A good technical video. Showed the steps, in focus and well lit. It did not waste my time. More like a Haynes manual in video format than a social media post.
Important! Like @donny says in their comment, if you have the smaller engine the tensioner is different, and can simply be loosened from the top. There are some other great videos on TH-cam for that model. I say this after removing the wheel and searching extensively for a 19mm tensioner point that didn’t exist! In general though, these TRQ videos are great and very clear. Would be good to specify this variation though.
You checked the belt 3 times and didn't notice it was cracked and needed replaced? Should've cleaned up those battery terminals too while you were grinding stuff clean.

2010 1.8 the tensioner is on top of the alternator. No need to remove the wheel.
Using a belt tensioner tool is much easier than removing a tire.

Any help would be great. I’m stuck on the tensioner and my 19 mm just seems like it’s rounding it. What should I do?
it was tough cause there no working room but I eventually figured it out! hooray and thank you!

Very helpful. Thank you.
Got me right through the process.
Getting to the tensioner sucks. Hahaha
Super frustrating, I’ve been trying to get at that tensioner from the top but no luck, I guess coming from the bottom is the only way?

Man, Toyota do not make anything easy, don't they?
It would be a lot easier to get at the tensioner if I had my car on a lift...
