    By far Cascade Head is the #1 hike along the coast. My fav place, lots of great memories I even used the photo I took for my oil painting. Can't wait to go back. Cheers for your travel logs.

    I live here and this is extremely helpful because it’s not always easy finding some of these like the drift Creek or where to park at the knoll so thank you for doing this service to All!!

    When is the best time to go to the Coast? Realistically, is any summer month good? I've heard September-October is best.
    I need to see that God's Thumb

      So sorry for the slow reply!! Summer is great weather-wise, though likely to be pretty crowded. If you can go on a summer weekday, it’ll be a bit less busy. September and October are also good options, but there’s some risk of wildfire smoke in September and rain in October.
      It rarely gets very cold on the coast, so you can really go any time of year. Our video of God’s Thumb is from February. You’re more likely to encounter rain & mud in the winter months, though.
