unfortunately a whole lot of nothing, but it's as expected really. also, i don't understand sega's obsession with limited time quests instead of adding permanent, replayable, and rewarding/fun content
Even one non-ltq sort of addition per month would be preferable to four ltq (one per week). They can experiment sometimes with just random ideas in ltqs, but it doesn't do any good until the fruits of that experimentation are put into something lasting.
LTQs are a chance for them to experiment with things. If it is successful, it MAY get implemented on a more permanent basis, or it is something that has a higher chance to be reused, like with the anniversary LTQ. The main problem with doing something on a permanent basis is that it requires a lot more work to implement and maintain. See the issue they had with Rayord Gorge last week? That was because they added an environmental mechanic as well as adding some new elements and it caused conflicts. Easy enough to see the cause, not so easy to modify for something that is not instanced. The Nex and Dustyl Vera LTQs are instanced content, meaning they are discrete and not a permanent fixture to the world. Even then, early iterations can be.... problematic for some systems as the resource calls get smoothed out. Playable content creation for online games can be simple or easy. Pick one, you will rarely have both. Perhaps it's from having more than two decades of playing MMOs under my belt. Every issue you can complain about, I have seen. Many, many, many, times. In every MMO I have played, with no exception. And I have played MMOs since Everquest.
Quick reminder that is still a heavily focused asian-playerbase game, and they do LOVE limited time things that can be farmed non-stop. They play around the FOMO with the slight difference that there's nothing to miss out.
lol seriously, the game needs serious changes but the most you'll get is a class updates every few months, some new limited time quests, and ac scratches. don't forget raising the level cap for no reason and not adding worthwhile content.
One of the main problems with NGS is there isnt a real way for folks that play on Global to give input about our problems or even questions. None of the questions they choose to answer in the Headline seem important to the way the game operates. There is no way that I believe that not one person has asked about trading, bringing back actual weapons and armor that had lore, viewable armors, urgent quest schedule, the ability to do multiple urgents, just things that really matter. I love the gameplay and there are times where the flow of the game is incredible! When you get a group together and yall are just demolishing enemies and the level youre at actually feels high! I just wish there was a way for the Global players to really get their voices heard.
I believe the questions they put on the Headline are cherry picked for what they are going to be doing relatively soon for the game or at least have an answer for. While the rest of the things you mentioned would be nice to get definite answers for, to Sega it's not going to be implemented anytime soon or not at all so it's not worth mentioning at the time since there is a limited amount of time for the Operation Report for each Headline From what I have seen, Twitter and the Official Discord are the best to voice opinions but do keep in mind, everyone has an opinion and there are a lot
I’ve edited my CS very extensively, and love it, but haven’t done much in a while because you only have the one permanent space, and like many, I don’t want to delete it in order to experiment with a new idea. More than anything I’d like to have some way to get to do another space without being a premium player. The PSO2 room option of having an in-game ticket you could keep buying to re-open your saved layout also worked for me, since it was easy enough to just get a ticket whenever I wanted to enter. Material storage is similarly easy enough for me to maintain even though I don’t play constantly. When it comes to difficulty, I think they need to upgrade the challenge of ‘normal’ content more often. I think it’s important for players to be able to experience the frying pan of challenging mechanics, attack patterns and damage parameters without being thrown into in the strict death-limiting, tight-DPS-demanding fire. Normal content doesn’t need to be easy, it just needs to be forgiving in the sense that you won’t have your time completely wasted if you’re still working your way up. For example, I don’t think ancients should ever have had a damage reduction. They’re 32-man affairs; no big deal if people die a lot. I think they are, and have been, way too mired in the minutia of drop/reward parameters to make time worth spending instead of having new experiences acting as the main draw. I honestly think it’d be better to have an easier gear-upgrading process and more frequent content additions paired with occasional upgrade options for people to benefit from work they’ve put in on previous content. A sense of long-term progress implied by story that actually goes somewhere and new scenarios for gameplay including new bosses and mechanics to deal with will still do more for retaining attention.
What is the incentive for doing “ultra difficult” content. It needs to drop the best weapons and units. Not a title and some sg. That’s not enough of a reason to invest the time and energy in upgrading gear, learning the fight ect.
