Been there decades ago, still remember the ten falls as the most spectacular, breathtaking sights in Oregon. Physical limitations prevent me from returning. I thank you very much for going and recording so I can see it once more. Wet, yes, I remember wet!
Never get tired of this hike. Just went about 2 weeks ago on another rainy day. Thankful that we only have a 50 minute drive and can take a weekday off for a crowd free experience. Thank you for this video!
So so glad that you enjoyed silver falls. It’s one our family’s favorites. Thank you for representing Oregon so well. It’s so awesome to see you guys in my state!
This is the best freaking channel on youtube!! I found u guys a few days ago and this video inspired me so much. I am a landscape photographer in CA myself and have been to several spots in your videos. My 50th bday is coming up in July and this video has got me thinking I need to go travel through Oregon for the occasion
I was so glad to see you were able to visit Silver Falls! It's such a gem. So funny story, when I was pregnant with boy #3 we lived outside of Salem, and I was set to deliver in Corvallis. When I was 6 days over due we went to SF and hiked South Falls. I ended up going in labor the very next day and delivering him in under 2 hours. He was my quickest baby at 7 days overdue, the older 2 were both 10 days and #4 topped out at 15 days overdue. However, my Dr did not find it funny at all. I thought I was walking that baby out, but she was horrified. She asked me what I would have done if I'd gone into labor on the hike. I said that was what park rangers were for, right?!!! haha, she was not amused. I still think it was that super big hill that did it for me, and the parking garage stairs here in Texas just didn't work as well for #4 :) Glad you got the window but bummer on the windshield!!!
I live in Silverton and we have been fans of Silver Falls State Park for as long as I can remember. We used this trail as our "gear test" in preparation for a section hike of the PCT (rain and sun).. Hiking, biking, camping, yurts, cabins and fantastic meeting halls - not to mention the lodge and the staff. Truly a gem.
Thank you for highlighting OR’s beauty! And bounty of delicious food 😋 I was born in OR and lived there 15yrs. Now 22yrs later I still consider Oregon my home, and always will. ❤️LOL I’m thankful for the elves, too 👍😊
We love hiking to waterfalls; never have I seen a hike like this one!! Definitely checking it out some day! Congrats on the 100K!!!! Y’all have worked so hard & it’s super exciting to see others realized what a gem y’all are!!!🎉
I did this hike about 20 years ago and I was dumbfounded by there being so many waterfalls and such a wide variety within one loop! Thanks for sharing another fabulous adventure and congrats on 100K!
Its been 3 months since I've watched your videos....😢my husband and i use to grab our coffees in the weekend and watch your videos. My husband passed away on Jan 3rd and i just haven't been able to watch any of our shows till today. We both went to Oregon a couple of times and im going in May with family in his memory....thank you for all the beauty you guys share with us all. ❤️
What a beautiful hike! So many waterfalls and so much beauty. I was amazed at the moss and greenery everywhere. Have fun y’all. Thanks for the video! 👏
Grew up in the Oregon Cascades and would drive to Silver Falls every summer for our family picnic. We would “swim” in the creek, play behind the water falls, and spend the day eating and enjoying our natural playground. What a joy to see this through your eyes. Thumbs up from your Oregon buddy. 😊 Sugar Pine is one of my favorite places - so glad you tried their ice cream - made my mouth water.
You know what I like!!! Brad loves him some waterfalls!!! I about couldn’t contain myself when I saw this beauty drop! How awesome is that park with all of those gorgeous waterfalls!!!! Wow, I could spend a week there! Side note, the way you describe your food makes me smile every time. 😁
I've been watching your videos for the past year, and I just want to say that I absolutely love them all! You guys are so refreshingly authentic compared to a lot of other travel youtubers that might put clickbait-y titles for their videos or focus on big travel stuff. I enjoy seeing how you really emphasize the nature around you, and also highlight the lesser-known attractions like state parks or wilderness trails that are just as beautiful as the big-name places like national parks. I 100% live vicariously through your travels so keep up the great content :)
Thank you so much, Derek! That means a lot to us! We do like to emphasize the beauty around us and our experience at off the beaten path places that we truly enjoy. Thanks again! ❤️
That was a great video of some gorgeous falls! Thanks for getting drenched to show us such a beautiful hike (I love to see moss on hikes…it makes it look like a scene from a fairytale)! Oh did your lunch look so yummy! That chunky ice cream was over the top delicious looking! Thanks for including Konie too❣️ Looking forward to your surprise video! Keep traveling safe!
The waterfalls were super gorgeous! We'll power through a soaking to capture these waterfalls! The lunch was spectacular...especially the ice cream! Konie Bear says hello!
thanks for spotlighting this park...looks like the perfect family hike for us. If we ever make it I'm definitely telling the kids its the elves that carved out the trails.
The Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park was the bomb! Not only were the falls spectacularly awesome but the trees, rocks, and river was beautiful too. You both made me hungry watching you scarf down those yummy lunches and ice cream desserts at Sugarpine. Jenny
