The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto ($846,594 as specced in Canada, $608,358 starting in the US) is the successor to the outgoing Aventador, and is powered by a hybrid V12 engine that makes a combined 1001 horsepower. It has three electric motors and an electric-only mode, meaning the Revuelto lets the driver choose between a shouty V12, a silent EV mode, or a combination of both for maximum power. But how does it handle something like a longer distance road trip to beautiful Ontario cottage country? And how does it fare on some twisty roads? Thomas and James are excited to find out! A stone doing that kind of damage is pretty damning on the materials used.
Thats what I was thinking. No matter what you hit on the road it shouldn't be punching a perfect hole in the carbon/urethane/whatever its made from.
I can see cracking, or other types of damage, but that held up like its made of paper mache.
That is very very concerning to see a perfect hole unless it was made by a bullet.

Not really imo. A stone can easily get kicked up and fired by a tire at quite high speeds, especially since the damage probably happened on the highway since the car arrived at the burger place with the hole there. It’s not like it hit a structural part, so the only thing it had to go through is some extremely thin carbon fiber. It’s really just plain bad luck.
i like the longer styled videos. the pure reviews are just a bit too short and direct for me, and whilst this isnt much longer than a normal single car review, i liked it just a bit more. A 40 to 50 min experience would be amazing, just in case thats within your production budget :)

So glad you guys found Southwood road (hwy 13). There are a couple more really good roads close to that. Healey lake road and White Falls are two really good roads near there. I take my Type R out there regularly. Great video as always.

As much of a fan as I am of the Aventador, the Revuelto looks like the beginning of another legendary addition to the Lambo V12 stable. Remember, the same critiques were said by Richard Hammond when the Aventador first came out. Give it time, we'll love this one too. Gracias Throttle House.
I agree. However, there have already been a couple of high profile cases of the Revuelto just randomly choosing to die and the electronics completely going out. So I think it'd be safe to say that those electric motors will quite likely be the bane of Revuelto ownership. You also gotta be extra careful to make sure you don't leave anything "unnecessary" on while the car is in park. Else the battery drains within an hour or so. I've 2 friends who've gotten an allotment and they're kinda worried they'd end up with a temperamental car akin to the SF90 which one of them coincidentally owns.

As someone who has owned a 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT, I was absolutely horrified to see that hole in the car. It did look like a very fun car to drive. The Diablo wore on you after a while. Hope you had the time of your life. It's always special to drive a Lamborghini.

There is plenty of Ontario North of Muskoka. May I suggest you try the south half of Hwy 129. A lovely winding hilly road that you would love driving and provide an excellent film location.
Filming in regular traffic and a normal city is better! More realistic! The first review I've loved in a while! Do more realistic reviews on normal roads with other drives more! Thanks !