I think they meant the 10* drop rate is higher compared to when Tisah dropped at release. Probably translation things lol... but yeah I farmed duel quest & made 100m Meseta to buy a Tisah rifle, but it was so rare it wasn't even on the market. So even with the meseta i couldn't get one coz it wasn't dropping. That right there made me take a break from NGS at the time.
Eh, doesn't bother me all that much either way. If I get it, cool. If not, oh well. I've played too many MMOs over the years to get overly bent out of shape on this, I have seen far worse drop rates for stuff that wasn't even as rare as the Tisah's tier is going to be. Drop rates that were as low as one in five million. From one monster. Where there is only one in the entire game world. And only one person gets loot when it requires an entire raid to kill it. Yeah, old school MMOs were bastards like that.
Please don’t misunderstand I love pso but the current systems are flawed. LC isn’t really a fix imo because the power isn’t great ultimately you’ll end up just being a carry. BiS augs pretty much have a paywall because the method to obtaining them is so roundabout and annoying power grind shouldn’t take as much time as an actual job. So you put hours on top of hours into grinding for the gear itself, upgrading the gear(materials and meseta) then you have to put hours on top of hours into farming for a plethora of capsules to craft ONE augment with a 7% chance of working? What’s the alternative? buy them? For some augs that’s 7-10mil for one piece of gear depending on the support items you have. Everyone isn’t a whale so thats a problem 😂 CUT the middle ground for obtaining BiS augs and just let people grind for the EXACT augs they need not pieces. Or add efficient ways to make money in NGS, go back and look at base. It wasn’t an ass load of funds a week but it damn added up. TAs/EX quest client orders a week, the dailies gave out more meseta a day ect.
What they don’t seem to understand about the “drop rate” is that when you have TOO MUCH SHIT in the loot pool that counter acts any rdr increases you do IF they even did any increases lol the current ltq STILL dropping year 1 loot is a problem 😂 loot needs to be level locked
This is the exact thing I talk about everytime I hear “rdr is a lie” it’s exactly this. Rdr doesn’t increase individual items rate, it boosts your rate for loot, which in turn means every damn thing under sun. The pool just gets bigger so to speak. I personally think it has adverse effects because of this. Most of my best drops have been when I forgot to get a buff or was lacking max available rdr buff. Sometimes none at all.
PSO2 is starting to feel like every single thing has has evil gravity imbued into it to work against you at all times and im starting to get fed up. Its a fun enough game to play without all the BS limitations that are ser for the sole purpose of greed. If there was a hex editor to use that could get away with i would use it. More and more like Tower of Fantasy every day. Take your LC augments and stuff em too. Heres your just good enough augments for regular players to get by. My rant is over. I like this channel its very informative with great info by the way. Sega should take a few pages out of your book.
There are so many things I can rant on about NGS, but I guess this time I feel like saying that I think Sega needs to look at removing or fixing some things rather than always trying to add new solutions. For example, like you and probably most others, I hate that gear needs so much investment to fully upgrade/augment/etc. One way to help lessen that would be to simply reduce the maximum enhancement level (and/or the exp required to reach it) and Limit Breaking required, and rebalance ATK values around that. But the Sega 'fix' would probably be to introduce Gold Primm Sword III and Endymio II, or add more Myonin to get more LB mats, or something like that. And Endymio was a good addition, but then why do Gold Primm Sword/Armor IIs still drop in current content instead of Endymio directly? That would be a nice QoL change but I'm guessing Sega's too lazy to fix loot tables to make sense. (Which is why a lv 80+ LTQ drops 3-star gear.) And I think the game could have a lot more worthwhile content if they just kept the content that they do have relevant, instead of implementing a LTQ every week.. I still think Trinitas could be a very solid foundation for an end-game activity with just a few tweaks (like some more randomness and relevant rewards), or using Trinitas' technology to make new content (i.e. imagine something like a purple trigger or Ordinal Tower where you fight 5 random bosses, and can apply Trinitas/Cocoon style modifiers)... I think Sega's actually added a fair bit of content to NGS, but much of it is either obsoleted shortly after or only existed in the game for a week, which I feel is such a wrong way to spend development time...
