It’s a small set and not a lot of room add gearing without doubling the size of the tractor base. And I’m not that great with Technic gearing in general. It is an interesting idea, but I think beyond my LEGO expertise

Hi, Just took your great idea and did it to my tractor. Made a few changes based upon parts but i was able to re-use the steering wheel and make it moveable. I posted pics on Instagram and Gave you a shout out for the idea! Great job and Thanks!

I used a piece with two connectors studs as an additional mod but your settup looks interesting with the yellow seat and additional controls.

were you able to fit a minfig in your setup without raising the roof of the tractor?

Yes. I used a 1x2 piece with the Technic connector pins as two studs to hold the figure in place. It, plus removing steering gears (my own choice) created a lot of workarounds but there’s a view I show with the roof off.
