more wide feet options. Until then, I'll be buying NB and ASICS.
I’ve got both the invincible3 and the infinity 4, I prefer the infinity yet the invincible 2 is even more comfortable than the invincible 3, after getting inv 3 I was getting bisters on my heels and went back to wearing the 2s. I just bought the infinity 4s and they feel perfect not too soft and much better upper than the invincibles, even looks wise I prefer the infinity 4s
I just got a pair of these, this week, at my local Nike Factory Outlet. A "gently worn" refurbished white 8.5. SOOOO squishy!! 😍😘 OH, and I forgot to mention, because they were "refurbished", they were $80.00, but then I got my member discount, and they ended up costing $56.00!!! 😮😃👍
@IscopeIsDaGoat - Yeah, that's about the normal price, at least through the app. I think they're $160.00, in the app. But that's not a shoe that my local Redlands, CA Nike Factory Outlet, carries. They don't seem to have anything of high value, certainly not in shoes. With the way these stores are getting flash-burglarized, I can see why. Just carry enough Nike product, to keep the store open.
The Infinity Run 4's seem too high up and narrow in the heel... these are the type of shoes I roll my ankles in. I hope I'm wrong and will likely get a pair to try on at least. But as much as I want to embrace the latest and greatest, I just have a feeling that the 4's may not be for me. I've been wearing the Invincible 1 & 2's for the past few yrs in the ER and I find them to be most comfortable and the wider base and React foam seems like a fine combo. Before that, I was wearing Pegasus Turbo's at work and those were amazing too... I have a pair of Invincible 3's coming since my current Invincible 2's literally falling apart where foam meets liner is coming unglued, WTF Nike!? However I do put some serious mileage at work and this pair lasted 9 months which I guess I should be grateful I guess...
I was looking forward to a review on these! thank you! however, all of these reviews and new models seems to get me lean more away from nike, and more towards new balance and asics.
Really wish we could post pics in the comments …I made 2 colorways that look awesome. First is all white upper with a turquoise green Nike swoosh and also that horizontal strip on the heel. (Also made that strip plain, so there are no dots on it) with the “gray”outsole or whatever it’s called. Other one was all black with the swoosh and back strip in the black color shift material and also with that gray/cream outsole but for the midsole I did the gradient from black-gray. They both look so good.
I like to imagine all content creators intentionally have typos, mispronounce things, or say something almost hypocritical from a previous video to get the comment algo poppin. Richie Le does this alot 😂. I see obvious faux pas on tiktok all the time
the previous generation was much better i don't know why they spoilt the entire lineup by getting this shoe. it was always called Nike React Infinity Run and RN ??? its so unconfotable and does not give balance to your feet also very huge sole. i wish next year they get back the previous generation like 3.
Ok from what I understand is it’s not a new react midsole. But like with EVA it started as a block and pushed into the mood and shaped. Then they changed it to a while cream kinda of material and they foam inject it into the mold instead which makes shoes lighter and softer under foot. So they did that with the react. They just put it into a liquid to spray it into the mold which make its way less carbon footprint and a bit softer and bouncier. Not a big carbon footprint guy meaning it doesn’t usually effect my decision on trying out a new shoe. But I’m not against it either. What’s weird is it does seem like there is a second foam on the top of the react. Last point I truly am annoyed like ANNOYED!!! that they put a better upper on these cheaper shoes but on the invincible zoomx 3 has one of the ugliest uppers ever made. It looks like when your kid wipes there boogers on there sleeve during the winter and it gets all shiny and crusty lol. That’s how I feel about the zoomx 3s. God bless bro hope this helped with the reactx is.
I hate the stupid blubber butt sole design that's currently used in a lot of running shoes, you won't be able to go down the stairs without risking your life in these shoes.
Here's a fact for people who didn't know, Nike actually added a water-resistant lining to the toebox for those "wetter" runs
The infinity is supposed to be a stable shoe, so the strange shapes of the midsole are designed in a way that the foam compresses more on the lateral to support the arch and try to help with overpronation.
I ended up going a full size up since I have wider feet. It’s actually a super comfortable shoe, I’d recommend trying it on in person before buying.
I looked these up after getting them at an outlet for 64$ they are amazing shoes after watching this and finding out retail is 160 is mind blowing
I just bought these EXACT sneakers 3 weeks ago. They are very comfortable but run small. I’m normally size 11 in everything but i got a size 12 in these. 11.5 was ok too but 12 was perfect
I was waiting for these model but I was able to get the invincible 3s for 109$ at the Nike outlet 🔥😬
Wow!!!
I just bought the invincible 3 and returned them. I wear a custom insole, stuck it in the shoe and my heel was sliding out with each step.
“Tired” the Nike React got me 😂 will check em out too 😊
Both this and the vomero 17 have the wide version for the same price. Which one would you recommend as a daily shoe?
Thank you for the review! Truly appreciate what you do for the sneaker community!
Phylonn3 my man
I got them for like 89 dollars, do you think that was a really good deal?
I have the Nike Motiva. Is this the same foam? That foam is excellent underfoot.
Are they durable. , how are they holding up
I’m a sucker for oreo flyknit what can I say
These look 🔥
Got these and it feels like clouds!
Good for walking?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc yep