Im on ship 4, and i see a ton of creative space activity, myself included. I think it's a great creative aspect of the game. You just have to look for it. The feature they just added by finding CS by looking at characters makes it so much easier than just relying on the featured list. I will say we need more space because a lot of people have unfinished CS because of the item placement limit. Other than that, i think its a great way for people to enjoy the game in their downtime!
Just to be that annoying person but housing in 14 is less of an auction and more of a lottery. You just put in one bid and pray you're picked out of the 200+ other people there as well. Felt like I'd clarify since you said you weren't super familiar.
200+? Only if you're on a mega-populated world trying to get a popular housing plot like the ones in Lavendar Beds or Mist, lol. Otherwise on average you'd be up against 20 ish people, and some times even less than that(I was only against one other person and won my small a year ago).
@@Gillian_FFXIV Youll see hundreds these days on mediums and larges in any DC outside of Dynamis. Smalls are also an obvious exception since most have no interest in those (I won my small 50/50 a couple months ago on Crystal but the medium I bid on last round ended with around 105ish bids.) It's why people complain a lot now that there's a housing shortage when there actually isn't, people just want mediums and larges lol.
Sega will never change reward to difficulty. Back in 2014 - 2017 they tried it and there was a big back lash from the casual audience . They put the BiS augs and weapons into the hardest content. Casuals were upset and there was a massive decline in players. Sega changed that in future where the easiest content will award the BiS while the hardest content will give a title and cosmetics.
I'm not saying all the best in slot equipment needs to be in high difficulty content but it definitely needs to be better than 1 single augment that you can get multiple of instead in an easier quest Sega needs to find a balance to try and make both the casual & hardcore audience happy. I know it would be hard to do but as it stands, most people don't care to do the hard content because it isn't worth doing in the first place
Palworld much fun to craft and it not feel like empty like NGS i got Pokemon working at my farm...i mean pals pals gosh ...and NGS creative space is so hard to build house not much option we got it not as easy like in Palworld even though it have limited option to create a house..SEGA should make creative space user frendly and with much option or add option moving NPC so our house is not feel empty
@bacherfkinmcskiddlywop2491 yeah back to PSO2 we got this little NPC go hunting for us it also part of daily guest so i don,t need to do that daily quest lets the NPC do it i just check the resoult is it done or not but i always encounter that little tiny NPC in the feild asking for help it trigger quest
PALWORLD absolutely W . we have slave, pso2ngs??? we are slave, I mean if I want to make lux halphinale it's need a lot bullshit to combine, and especially halphinale itself wtf right? so I will get my halphinale 3 years leter? how stupid and absolutely pain in my ass LMAO
Sadly I mostly farm raw mesta. I do create caps maybe 2 a week and play like 40 hours. Just doesn't feel like there is a decent way now to farm mesta. He makes a good point on cost, maybe that is where my feelings come from. Maybe making caps drop from a level of content, get a chance to have an aegis soul iv drop from 80 plus enemies, cause the guaranteed 3 per uq dark falz is just not enough.
The jet boots players (and even me as a sympathiser having identified literally all of its presently widely-accepted issues before predictively ditching the weapon in 2021) were upset because it's VERY obvious where the weapon's issues lie and what needs to be changed, and the "Bouncer" renewal did almost nothing other than makes its attacks sparkle a little more. It's the "elemental down" weapon that does next to no elemental down, absolutely zero in all of its signature attacks. It's the "aerial combat" weapon that plummets to the ground instantly after almost every attack. It's the "technique hybrid" weapon whose techniques have been completely left in the dust by several regions worth of new rod skills. It's the "does everything" weapon that does everything terribly and needs the joint-most number of different subpalette actions (alongside Techter's wand) just to be played, leaving most players not willing to care when gunblade does everything in just two subpalette slots. Its main gain in the "Bouncer Renewal" was an overpowered Jetsweep Jolt, which forces the optimal play to often be building up and repeating that as often as possible, and it'll likely stay that way until everything else gets buffed to overtake its raw potency just like everything was in early 2022, leaving jet boots once again as a weapon that's needlessly complicated to play for no better outcome than the ease of gunblade. ...oh, and they were upset because knowing we're probably cylcling through all 10 classes and 18 weapons, jet boots probably won't get another chance for their VERY needed salvation until late 2025 or early 2026.
