This was an excellent video, I just did the job today. THANK YOU! I wish it had included some tips about putting the belt back on, it was a challenge! But I finally got it done.
I did the smooth right side (water pump pully) last while holding down the tension with the 19mm. It was on but a little off the mark on the bottom pulleys. So I then had my neighbor hold that tension release while I went underneath and made a final seating adjustment.
Do not forget to do the 'Toyota Idle Reset' steps after the job to smooth out the idle.
Good luck! You can do it!

Fantastic video. The way you made sure all of the parts you were working on were in focus is the big difference between your video and many others.

Thank you!! I used this video to put a new altenator on my car!! I am so glad I found you. They way you say vehicle is really different never heard it said like that. Sounds like your saying Vericool. Not making fun of you at all please dont think that. Makes me wonder if I am saying it wrong. But anyway Thank you. You saved me alot of money. I am a woman so I hate going to repair shops. I try to do everything myself.

Awesome video, used it as a guide to swap out my alternator but I'm having the issues I was having before (dimming headlights/dashlights and rough idle). My plug looks just like the one you mentioned that needed to be serviced. Could that be the cause of my issues?

You need a breaker bar or extension pipe on a ratchet. Gives you more leverage

not the best video. you should test before and after. You should also clean the connector. And most importantly you should show how to retighten the tensioner so that people dont over or undertighten it
