Born catholic? Protestants persecute Christ? Clearly you understand nothing if you believe you were born catholic just as a gay claims they too were born that way. So, since one does not agree with the RCC they persecute Christ? This must be why you have a rich history in persecuting, torturing & murdering those who would not agree with you. The RCC didn't come to be until around 313 ad due to the 2 Roman emperors one of which was Constantine. It was set up just as the evil Roman empire. Since the apostles the true church spread way before the RCC, it continued although later persecuted and continually murdered right up to the day of the reformation. You are walked away from that history & taught the RCC was from day 1. You don't need me to school you, you know very well that a majority of your doctrine, teachings, ceremonies, rituals & traditions are not inspired by GOD's Holy infallible scripture & that does not include the Apocryphal writings. The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. The early Christians were Jewish but did not worship in the Jewish Temple as their religious affiliation was now Christian. Peter eventually left Israel and went to Rome by way of Antioch. Lactantius said Peter arrived in Rome during the reign of Nero (54-68 AD) and was martyred in Rome. Peter was the first Pope and has had 264 successors. God the Father sent Jesus, the Jewish Messiah to the Jews. Some Jews accepted Jesus and some rejected Him. The apostles and all the early converts to Christianity were Jewish.

Sorry, I departed from the roman catholic church when the roman emperor Constantine accepted christianity by intermingling its christ's teachings with the roman paganism more 300 AD. That was the beginning of worshipping idols making catholic church unbiblical causing the wrath of God.
@@auroralabustro8532 All Constantine did was make it illegal to kill Christians. The early Christians (the Catholics) did things that were SO DIFFERENT from the pagans. That's why they were persecuted. So that statement about Catholicism being pagan will always contradict itself. Worship is for God alone. There is no idol worship in the Catholic Church. Images are prayer aids and teaching aids (especially crucial in the early centuries when most people couldn't read), and they are NOT worshiped.
The earliest Christians had images in the catacombs. That's where Christians had to be in the early centuries during times of persecution. God said don't make "graven images" to be worshiped like the golden calf. And we don't. Protestants shouldn't need rock bands and cappuccinos in their "worship services." That's worshiping creation more than the Creator and only serving oneself with entertainment and treats. And it's just the Catholic Church, not the "RCC". Protestants made that term up and in our Protestant-dominated country, it stuck.

They are different "rites" within the church (meaning they may celebrate the Mass a little differently or in a different language depending on the rite), but they are all under the same roof and make up one Catholic Church.

The Byzantine right. And others. They all do share the same beliefs and are all under the Pope. But it's the Catholic church, not the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Rite is only a Rite. Not the whole church itself. Thus, the Catholic church is the original Church of Christ. As I showed in my video.

All of these rite are vaild and which is, though the bishop of Rome has a primacy, they make up the one Catholic Church, not reduced or restricted to one small area.

@@toyosioyejobi309 the church is the body of Christ, but made up also of teachers, preacher's, Deacon's, pastors, and apostles. In other words, there is a hierarchy of authority, which is why Jesus gave his Apostles and their followers his authority (Mt. 18:15-18; Jn. 20:21-23; Mt. 16:18-19, etc.)

I'd argue the Bible does mention the title "pope" - Pope comes from the word "papa" in Italian which means "Father" - If you go to Isaiah 22, Eliakhim when he becomes the Master of the Palace and is given the Key of the House of David, was to be a "Father"/"Papa"/"Pope" - In Matthew 16, Jesus gives Peter the Keys of the Kingdom, echoing Isaiah 22 meaning that Peter was to be a Father/Pope of the Church.