It would be really nice to see more cosmetics drop as quest rewards only movements from triggers? I mean why? Alot of this game is showing up but not doing good work.
I already told in my alliance chat that I'm resting from NGS. One big factor that surely will bring me back is when NGS decides to change the augment system and fixa system so we all can have different builds and so half of our storage will be free from 90% of trash augments. It is really easy to fix this, just put up a machine in which players can deposit their augments to exchange it for random different augments. I am also hoping to see specialized abiliy augments e.g. increase Fear Eraser Potency by 10% or something like increase normal attack dmg by 20% - damn the market place would so much be a better place to see what people have for sale and that will lead to more people to do hunting and testing and the system goes on and on for fun endgame. There's so much more areas for the game's improvements but yeah I'm just no one and SEGA won't bother to notice players. I hope you creators can make the difference. Cheers!
I like your idea of augments that boost the potential of specific attacks/PAs, but then the devs should technically make sure that the augment can only be put on a weapon that has that specific PA. I've seen multiple casual players wasting augment slots, like putting Might and Technique augments on a rifle, and the game should somehow prevent that.
@@alcyonecougar2570 maybe to solve this, augments should be detachable but not sellable on the market. Similar to how monster hunter jewel/decors work. What you think?
I feel that fam. Like let’s looks at Gran Blue Relink’s end game Sigils system. Sure you NEED damage cap (potency) but there’s other utility and unique Sigils that you can slap in that are dependent upon different characters which makes every build unique. Sure most builds can be the same but it doesn’t work on every subclass. Plus farming instanced bosses is actually fun woah crazy just like base pso2. Lol. NGS was trying too hard to jump onto the open world hype and really needs to dive a tad bit back into its roots. Until it does that, it’s not going anywhere.
@@Keifer-- Yes, I have always been comparing the battle that you get in Gran Blue, even Monster Hunter, imagine having only few skills to pull off, but the hits feel good and no one even bother to tell capcom to add more skills anymore, players are satisfied. Now, NGS has the verticality battle and exploration, means NGS's ceiling of having a better gameplay is actually high. I'll wait for it~
@@xGinZero 100% still waiting for it. i loved how when Etoile, Phantom, Luster, and hero were released there were SO many skills to choose from. of course theres your optimal skills, sure. But NGS has LITERALLY 4 SKILLS. and RIP wand users for skills(yeah sure they have a bajillion techs but specifically weapon skills they lack). the potency of these skills doesnt scale yet either so like, interesting as well. ngs could deff benefit from instanced dungeons, not just uqs lol, and more skills. its been long enough. give the people what they want sega plz :C
Also I feel it is the veteran players who should give advice on augmenting newer players geat, I've seen techters using precision augments like. "OH bless your heart cmere let me show you what you did wrong"
Giving advice is great for veteran players to do but at the same time, the game should care about teaching the players just as much if not more. Sega should definitely step up at least in teaching about the foundations of NGS with stats, loot, and various other integral mechanics
@CriticasterQ that is true. I'm thinking of when I started playing pso2 before ngs where Sega just kind of throws you in like "here sink or swim" and had to learn the game from others. It left alot to be desired as far as tutorials, but that gave an opportunity to meet a lot of ppl too. I just figured that was segas way of trying to build a community
For a player new to NGS the learning curve is tremendous. There are too many currencies and too many "gates and hurdles" to navigate to make your player competitive from a gear perspective and there needs to be tutorials on how to play each class.
