Hi Rick. Thanks a lot for this very helpful tutorial. All along the year I replaced the HD, then the Ram, then the battery , then the GPU Fan. And now my son comes back with a broken hinge ...I have reordered from Ali some new hinges but all the 4 fixation points of the right hand side hinge are broken. grrr... thanks to you I will try to save its life once again. (I will order a back cover and I hope I will succeed ...). Thanks !!!

My cover isn't actually broken yet it does have a crack tho. AND I got a bit antsy... now Thanks to you I know if something happen I can replace it. Cheers man!!

The glue snapped i can removed it . Are there alternative ways for me to remove the display?
either isopropyl alcohol or heat the back panel up or Brute force (be careful of the lcd connector attached at the bottom)

Can you suggest me where I can get display back cover .my laptop got the same issue today
My hinge was completely broken so I needed a new back cover and bezel. Everything was going good until I went to remove the black tape under the lcd. One tape came off perfectly fine and the other one broke half way. Now I'm stuck not knowing what to do. Need help!!
if you are talking about the pull tab on the back of the display.
i would recommend heating up the back of the lcd cover to soften the adheasive and possible try and lift the screen up a little bit to separate it from the back cover
Hi, I remove my laptop's battery then , computer gave me cmos eror . I could not see any cmos battery . Could you help ?
Hp cmos, uses the laptop battery to save its settings
at 30:45, do I have to clean that part? if so, what are the product used to clean that, and what's the gray paste you applied to it later?
i was doing a thermal paste replacement.
i used isoproply alcohol on tissue paper to remove it.
Then applyed new thermal paste on there (artic silver 5)