Just want you guys to know that this video inspired my husband and I to do a bonsai run to Silver Falls (from Phoenix OR) and hike the Trail of Ten Falls Loop. It was amazing!!! Thank you so much for making this video - we may have never done it otherwise. The day we hiked it was sunny and warm (it happened to be in between the rain fronts that have been blasting southern oregon lately) which made it even more amazing. We love all the information you give in your videos and are always inspired to get out of our comfort zone to explore something new. Keep up the good work!
Wow! You guys even captured my four other things I love about this place. I love watching the water from behind a fall, the grotto with the dripping ferns, the deep pool [usually crystal clear with the NW emerald green tinge] from the metal bridge and the giant stone blocks just before you get to N. Falls. You were really blessed on timing with such good water flow. I've only seen Winter Falls a few times with as much water as you captured on film. In late summer it's hardly even a trickle. Kudos to you both!
I will be forever thankful the fire in 2020 stopped just inside the boundary of Silver Falls State Park. We lost so many other beautiful places deeply treasured but Silver Falls, our crown jewel of the area, was saved. I hug those trees with tears of gratitude every time I go. (I live in Salem about 40 minutes away.) I'm so glad you got to enjoy it!
Awesome work!! What a fantastic adventure. excellent video and editing work. We were able to see it so relaxed. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience😉
My husband and I will be doing this hike later this month. This video was perfect. I literally followed along on the map I printed out. Thank you for the visuals and tips !
Lol what a way to end it! Love your editing guys! I definitely have Silver Falls State Park added to my Oregon Road Trip Itinerary. I had never heard of it and it was gorgeous! Thanks for the great video!
Damn ya'll! This is getting exciting! You're getting closer and closer to Alaska! Awesome waterfall park! Water is Life, and Oregon has it in abundance. Last year we visited Toketee & Sahalie Falls. Ya'll might like those. There are some hot springs nearby you can soak in.
So glad you didn't stay with the lakes and rivers you're used to. I saw stairs on that trail. Looked doable up to that point. And another crack??? What a pain in the glass!!
Beautiful, I love waterfalls. It is so amazing that you can walk behind them. The waterfalls on the trail are so amazing. Nature is so interesting and the way they were made for us all to enjoy is so amazing. The last one was beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I am really enjoying your trip.
The falls are all still wonderful in the summer (assuming no drought). Great Hike! I did this one on my second visit to Oregon in 2019. It's SO worth a detour and the Oregon Gardens are also close. Formal Congrats on 100K! I'm off to Utah for some much needed post-Covid slot canyons.
Hello Adventurers😊😊😊, I absolutely LOVED all those waterfalls and hiking underneath lots of waterfalls was absolutely AMAZING! It also seemed like you were in a temperate rain forest with so much lush vegetation. The ice cream looked really good. As usual, this video was OUTSTANDING👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!
I am in awe of the beautiful falls and to walk behind them is just so cool! Food looks great as always!!! Here comes the sugar rush!!! 🍦 My that all looks so tasty! Hi Kona! Keep on dancing!
Agree with the person who said this is the best channel on TH-cam. Loved all the water falls at that park 😍 on my growing list. Glad your window 🪟 came sorry 😞 about the chip in the windshield. We are both having that kinda week. I had a deer 🦌 jump in front of me near Bryce Canyon last month 😳 it messed up the passenger side of my Rav4 mainly the bumper and the passenger door. The deer ran off and my car was still drivable for the last few days of my trip to Utah and back home. Anyway I just got it back from body shop and was coming home after work and got behind a cement mixer with those double tires on back. I tried to pass it and wouldn't you know a rock shot out of the back tires and put a couple chips in my newly painted door went to auto body they gave a bottle of touchup paint 🙃 such good people👍 . TY for the waterfall dance 💃 Katherine...lol haha 😄
Silver Falls State Park is awesome!! I live just over an hour from there, and I have hiked Trail of Ten Falls a few times. Glad that you were able to do the trail!! :)
EXCELLENT video!! Your channel just gets better and better. You gave me a great idea… I will be going to Oregon in a few weeks and I can’t wait to do this trail
What a beautiful, WET hike!! Had no idea that was there. I LOVE the Pacific Northwest and I'm so glad you're back in WA too!! That flower that you had in your lunch was a nasturtium (nas-ter-shum), they are edible flowers, but you probably already knew all that. Can't wait to see what you do in WA. Enjoy!!
It was such a beautiful and wet hike! We were soaked 😂! We can’t remember if Kathryn ate the flower or not, but probably. We didn’t know for sure, but figured it was edible. We’re loving the PNW ☺️
Pam and I tune into your videos every weekend. Thank you for making them and we look forward to the next one. And by the way, you seem to eat at all of the places we would stop. Doug and Pam
Such a beautiful hike. We love your energy and excitement with each new adventure and with the food and ice cream. We have to say you inspired us yesterday when we stopped at two different gelato places not even a block apart here in Florence, just had to do a comparison. Thanks for sharing and having fun.
I am planning a road trip to Oregon this April and I'm super excited about this hike. Thank you so much for the inspiration! Much love from the Canadian Rockies ❤️
That's awesome! We hope you have a great trip! If you need more info on this hike and other things to do in the state we have guides on our website that may help. We highly recommend Bend, OR and an Oregon coast road trip! adventuresofaplusk.com/trail-of-ten-falls-at-silver-falls-state-park/ Thank you for watching!

