This may be the best interaction between Daisy and Coulson
And that says a lot. Because they have always had great interactions
It was hilarious. Coulson always had a connection to Daisy. He even said she's like the daughter he never had in one episode. So he feels comfortable and protective of her. They have great chemistry as actors, not just between their characters.
Their best moment for me is when daisy call coulson dad in a epidose this season
this show was already so good at fucking my emotions, but this episode was raised the bar to heaven. i never laugh and suffer in the same 40 minutes this wildly

Clark Gregg stole the show in this scene, I felt sarcasm, anger, annoyment from him, it felt like he was done with his life, but then couple seconds later he turns into his all serious self. Damn I enjoyed this episode
Yeah this episode really showed how being an LMD is starting to drive him crazy. He spent a year in a hard drive, can be turned off at any time which feels violating and now he's watched his friends die a hundred times over and knows he'll have to watch them all die for real and go on alone. He even implied his programming won't let him kill himself once he's the last one left.

This is my favorite and i imagine a lot of people's favorite. There were a couple of good episodes this season though.
It’s like the one episode from Legends of Tomorrow where Zari is the only one who is aware of the time loop.

This was one of the best episodes and AOS, and the best time-loop episode I have watched. You were struck by every possible emotion, I loved that the stakes were high. Elizabeth did an amazing job on her directional debut.
Yeah I enjoyed this one more than most "groundhog day" episodes cause this one it wasn't until you figure it out. This one was "you've only got so much time TO figure it out"

This whole scene gives me vibes of that time Coulson was walking through the Zephyr asking for an update and he finally wound up just being thankful the plane still had wifi 😄 as he said, "boy have I lowered my expectations."
That was on the Bus, actually, right after they left the Hub following the HYDRA uprising.
One of the best episodes in the entire show. I loved it beginning to end. Elizabeth did a great show with her directing debut. And the dialogues were the best the show has had in years, and that's saying a lot considering how good this last season has been so far. This is one of the episodes I'm gonna rewatch over and over, and like with every Buffy rewatch, notice small details that will make it even greater.

So when the first time we see him powered up, Coulson says that it's the 87 times she wakes him up. Knowing that she died 14 times and that we can estimate that she made the same choices. She comes for him on the 3rd day. So there are 28 without him
.
And there is the original loop that he wouldn't count because she hadn't died yet and he didn't need to explain anything to her, so we add 3 more days.
So the first time we see Coulson, Daisy had been looping for 118 days. Wow.

2. Time is relative and "a day" as we understand it is not 24 hours. You experience a day by waking up, living it and ending it. Some days are really long (for whatever reason you can go 36 hours in one go) or way shorter.
Either way, I'm not sure why you would feel the need to make a comment to contradict something like that.

Mridul Chandra yes he was. I missed coulson and his sass, humor, and fun. I know he’s a machine now but they have the same mind and no instant kill so we good with him.
Loved Clark Gregg in this scene. Great acting
It's guaranteed that Coulson's been there for all of Daisy's death. Only thing changing the vairable to cause her death is Coulson, so if he isn't activated, Daisy continues on like all the other ones.
Because Daisy immediately goes to Coulson when she realizes something is wrong. And when they try to fix it, something inevitably goes wrong.
I love how Coulson gets frustraited with every loop, like most people would if they remembered it.

The beginning of this episode was hilarious. I miss Daisy and Coulson team ups, the ultimate father/daughter duo!
Also, I don't understand why Daisy didn't understand Coulson's "record skipping" analogy when she used the record player in his office in season 2.

@@jamesngando3485 from what i understood they were reseting and the plane also coming back but wasnt fully a complete back there was some lost meaning they will crash into the vortex... still messed up if they reseted completelly and the plane was at the same speed they would be...ffs its called a loop for a reason... just saying xD
@@P4FElton I don't think they're traveling at distance/time in this case since they're in a different dimension. Just like AntMan where he's in contant shrinking, the Zephyr in constant time jumping but at the exact same location.
Proper velocity would be, in my theory, is time of loop / time in-between jumps. And as the time in between jumps becomes smaller and smaller (from years to months to hours to seconds and so on) the velocity gets higher until they reach the "vortex" and reach a time jump so little that they would cease to exist.

i thought another reason they were the ones experiencing the loops was because they both have the gh-325 serum, but then i realized coulson is a robot so..... no.
this is a nice parallel to the framework machine making it look and feel like you are in that world and you've always been there, while their pods make it so that you can experience time (somewhat) normally.

How has it been two years already since this wonderful show ended?
As I Have Always Been was the second BEST episode of season 7! What We Are Fighting For was the absolute best episode of season 7 if not the entire series. AoS was one of the best shows. I miss it but it was a great gift to be able to watch it and be inspired.

Now I want an episode 9 & a half where we see the other times Daisy experienced the Time loop and then died 14 times.
This and the episode where Jemma was stuck on an alien world were my favorite episodes of the series.
We’ve all gotta admit that was a pretty intense episode.... but the real question is.... what did Simmons do. My theory that it’s something to do with where Fitz is and she can’t save him or something. Hmm🤔🤔
AdrFax that’s a really good theory! I can see that being it! In this time I found another theory that was like she remembered she abandoned her daughter Diana which is why the chip was named that. Even if Fitz did die or whatever the timeline would still be in check cause the daughter is alive and therefore deke is still here too. However we learned from endgame time doesn’t necessarily work like that.
That was such a great ep and played so well to how great an acting team Clark and Chloe are. (really need to find a way to get them back together in something......)

Watching this ep, I could tell someone new was directing it. The tone, shots and performances seemed different than what we usually get. I wasn't a fan of how over the top and silly it was getting, but it made it all work within the final scenes of the ep with Enoch.
the director is literally Elizabeth Henstridge aka Jemma, but yeah it's first time
I absolutely loved it, the moment after they confronted you know who was the funniest bit of the season for me and pushed Season 7 up to my second favorite season.
its a timeloop so it is a silly concept but she directed it amazingly
I think it's nice to get some variety in the episodes style. Especially the 50s one, with the music and dialogue and panning. Star Trek did that a lot too and it made for some really interesting episodes.