He also said pharisees were sons of devil so that means he is their father. God was the father of the devil too but the devil chose to go the evil way. Ohmm, everyone will claim to be clinging to faith in Jesus. But is their claim really true. Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice. Jesus told His disciples that only if they held on to His teaching, would they be His TRUE DISCIPLES. Examine from your Bible and compare the scripture with the teachings and traditions that your church - the Roman Catholic Church holds onto. You will see that there are major deviations and contradictions. I was baptized and confirmed June 2020, and I have no regrets. Even before I became Catholic, every time I went to Mass, it felt like home. I love being a Catholic and I’m always blessed when attending Mass. I always feel the presence of the Holy Trinity. I understand way better about the Blessed Virgin Mary, she’s my patron saint, well one of them. I love how every service, there’s the Holy Communion. Peace be with you.
Respectfully sir, in Matt 16 18 there is a play of words going on in the greek language. Peters name is Petros which translates to a stone (John 1:42), ie a small rock. While the "rock" which he will build his church on is the word Petra, which is a much larger rock like a cliff, something massive. So clearly Jesus is referring to himself in this verse (see also 1 Cor 10:4 where we are told Petra is referring to Christ) and not Peter, although the English translation may give that impression.
If you had watched the video, we answered the "play on words," of which there really isn't any because Jesus didn't speak Greek. He spoke Aramaic and it's clear that Peter is the Rock, espcially since Jesus changed Peter's name to Rock and gave him the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus even calls Peter Rock in the New Testament. He addresses Peter as Cephas (as does Paul) which means rock.

I've argued Matt 16:18 with Protestants (I used to be one for 40 years) and the linguistic gymnastics they perform to get around Jesus establishing His Church with Peter as the head is nothing short of astounding.

God would not build his church on man because we are unreliable. But he built his church on the faith that peter had knowing that Jesus was the messiah, the Son of God.

While the language has certain changed, the office and all that it means has never changed. Also, the sinfulness of the church has never been a disqualifying factor. Did Peter started by claiming the building is a church? Did he claim to be the pope? Did Peter ask u to honor Mary instead of Jesus as primary? Peter is not catholic. That is on the early church fathers and their beliefs, showing that they were Catholic. or if you want a more in-depth reading of the early fathers there is a three volume set by William Jurgens called, The Faith of the Early Fathers." Or if you want more of a general church history, you could get a very short overview in the book, "A Short History of the Catholic Church," by Alan Schreck. and if you want a more in-depth understanding of the early church in general, I highly recommend the book by Warren Caroll, "The Founding of Christendom" (Volume 1). And the people who lived and knew the apostles and the teaching that came before it was written down understand the context and how to properly interpret it. Man I’m so blessed that Christ my Lord and Savior never gave up on me and gave me the wisdom to see that the Catholic church is the one true church. I had so many doubts and rebelled, I would be brainwashed by the protestant arguments, but in the end, I would always do my own research and it always led me to the correct answer. The RCC didn't come to be until around 313 ad due to the 2 Roman emperors one of which was Constantine. It was set up just as the evil Roman empire.
Since the apostles the true church spread way before the RCC, it continued although later persecuted and continually murdered right up to the day of the reformation. You are walked away from that history & taught the RCC was from day 1. You don't need me to school you, you know very well that a majority of your doctrine, teachings, ceremonies, rituals & traditions are not inspired by GOD's Holy infallible scripture & that does not include the Apocryphal writings. Your rich history of deciet, wars, persecutions, beatings, murders and sexual immorality of pedifilia by nuns & priests and the large majority of homosexuality in your rule goes ignored by you. It is clear that the RCC iscthe seat ofvthe anti christ that you hold your allegiance to & not Christ alone who is our ONLY Mediator to our ONLY HOLY FATHER.

The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. The early Christians were Jewish but did not worship in the Jewish Temple as their religious affiliation was now Christian. Peter eventually left Israel and went to Rome by way of Antioch. Lactantius said Peter arrived in Rome during the reign of Nero (54-68 AD) and was martyred in Rome. Peter was the first Pope and has had 264 successors.
God the Father sent Jesus, the Jewish Messiah to the Jews. Some Jews accepted Jesus and some rejected Him. The apostles and all the early converts to Christianity were Jewish.

Sorry, I departed from the roman catholic church when the roman emperor Constantine accepted christianity by intermingling its christ's teachings with the roman paganism more 300 AD. That was the beginning of worshipping idols making catholic church unbiblical causing the wrath of God.

Worship is for God alone. There is no idol worship in the Catholic Church. Images are prayer aids and teaching aids (especially crucial in the early centuries when most people couldn't read), and they are NOT worshiped.

The earliest Christians had images in the catacombs. That's where Christians had to be in the early centuries during times of persecution. God said don't make "graven images" to be worshiped like the golden calf. And we don't. Protestants shouldn't need rock bands and cappuccinos in their "worship services." That's worshiping creation more than the Creator and only serving oneself with entertainment and treats. And it's just the Catholic Church, not the "RCC". Protestants made that term up and in our Protestant-dominated country, it stuck.