Ricketts Glen in Pennsylvania has over 22 waterfalls! It's a must.
We’ve learned of it from some previous comments. We’ll have to check it out on our next visit! Thanks! 👍

Us too!
amazing dance moves you got there! Keep them coming 😄
That's an awesome waterfalls, but my favorite part was with Kona. So adorable as always!
We wish we could’ve brought Kona Bear on this one, but glad we could include her in some way ☺️
Perfect timing with all the rain we have received lately.
Oooo yes that park is a good test run! The lodge looked really neat to stay in as well!
Great video. Looks like an amazing place. So much water, greenery and life.
Thank you for highlighting OR’s beauty! And bounty of delicious food 😋 I was born in OR and lived there 15yrs. Now 22yrs later I still consider Oregon my home, and always will. ❤️LOL I’m thankful for the elves, too 👍😊

I love that park not only for the waterfalls but also the trees. Some of Oregon's most beautiful tress in my opinion.
Yes that is a beautiful park all around! Thanks for watching!

It’s a good amount of miles!

This is the true definition of bang for your buck. All ten were great, but the first one takes the cake imho.
Yes indeed! And yes I agree the first is the best of them all
The waterfalls were magical! Each one so different.
Yes they are!
Did that hike a couple of years ago and can't wait to go back. Amazing scenery.

Silver Falls SP is a true gem! So lush and beautiful. And Sugarpine is 🤤 Thanks for watching!
I’m amazed the lack of people there. I had assumed this place would be busy… awesome!
It was very rainy and soggy on that Monday!

@@AdventuresofAplusK To put it in perspective -- I am 65 and my husband is 74 so when we say you inspired us, you really did!

I loved the spoons punctuating the end of the ice cream!
Thanks!
I hiked the ten falls in April 4 years ago. It was a misty cool day, but lived every minute of it. I camp at the campground nearby
The campground is reeeeally nice. And the hike is A+
Another incredible trail that you guys have found!! My family would love all those waterfalls. So magical!!
It’s a great family hike!
Magnificent waterfalls! I can imagine big bears hiding in the caves behind the waterfall. Beautiful photography ☺️. Great fun. 🌻🌿🐕🇺🇸
That would’ve been a fun, but scary surprise! Thanks, Guadalupe!

My most favorite thing in nature are WATERFALLS! Thank you both soo for this beautiful video
We loooove waterfalls also! Thank you and thanks for watching!
Yes we’re thankful for that too! That would have been horrible! Thanks for watching!

One of my favorite local places to hike! You picked a great time for the full falls. Cheers!
❤️💙
I went to SugarPine last summer when I stayed in that area, and we didn’t get any food, but we DID get the soft serve and it was so so soo good!
The soft serve is legit!
3:21 Jumping in puddles is the best. Enjoyed the whole thing. ~ Chris, Oregon Parks and Recreation Dept.
Puddle jumping is a ton of fun! Thanks for watching, Chris!
Adding this to my list. It has been super rainy the past few weeks! Glad that the ten falls refers to waterfalls and not falling down :D
Us too! 😂
Love this state park, went years ago, in the pouring rain. Would love to go back, maybe when it is a little drier.🥰

I saw stairs on that trail. Looked doable up to that point.
And another crack??? What a pain in the glass!!
😂😂 nice! We love lakes and rivers but ya can’t always stay with them! There are a bit of stairs, but not horrible
And yes another crack! 🤬
Waterfalls you can walk behind are the best! Thanks for watching!

What a fun hike. It's great to have waypoints to look forward to.
Congrats on 100k subs!
Thank you!
Pam and I tune into your videos every weekend. Thank you for making them and we look forward to the next one.
And by the way, you seem to eat at all of the places we would stop.

Great minds think alike! ☺️
Such a beautiful hike. We love your energy and excitement with each new adventure and with the food and ice cream. We have to say you inspired us yesterday when we stopped at two different gelato places not even a block apart here in Florence, just had to do a comparison. Thanks for sharing and having fun.
It’s hard work but somebody’s gotta keep those gelato shops busy! Thanks for doing the dirty work, Bob!