Ship transfer shouldn’t be a thing I think we should be able to visit other ships but all our stuff stays on our home ship except the gear we are currently wearing but we can help other ships but can’t use the storage force people to stay on their home ships
I love creative space, but the the systems around it are really bad. Theres no way to filter by rating or views. A lot of the featured creative spaces are basic houses or giant holes in the island to get to water. I’ve spent like 30 hours on my island making everything to my liking but theres no liking system and no way for people to see my island unless I advertise or they stumble upon my tags…
LTQ quests are a reskin of previous content, it's 0 effort and development. All the efforts they put right now into development are just new cosmetics, voice acting, a little continuation of the main story, some collabs to earn more money and that’s it. Instead of truly new content in the game, we're just going back to the shithole Kvaris that has bothered many in the past, especially for farming resources for weapons and armor, which we'll just throw away in a month because new ones will appear as before. But recently, they have been launching many different sales and discounts for purchasing AC, not to mention the abundance of various AC scratches. It feels like they are trying their best to make as much money as possible before closing down the NGS or I hope there is a chance that they want to get more money from sales to develop a new interesting content, which is highly doubtful.
Ive gotten 1 relik in the wild but multiple tisah and flugards. The drop rate in this game is abysmal... Ive stopped farming most content because it just isnt fun... By the timeni get something its already time to replace it.
If you dislike what they do, why don't you just help them out by telling them/giving advice? You're just separating them via alienation, where they will be with people they cannot learn with yet you as an advance player can teach them how to advance. This would work if the game was large, and not small but you're making it smaller for new player.
Because some people hate being told what to do. I've seen people block others for giving advice about how to farm pse efficiently. The exact same goes for gearing as well. Can't really give support unless someone is willing enough to take it.
As long as they still continue like this the game is just keep dying tbh NGS is the only rpg that not encourage people to farming at all (which is reverse of all mmo/rpg) which is bs in my opinion Most of hardcore players in mmo/rpg are all the same they want to do the race gear to gain the profit, want to max gears to having a big different vs average in the dps race those are just not happened in NGS they also hugging the newbies too much and kinda disrespect the oldbies by - Massive buff rate at super rare weapon series that de-value it really fast (tisah is 1k now, flugard also not even 1m/e when it first release it's like 180m+/e and it's just few months) - Making sure win weapon series that even stronger than super rare series at the same rarity (the reyaar series vs flugard recently) - There's no profit for maxing gear, you got almost nothing from the super hard contents and it's skipable (solus, dfa r2, dfi r2) - The LC augs only have tiny different (0.25% each) in power when compare to end game augs with the same series and it's just very easy to farm without spending any resource - Giving too strong free gears (first is the agrenti series, then free termina 2 versch that can you can up to termina 4-5) so what's the point of farming and maxing gear ? because - It ll become trash very fast - Having no profit to gain meseta back - Become a carrier in every contents for nothing - Comp contents (ark record) also having no profit also because of this you can see alot of players in this game... - Not willing to upgrade gears, spent all on cosmestic and just join UQ so others have to carry them - Saying the game "have no content" when using free/under power gears It's a good news that HMKZ and YSOK got replace and Kimura is back, those two guys as director and item maker is just destroy the game tbh. Hope that Kimura can make a come back for NGS

I don't see that happening. And if it does, it's not going to happen any time soon. PSO2 is an Asian MMO, they get off on screwing with players.

(Which is why a lv 80+ LTQ drops 3-star gear.)
And I think the game could have a lot more worthwhile content if they just kept the content that they do have relevant, instead of implementing a LTQ every week..
If they Make a transfer system where you can move all your augment and 75% of your enhancement
The mistake they did is not making the option to place a prebuilt house or structures as an option for new players so they dont get overwhelmed.
After this video I now believe Popona is Kimura in secret and that Kimura's laugh is "teehee". Thank you for this video.
easy way to fix gearing. go back to how pso handled gear make sure each weapon/shield has its uniqueness and is always usefull :/
@@Gillian_FFXIV
Youll see hundreds these days on mediums and larges in any DC outside of Dynamis.
Ah gotcha, that is much worse than I thought lol
Sega will never change reward to difficulty. Back in 2014 - 2017 they tried it and there was a big back lash from the casual audience . They put the BiS augs and weapons into the hardest content. Casuals were upset and there was a massive decline in players. Sega changed that in future where the easiest content will award the BiS while the hardest content will give a title and cosmetics.
I'm not saying all the best in slot equipment needs to be in high difficulty content but it definitely needs to be better than 1 single augment that you can get multiple of instead in an easier quest
Sega needs to find a balance to try and make both the casual & hardcore audience happy.
