I love Ferdinand, especially as played here by the brilliant Rodolfo Sancho. What a brave, sly, cunning, handsome king. Worthy husband and partner to Isabel. Everything a monarch should be.

See this is the reason, when I saw Fernando embrace Felipe, when he arrived in Castile, my first thought was Let the Games begin. 😉😊😂

Political warfare is always something fun to watch. Props to Ferdinand for being a skilled politician, and I like Louis but honestly, he should have at least been suspicious as to why Ferdinand would send Philip. And Fuensalida having the last word, telling Philip that Joanna gave birth to another boy, is easily one of the best burns.

Scotti Brown : Agreed Louis is smart enough to know that Ferdinand doesn't trust Phillip so there must be a reason

Fuensalida should end his audience by saying "the baby boy is named after his grandfather, Fernando" :D

a very interesting show that i was absolutely not aware of till a few days ago. Looked it up, if al this happened in 1503 the little boy born was the future Emperor Ferdinand I, ruler of Austria 1521-1564. In a town just 10 Miles away from where i live i can still walk on the pavement he had ordered to be installed there

No doubt Ferdinand was a great politician. The great pillar of Queen Isabella´s reign. His shrewdness and skilled diplomacy played a great part in making Isabella the greatest queen of all times

That is definitely true, he knew how to play the game with Felipe more than once.

Hey! Thanks for all your hard work.
Where’s the clip where Charles loses badly, and wants to fight on but his queen Anne yells at him to stop?