That doesn't make it the French Catholic Church. The Church is universal and applies to all people. There are Syrian Catholics, Marionite Catholics, Byzantine Catholics, and more. All of these rite are vaild and which is, though the bishop of Rome has a primacy, they make up the one Catholic Church, not reduced or restricted to one small area.

I'm an ex Muslim, and I surrendered my life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I'd argue the Bible does mention the title "pope" - Pope comes from the word "papa" in Italian which means "Father" - If you go to Isaiah 22, Eliakhim when he becomes the Master of the Palace and is given the Key of the House of David, was to be a "Father"/"Papa"/"Pope" - In Matthew 16, Jesus gives Peter the Keys of the Kingdom, echoing Isaiah 22 meaning that Peter was to be a Father/Pope of the Church.

I was baptized and confirmed June 2020, and I have no regrets. Even before I became Catholic, every time I went to Mass, it felt like home. I love being a Catholic and I’m always blessed when attending Mass. I always feel the presence of the Holy Trinity. Respectfully sir, in Matt 16 18 there is a play of words going on in the greek language. Peters name is Petros which translates to a stone (John 1:42), ie a small rock. While the "rock" which he will build his church on is the word Petra, which is a much larger rock like a cliff, something massive. So clearly Jesus is referring to himself in this verse (see also 1 Cor 10:4 where we are told Petra is referring to Christ) and not Peter, although the English translation may give that impression.
If you had watched the video, we answered the "play on words," of which there really isn't any because Jesus didn't speak Greek. He spoke Aramaic and it's clear that Peter is the Rock, espcially since Jesus changed Peter's name to Rock and gave him the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus even calls Peter Rock in the New Testament. He addresses Peter as Cephas (as does Paul) which means rock.

@@minterbell The Pope is the leader of the church under Christ. Peter was named leader by Christ Himself, as the first amongst equals. While the language has certain changed, the office and all that it means has never changed.
Also, the sinfulness of the church has never been a disqualifying factor. The Apostles themselves were quite sinful, especially Paul. Jesus does not call the righteous, but sinners.

Jesus is the ultimate Rock, but he clearly makes Peter the Rock on earth and the visible head of the Church, the same "evil" Catholic Church that chose the canon of the New Testament under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, who copied the Bible for over 1000 years, and who protected it and translated it until the time of the Printing Press. In other words, God worked through this "satanic" Catholic Church for over a 1000 years to give the world the Bible. Did Peter started by claiming the building is a church? Did he claim to be the pope? Did Peter ask u to honor Mary instead of Jesus as primary? Peter is not catholic. He pointed people to honor God and God only. He spoke of Jesus as the messiah. He spoke of the good News. Not any other but the teaching of Christ Jesus.
If God needed just another leader, why not maìntain the old jewish priesthood? Why bother to sacrifice His son? The point please?

"The Father's Know Best" by Jimmy Akin. That is on the early church fathers and their beliefs, showing that they were Catholic. or if you want a more in-depth reading of the early fathers there is a three volume set by William Jurgens called, The Faith of the Early Fathers." Or if you want more of a general church history, you could get a very short overview in the book, "A Short History of the Catholic Church," by Alan Schreck. and if you want a more in-depth understanding of the early church in general, I highly recommend the book by Warren Caroll, "The Founding of Christendom" (Volume 1). And the people who lived and knew the apostles and the teaching that came before it was written down understand the context and how to properly interpret it. That's why the Bible alone doesn't work and why we have thousands and thousands of different denominations. You have made your own personal but false interpretation that this is referring to the Catholic Church when it refers to Pagan Rome. Moreover, the Catholic Church doesn't teach any false doctrines. That is only your assertion, and a false one. It is non-Catholics that teach false doctrines, the bible alone, faith alone, and more. Man I’m so blessed that Christ my Lord and Savior never gave up on me and gave me the wisdom to see that the Catholic church is the one true church. I had so many doubts and rebelled, I would be brainwashed by the protestant arguments, but in the end, I would always do my own research and it always led me to the correct answer.