@@Jumalten001true, this channel is for ppl who want to know/ buy this shoe but not a runner
The all black pair are 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Are these good as a casual day to day sneakers, not for running?
You get these?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc Nope, sorry
Nike needs to make these (and other shoes beyond the Pegasus) in wide. So many Nike runners are unwearable unless you're a B width.
Just bought the movitas last week it literally felt i was walking on pillows
I'm a size 9 with wide feet, should I size up in these a .5 or a full size up?
I don't run at all, I wear boots all day everyday for work. My feet, especially my forefoot are in pain constantly. I've been searching for a sneaker that has extra cushioning in the forefoot. Sketchers max cushion go run are cushioned all they way through I work 10+ on my feet all day they got me about 6 months
I'm a US Mens 9.5 and had to go a full size up on the Infinity RN4's. A size 10 was still too snug for me.
On nike's web site what is considered regular size?
When you say a snug fit. Would you say the same for the gore Tex version? I’m trying to buy that version with that 30 dollar off rn
I personally like these over the invincible as I feel as though I’m sinking in the heel area in the invincible 3s
I have to get a pair now. Look so comfy 👀
Great video as always Hes! Also are u planning on reviewing the Asics gel Kayano 30?
Is it made for over pronators or is it a neutral?
I would go for the Invincibles for $20 more. I’d also like to see the 720’s come back.
I still have a pair of the 720s. It doesn’t need to come back
I have the invincible and luckily I got it for 119€ and now I cannot go back to any other shoe
@@michaeltran2743 still have mine too. I’d love or a new colorway. Missed my chance.
I found the 720 really comfortable for some reason
@@nikhildeshpande33what an absolute bargain!

Nike please give us a true replacement to the turbo 2's!
I'll wait to see if they put the technology into the Miler.

Amen. Only viable option is probably invincible.
Ok...good for you🤣👍
Try the gt jump 2, very sweet cushion set up, way better than the original gt jump
Pls do comparison of this against invincible 3 and ub light plssssssss
I want squishy and stable heel due to a bad ankle. Any recommendations, Hes?
Hoka arahi 6

The midsole is designed like that to provide inherent stability for over pronation. After, this is considered a stability shoe.

This shoe shares some similarities with Nike Motiva.
Run small? Crap. I just bought TTS. I hope they’re okay.
Thumbnail got a typo just a heads up
Preciate you Hes
I own a pair of Motivas, couldnt believe it was that cheap..
How is it? Thinking of buying Motiva or this Infinity RN4
Typo in your thumbnail. You said “Tired” instead of “Tried”
The midsole at the back acts as the heel counter.
Those heels are kinda sketchy. The way the midsole folds in on the outside. Could see some people hurting their ankles on uneven surfaces.
LOL at the dog shit on his shoe at 7:25 sorry had to
What is the name of the walking shoe?
Motiva

What's up with that super long tongue? Nike isn't making their uppers with a material that I like the looks of. Disappointing ....