"The whales eat everything up, THE WHALES..."
Nintendo likes everything to be easy... SEGA needs to remember that SEGA does what Nintendon't!!

Ship transfer shouldn’t be a thing I think we should be able to visit other ships but all our stuff stays on our home ship except the gear we are currently wearing but we can help other ships but can’t use the storage force people to stay on their home ships
i have a LOTTA tisah weapons from this past week but reyaar is impossible so far i even got some flugelgard weapons too within 4 days
I spent a while in CS when they released, first days of the first week and NEVER again.
There's absolutely no reason behind CS.
I afk in my CS or ACS. So technically time spent isn't a good gauge either. Be better just to ask the players and talley it
Dark Phallus Saurus
I wish you could delete cs quests. Idc about it, and it is everywhere.
Let's not forget your 0% potency build. 😂 I still wanna do that leciel run
Can we get at least 2 free personal shops slots Jc I don’t care it’s unfair
I love creative space, but the the systems around it are really bad. Theres no way to filter by rating or views. A lot of the featured creative spaces are basic houses or giant holes in the island to get to water. I’ve spent like 30 hours on my island making everything to my liking but theres no liking system and no way for people to see my island unless I advertise or they stumble upon my tags…
This aint the sim bro remember that
LTQ quests are a reskin of previous content, it's 0 effort and development.
If the game is causal enough why do we need so much upgrading and investing augments ? And too much calculation, we don't need this
Ive gotten 1 relik in the wild but multiple tisah and flugards. The drop rate in this game is abysmal... Ive stopped farming most content because it just isnt fun... By the timeni get something its already time to replace it.
*PromoSM*
If you dislike what they do, why don't you just help them out by telling them/giving advice?
You're just separating them via alienation, where they will be with people they cannot learn with
yet you as an advance player can teach them how to advance. This would work if the game was large, and not small but you're making it smaller for new player.
Because some people hate being told what to do. I've seen people block others for giving advice about how to farm pse efficiently. The exact same goes for gearing as well. Can't really give support unless someone is willing enough to take it.
@@ClassXero There is a difference in telling people what to do, and giving advice
@RaeNeptune I know that but still, giving advice to people might not be welcomed or appreciated as ppl will want to do things their own way.
this game is so dead only have1500 players. what a joke.
As long as they still continue like this the game is just keep dying tbh
NGS is the only rpg that not encourage people to farming at all (which is reverse of all mmo/rpg) which is bs in my opinion
Most of hardcore players in mmo/rpg are all the same they want to do the race gear to gain the profit, want to max gears to having a big different vs average in the dps race
those are just not happened in NGS
they also hugging the newbies too much and kinda disrespect the oldbies by
- Massive buff rate at super rare weapon series that de-value it really fast (tisah is 1k now, flugard also not even 1m/e when it first release it's like 180m+/e and it's just few months)
- Making sure win weapon series that even stronger than super rare series at the same rarity (the reyaar series vs flugard recently)
- There's no profit for maxing gear, you got almost nothing from the super hard contents and it's skipable (solus, dfa r2, dfi r2)
- The LC augs only have tiny different (0.25% each) in power when compare to end game augs with the same series and it's just very easy to farm without spending any resource
- Giving too strong free gears (first is the agrenti series, then free termina 2 versch that can you can up to termina 4-5)
so what's the point of farming and maxing gear ? because
- It ll become trash very fast
- Having no profit to gain meseta back
- Become a carrier in every contents for nothing
- Comp contents (ark record) also having no profit
also because of this you can see alot of players in this game...
- Not willing to upgrade gears, spent all on cosmestic and just join UQ so others have to carry them
- Saying the game "have no content" when using free/under power gears
It's a good news that HMKZ and YSOK got replace and Kimura is back, those two guys as director and item maker is just destroy the game tbh.
Hope that Kimura can make a come back for NGS
HMZK is gone? Where'd you get this?
there's no news that daiki hamazaki left pscrew or sega, YSOK left sega to work at a different company
@@shimapanzer9930he's now series director so basically he's not direct things at NGS anymore
NGS has no future. At least on Xbox since they shutdown the Xbox servers yesterday
