Here are DIY wine rack plans for 196 bottles.
My DIY wine rack plans for 196 bottles are easy and inexpensive to build. You don't need any special skills or tools to accomplish professional results with this project. Why pay someone to build custom wine storage for you when you can build a system all by yourself? I'm not a professional woodworker and you don't have to be one either. I share all my cutting skills with you to get you beautiful results in your home too.
What type of bottles can it store?
Whether you have champagne, bordeaux or magnum bottles (which are all different sizes), you can store every shape and size bottle with this storage system. I have a combination of built-in wooden boxes and a wall-mounted wire rack system that gets the job done beautifully. You can customize this plan to your space and requirements. I actually built my hallway to the dimensions of the wire rack so that it would fit perfectly in the space. You don't have to get that involved with your project though! Depending upon how many wine bottles you have to store, you can build as many wine boxes as you need to get your job done.
Your DIY wine rack plans for 196 bottles is cheap!
I'm using simple construction materials that are readily available at you local big box store. 1 x 12's and 2 x 12's are what you can look for. The reason why I'm able to use such inexpensive materials is because I'm painting the project when it's finished. I'll show you my process for making construction grade pine look like fine furniture. Hi Chantal, I get so many compliments on this wine storage unit. All the bottles are easy to find and it holds a TON! Coincidentally, I just re-stocked mine last night but it even looks nice partially empty. Where are you building yours? I like white zinfandel by Vendange is my preferred. Sweet and juicy with notes of strawberry and jasmine, about $10.00 a bottle. I love all kinds of wine but this is my favorite for Family gatherings. Great video.
