Awesome table! 👌
Thanks! 👍
Very cool!!!!
A very fun project-just glad it turned out ok.
This is the best pour table I have seen. It is so classy!!
Thanks Bob, I missed your comment until today! The Epoxy pours can be pretty scary for me every time. I have to try a clear pour next!
Beautiful! You made a difficult job look easy!
thank you so much!
That is a beautiful table man.
THANKS for watching
Man what a sweet table brother !
Thank Viking, Its a slow one on views but I am gonna keep going with stuff I like!
Wow! Love the originality. Well done! Beautiful table.
Thanks for watching! I have some fun stuff coming up with a drum kit transformed into a 3 tier coffee table and am gonna try a table with clear epoxy sections and legs with the bottom out of clear epoxy for a levitating thing? stay tuned!
First Rate!
Thanks a lot! Trying to find an Audience and really appreciate the view.
This is a very nice table. Well done!
It was touch and go there with all that sanding and epoxy leaks. All in All was very fun. thanks for watching
The alternative to too much tape is usually a really bad mistake. That template shifts and you have a big problem. No such thing as too much tape. Beautiful piece. Maybe someday soon we can put a face to this southern accent? Great video sir!
The algorithm has rewarded facial hair and I will appear on camera when I have a luxurious ZZTOP beard, not before,,,,
Came out great! Nice job.
Thanks! I am trying to finish up a table build this week from 3 drums and walnut veneer into a rock star coffee table! Hope you can watch it. thanks for watching
Table looks fantastic! Must admit I had my doubts about the shape in the beginning but really liked it in the end.
Thanks intentional tom! I am drawn to curves and more arty shapes. I think I was having doubts also. I am doing a bass drum, and 2 tom drums put together and wrapped in walnut veneer with walnut tops as a coffee table next! THANK YOU FOR WATCHING
Pretty damn cool brother Skål 🫡
Thanks, really appreciate the view on my new channel
@@BlueTurtleStudios it’s my pleasure bro , I started YT content 10 months ago and know the journey in early stages , I’ve got quite a following now and have built an awesome community on line , I go live almost every evening and we chat woodworking , you’re more than welcome to come hang if you ever have time . Usually go live in the evenings around 7:00 eastern standard , weds I do a group live with a couple other fellas on YT who do a lot of laser stuff , pretty fun but my audience likes when I go in alone lol 😂. Anyways , keep up the great work brother
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks see you there
Very nice work.
Thanks for the view. I really enjoy the resin and walnut builds. I want to do a clear project--might be a tough one
Looks great
Thanks!
A very nice piece of furniture. I’ve been woodworking for 45 years plus and have made many, many tables. Rectangular are easy but curved get more interesting. In years gone by, we obviously didn’t have CNC and so we made our templates manually. I still don’t have a CNC but get mine cut when I need them.
We also didn’t have epoxy.i think epoxy is a mixed blessing (speaking as someone who has just finished 2 of them). It does let us use timber that, years ago, would just go a firewood. However, I feel it’s taken some creativity and skills away as the answer for some now is to fill other with epoxy. But that’s life.
I’ve finished another table a month ago where I used European walnut in quite the shape you have but surrounded it with oak. It was very time consuming in that I had to make several template to that junction between oak and walnut tight all around the curves.
None of this is in anyway negative to your build. It was very creative and I applaud also the quality of the video itself.
Have you tried switching to a 2 pack hard wax oil. Obviously, Osmo was the go-to but I think the era of 1 pack is going. 2 pack gives me fast curing and a coat only solution. I persuaded by the Wood Whisperers video reviewing 2 pack to switch from Rubio to Natura Onecoat. I won’t be going back. Better cans mean I can go drip free; fast cure (in about an hour I can handle the piece, freeing up my bench and stopping dust ruining the piece) and it’s cheaper (per can, and it seems to me, it goes further)
Thanks, I am drawn to the odd shapes. I am not very good at straight lines. If I didn't have the pattern it would have taken a week to sand the curves-thank goodness for the people that do have them- its not for me either but definitely a shortcut-I am a little older than most of these MAKER TYPES therefore tech is natural for me and I am very grateful for the view and comment.
I may have to buy stock in tape company. Great looking piece! ✔️
It's the tape the astronauts use. usually I drink some Tang and a slim jim when using it.
Loving your content so far! Genuinely new ideas, forging a mix of flat work and turning. Very inspiring 👍
Starting a YT channel myself with similar yet different approaches. Looking forward to following your journey!
I really appreciate it! I am rather long in the tooth to start this at 60 but I have so many things I want to build. Strangely enough my ideas are a little off mainstream but hope there are viewers for me. Let me know when you are up and running!
Cool build! Turned out excellent! New sub, found you through the Bearded Viking Live.
that's so cool- he is a real character and a lot of fun to view
