I believe it’s normal because I have that “ticking” sound as soon as I start the car. My car will be due for inspection, I will see what they say but so far my car has been driving good. I know Mazda is known for having the “ticking” sounds coming from the engine and that is stuck lifters. I never heard of a Camry having stuck lifter problems. I’ve only encountered problems to my Camry at 250k miles, anything before that doesn’t worry me
hey nice video of you surfing man. I hope you enjoyed. I had a question tho, I hear this tick every once in a while when coming to a full stop from a high speed. do you know what it could be or if its normal, I have the same vehicle as yours and have a test drive scheduled with the technicians but I just wanted to ask if you know something. its an actual tick and it instantly goes away, happens when coming to a stop from 60-80mph and happens around 15-30 mph range. a tick and it goes away instantly. im at 103,000 miles. thanks dude. id appreciate any feedback.
Honestly, once I think about it, it almost sounds like your fans are starting to work. They turn on then off depending on the heat. I could be wrong but have you tried turning the a/c off and listen to the ticking noise go away?
