- Here is a glimpse into a typical day of my life as a trader! My routine as a Trader comprises of waking up at 9:00am EST, setting my coffee to brew at 9:05am EST and then heading to my desk to open my Trading platform to set up my charts. I then log into the Trading room and start scanning for stocks that are gapping up or down so I can build a watchlist of stocks I want to day trade. I then post my list in the Trading room by 9:15am EST. Afterwards, I take about 15 minutes to review my open portfolio positions and other swing trades I might be in.
I day trade until about 11:00am EST and then I hop onto Live Stream in the chatroom where I review all my trades for the day. I also scan for some options trades and answer questions from the chatroom members while giving them feedback on their Trades. Typically, I am done by around 12:00pm EST. I usually spend the rest of my day in meetings or other daily activities. Other days, I might still be at my desk scanning and looking for swing trades.

Very inspiring! I love how you keep your setup - both the desk and also the tools you use - so simple. No fancy/confusing/unnecessary indicators and resources. No unnecessarily diversified portfolio or watchlist. An example of a trader/investor who KNOWS what he’s doing.

Thats a real talk right there. Most new trader have the mindset becoming millionaire in a week or so when reality the journey takes time to master.
Its kind of like an education with the potential of unlimited gains IMO, It takes ab 3 years to get decent enough were you can esrn consistent money which is about the same time as a bachelors degree.
I'm glad you're spreading a positive message, it is 100% possible, research,learn and put the time in.

Inspirational video....I too was away from trading reading the articles that 80 percent lose money etc....But when i tested it myself.....There is no question about its immense possibility and to make money without burning our brains out in a regular stressful job....

@@florentin4061 Monday-Friday each day will be at least 2 hours and 1 hour only if I feel like it’s a bad day to trade.. I try not to be greedy because that’s how you lose money so when I see the perfect chance to take profit.. I will take it by chance. I don’t care if it’s $30, $40, $80, or $100.. profit is profit and you’ll grow overtime. I make like $80-$130 daily, it’s not much but it’s a good start for a 19 year old😂 I’m still in the process of learning more and new things on the stock market so I still got years. I invest $300-$800 a day if you’re wondering. I don’t trade on big companies like Tesla, Amazon, or etc. just not ready for that yet👍

I hold an electrical engineering degree with a minor in stats, and been trading for over a decade. I have made LOTS of $$$ and have loss some also (80/20), at the end, if done right, you will come ahead, but the journey is not easy..
@Grimoire Working for someone else sucks. I haven't worked for someone since I was 19. WORK is GREAT. I work harder to not work than anyone else I know. You go to school, become an accountant, make 60k a year and work the same hours for 40 years. That sounds fucking horrific to me.
@Grimoire I do multiple things, Ebay pays most of my bills. I flip cars and Motorhomes as well, I buy and sell real estate. Then Day Trading. I can't rely just on trading because it changes my mindset.
If I know my ebay sales will cover my cost of living then I don't worry about losing 1k on a trade bc I know that money isn't attached to my house taxes for instance. When you lose your Comcast, eletric, gas, and water bill for the month in 3 minutes that's messed up, or at least it messes with my state of mind.
With that being said you need to paper trade with TOS. My advice is screw saving money, when you got your paper game down put 3K in CMEG or whichever sketchy borderline illegal offshore broker you can find nowadays and blow that account up. When you lose that money, and make no mistake you will, start over again. I'm not being negative, but unless you're George Soros you're going to lose in the beginning. Then on your 2nd or 6th blown account you'll start to figure it out "hopefully". For the love of everything holy don't drop like 35k in TD and start trading like crazy, it's not worth it.
Here's some of the realist advice you're going to get, you need to run to Jesus, or at the very least not have any drug habits. Losing money and being wrong every day is tough. I couldn't of made it without Jesus, I give him the glory, and I know I sounds like a Jesus freak, but I went from Drugs to God and it changed my life. Without him I would be on the street or dead.
Whatever weakness you have day trading will exploit it. If you do pills, you'll do more pills, If you stress eat, you'll eat even more. In the movies people jump off the roof and it leads you to believe they killed themselves bc they lost money, that's not true. They kill themselves because they've failed, there's a difference. Being a trader you will fail, you're guaranteed to lose. Sometimes I'll lose 3 trades in a row on the same day, so how do you handle tmrw? You take the failure, learn, and then win.
I think real estate is a safer bet than doing trading, too bloody risky
