അന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധിയായിരുന്നു.

സാധാരണക്കാർക്കും എസി ട്രയിൻ യാത്ര ലഭ്യമാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ 2006 ൽ തുടങ്ങിയതാണ് ഗരീബ് രഥ്. മൻമോഹൻ സിംഗായിരുന്നു അന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി. 50 ഗരീബ് രഥങ്ങൾ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ സർവ്വിസ് നടത്തി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
ലോങ്ങ് ഡിസ്റ്റൻസ് നോൺ സ്റ്റോപ് ട്രെയിൻ സർവ്വീസായ Duronto Express കൾ സർവ്വീസ് തുടങ്ങിയത് 2009 മുതലാണ്, അന്ന് മൻമോഹൻ സിംഗായിരുന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി. 52 Duronto കൾ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ സർവ്വീസ് നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ലക്ഷ്വറി ട്രെയിൻ സർവ്വീസിനുള്ള അവാർഡ് പല തവണ വാങ്ങിയ ട്രയിൻ സർവ്വീസാണ് മഹാരാജ എക്സ് പ്രസ്സ്, 2010 ൽ തുടങ്ങിയതാണ്. അന്ന് മൻമോഹൻസിംഗായിരുന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി.

വന്ദേ ഭാരത് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 12:53 ന് കായംകുളത്ത് എത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഞാനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു അവിടെ..ചേട്ടനെയും അഭിയേയും ഒന്ന് കാണണമെന്ന് അതിയായ ആഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു..ഒരുപാട് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നു രണ്ടുപേരെയും കാണാൻ🙂..അതിന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല എനിക്ക്..ട്രെയിനിനകത്തേക്ക് തിരക്ക് കാരണം ഒന്ന് കേറി ചേട്ടനെ കാണാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല..നല്ല തിരക്കായിരുന്നു

7:33 Seat select ചെയ്യാൻ എന്താണ് indian railway facility തരാത്തതിനെപ്പറ്റി ഒന്ന് രണ്ടു വർഷം മുൻപ് ഒരു article വായിച്ചിരുന്നു.
സത്യത്തിൽ അതൊരു scientific reason ആണ്, physics.. ഈ centrifugal force manage ചെയ്യാനാണ്! Seat allotment public - ന് കൊടുത്താൽ uneven ആയിട്ടായിരിക്കും ആളുകളുടെ seating which affects the train's dynamics during running!
For example, ഒരു 3-4 tanker ഉള്ള trailer ആണെങ്കിൽ ആദ്യത്തെ tanker നറയെ fuel ഉണ്ടെന്നിരിക്കട്ടെ, രണ്ടാമത്തെ ടാങ്കറിൽ പകുതി fuel, മൂന്നാമത്തെ fuel കാൽ tank, നാലാമത്തെ full tank ആണെങ്കിൽ running - ൽ വാഹനത്തിൻ്റെ stability നഷ്ടപ്പെടും.. weight distributuon uneven ആയതുകൊണ്ട്!
So that's the same reason with trains as well.. normal coaches- ൽ (ICF, LHB) അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ആ facility railway public- ന് നൽകാത്തത്! We can only select berth preference, not seats!
I don't know about Vandhe bharath train coaches.. അതിൽ ഭാവിയിൽ seat selection ഉണ്ടാകുമോ എന്ന് കാത്തിരിക്കാം! Most probably it won't happen due to safety reasons.

According to a report in Moneycontrol, the process of seat selection in the halls and trains is different. The reason behind the distinctive approach of the two is hidden in science. The cinema hall is in a position of rest on the other hand trains need to constantly move. Hence, the IRCTC algorithm automatically allots a seat to balance the load equally on the moving train.
Let’s take an example. Assume that a train has sleeper coaches numbered T1, T2, T3…..T10. So there will be 72-72 seats in each coach of the train. Now if an individual books a ticket for the first time, the software allots him a seat in the middle coach of the train. The IRCTC first books the lower berth so that the centre of gravity is less.
The software works in such a way that all the coaches on the train will have the same amount of passengers while travelling. The allotment of the train seats starts from the middle seats, then it goes to ones that are near the doors of the coach. This way, the IRCTC software, through its algorithm, helps maintain the balance of the train.
The chances of the derailment of the train can increase due to the maximum centrifugal force. Hence, the Indian Railways keeps this responsibility reserved. It ensures that the passengers are evenly distributed.

One of the great benefits as a locopilot in Vandhe Bharat trains is the air conditioned cabins! ഞാൻ ഒരുപാട് ഓർത്ത് സങ്കടം തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട് ഇന്ത്യൻ റെയിൽവേയിലെ ലോക്കോ pilots അവസ്ഥ.. passangers - ന് AC ഒകെ choose ചെയ്യാനുള്ള option ഉണ്ട് പക്ഷേ ഇവർക്ക് വെയിലും മഴയും തണുപ്പും എല്ലാം കൊണ്ട് വേണം പോകാൻ.. അതും ദീർഘദൂരം although state border ഒകെ ചിലപ്പോൾ അവർ change ആകുമായിരിക്കാം എന്നാലും.. especially diesel engine ഓടിക്കുന്നവർക്! ആ engine noise, vibration, ചൂടും...
