Dana says- Only Agents of SHIELD can make such a tense episode so flippin' hilarious, and then so heartbreaking. Huge kudos to Elizabeth Henstridge for an amazing directorial debut, and Joel S., Clark, Chloe & the rest of the gang. Whoever was in charge of continuity should get an award. Amazing episode.
@@bensenzo I think he asked that because they probably already told them about the loop, so he was asking do they need to be sad since the day will just restart and he'll be alive again.
2:08 "We need to talk" *After 2 seconds* 2:10 "That did not go well" "Where did he get those weapons?" "Deke dead?" "Very" "Do we need to be sad about that?" "We do not" Clearly Enoch again did not see the irony
Someone needs to make a one hour loop of Daisy getting tossed by Enoch to the wall, bcs the number of times she experienced that would probably amount to a total of that duration lol
LOL! Thank you for zooming in on Daisy’s face at 1:34 That face was so hilarious; like something a cartoon character would have been drawn to make. So perfect! 🤣👍
I love a time loop and this episode is just so brilliant. Coulson is my favourite here and he’s just oozing humour throughout. Also it’s so nice that Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons) directed this.
I want to see the bloopers of this episode.. The scene with the entire team confronting Enoch, everyone looks as if they're about to burst out laughing.
Enoch: "Is there some reason you are creating false pretenses under which you might keep me in this location?" Sousa: oh god, someone help, how do I get out of this one, *heh, no, never, why would I ever do that?*
Omg I wonder how long just HOW LONG this episode took. “PHLEBOTINUM” alone would have taken me 20 times to say without atleast a chuckle. This episode was great but I needed the bloopers for this yesterday
Daisy: “I DIED?! AGAIN??!!!!” 😂😂😂 Coulson: “oh no, no no no you’ve died 14 times we’ve been through this loop 87 times or I should say 87 THAT I KNOW ABOUT!” Daisy: “That you know about?!” Coulson: “BECAUSE YOU DONT COME POWER ME UP EVERYTIME!!!” 😂😂😂😂 (That line by Coulson is my absolute favorite 100%) 0:28
The most hilarious episode in AoS and in general. Love comedy that can be done without being forced or yelled into convincing you it's suppose to be funny!
this episode was very funny until the end. but i seriously love the team ups and then seeing them beaten down. it was very funny to watch and i love this episode (the beginning of it at least)
The scene I’m referring to isn’t here, but I want to mention something. So, in another TV show I watched, a similar time loop episode happens, except the character that has the memories if the previous loops is considered crazy by her teammates, and it takes a while for them to believe. I just love how the characters in AoS have been through so much shit together that they don’t even question it that much when Daisy and Coulson told them about the loop.
damn elizaberh did a really good job , this is my favorite episode of the season ( saying this as if there will be another season ... god i'm not ready for this show to end )
Wow! Elizabeth Henstridge (Jemma) directed this episode? No wonder she's the only one who didn't get beat up. And Daisy's last line knocked me dead! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would have to go back through all seven seasons to be sure, but this may be my favorite episode of the entire series. It's well structured from a writing standpoint. Despite very complicated temporal instability the story's easy to follow and quite a wonderful roller coaster ride. The direction is impeccable. Given this is Henstridge's TV directorial debut I'm super impressed. And the humor. Oh the humor is integral to the success. Drama is easy to direct by comparison. The timing's not as important. Comedy is very difficult, because timing is everything. The cast and crew were on the balls of their feet from start to finish. Looking back I enjoyed very much every episode J. August Richards was in. Loved the "Blue" episode where Jemma Simmons carried the show for the most part for an entire episode. Anything that included Mockingbird and Lance Hunter would be in the running, particularly the episode where we see how Fitz takes the proverbial scenic route to the future using cryogenics instead of a time stone. Nick Blood's just a shot in the arm for this series every time he appears. There's a lot of contenders for best episode is what I'm saying but this Groundhog Day episode where we see all the characters shine and we get some Phil and Daisy interaction at a level that we've missed seeing there's just so much goodness going on I feel like this episode demonstrates the best this series has always had to offer while dismissing any of its faults. I'm sad to see this series go, but it went out with a bang, and this episode as the prologue to the final story arc just felt like lightning in a bottle.
I agree with you. This series had everything - humor and drama and sadness. I especially liked Daisy and Coulson. The final was just wonderful - the main thing is that they were happy! I miss this show already, It is forever in my heart!
Спасибо большое♥ Даа, точно, этот момент можно было добавить) У меня, под эту музыку, удивительно точно "влезли" все фразы и моменты, что кое-какие моменты пришлось не добавлять:D
clearly the people who disliked this video did not see the irony
It was Enoch & the Chronocoms
😂😂😂
That's is hilarious
Clearly the dislikes didn't see the irony in it
Or it could simply be the overlay "music" that irritates the hell out of them.
s
They did not
This is 1 of the funniest episodes and Daisy's faces were all hilarious
Especially, "I Died?!" "Again?!"
Funniest as well as saddest
Omg 😂 this was the episode Elizabeth Henstridge directed.
It's so good.
What!!! She directed this???

Hey Dana! Lol
Also i agree 1000%
May:Deke’s dead? Daisy: Very Mack: Do we need to be sad about that? Daisy; No, we do not. Cracks me up every time. It’s hilarious 😂
I missed it the first time. (lol)
I thought it was Soussa who asked about being sad.
That would have been better and made more sense since Soussa doesn't know much about Deke

Can we get the outtakes for this episode? I'm willing to bet Clark Gregg had a blast filming this!
Mack: “Do we need to be sad about that?”
Daisy: “We do not.”
Poor Jeff, the cast hating on him has spilled into the show. 😂😂
When you realize that Enoch literally killed Deke.
Loved this episode but LMD Coulson not giving a shit anymore and snarking AT DAISY about the situation is the best part.

Coulson being so Done with everything in this episode 😂😂😂
Anyone else die when Sousa says: Where'd he get all those weapons from? Now just imagine that statement to an actual action hahah
when you realize Daisy died in the time loop more than Coulson in the whole series 🤣🤣🤣

What an absolute gem of an episode. I've loved the season so far, but this one was just a crowning jewel upon it.

I forgot how Enoch literally just defeated everyone like they were nothing with specs of dust
What's funny is that every time I see blood on LMD coulson .. it's like the writers wanted it to be there to make it look funny 😂😂
Elizabeth directed the hell out of the episode

It's normal that the funnier part for me, is when Coulson explain to Daisy everything? I mean the faces, the voices. Just took funny

Wonderfully directed ep so by Elizabeth Henstridge !
