Hi guys! Hope you enjoy this one! Had a lot of fun making it🤓 if you enjoy it let me know and I’ll do some more😏 always taking your feedback and taking suggestions 🙏🙌
Damn she dropped some gems in here like it was nothing, I’ve never had any tutorials tell me that there might be a TH-cam setting affecting what I’m hearing. Can tell she knows her stuff by how quick she can move through topics and be really detailed at the same time.
@@dj_instruments937 yes! (Mult)iplying the bass track 3 times, treating each one as a frequency band (so any processing I was done directly on the channel ie. inserts) Then I go and sum them all in bass bus with some glue compression. If I’m being extra I’d parallel that bass bus and squash the parallel with some juicy compressor maybe saturation..And then send both those busses to a bass group buss with some glue… but yes… divide and conquer🤓👍
Solid tutorial! is the spread supposed to bring the bass high end and spread it out across stereo? becuase it sounds like the video may have been exported in mono
Hey! Yes it does in fact spread the highs but it’s not very wide, just wide enough to leave some room in the middle. To be fair just listening to the highs it’s a little harder to tell but with the low end and then the kick is when it becomes apparent. Listen for tone change and also helpful to listen to the video with headphones or good monitors? Make sure TH-cam audio stabilization isn’t enabled. I have my sennheiser hd600s plugged in and seems quite perceptible✨ hope that clarifies and helps🙏😊
Is this the only video where you do stuff? most of your vids is just blabber theory... but ppl want actual work being done on video, we can read theory elsewhere. You defo talk waaaay too damn much and tinker in front of the track very rarely for a music producing channel dont you think ?
@@bWWd0 hey homie, we have two playlists of demos. Yes we do a lot of talking head videos ha! We are an audio engineering school and our channel was focusing on explaining the basics for potential/new students in a short time frame. Starting to do longer demos only recently. Lots of other channels available with less talking 😅 thanks for watching🙏
@@dj_instruments937 yeah! Bit of an odd term for sure. I had gone to abbey roads to a Jaycen Joshua workshop and that’s what he called it and found it super helpful and impactful in mixes. Been using it since☺️ Seems like it came from Dave Pensado 🙏

@@johndescy7904 glad you enjoyed it☺️✨ man sometimes those crazy ideas are just the right thing🤓😎
@@RecordingArtsCanada I'll let you know. 😀
So are you dividing the bass into different frequencies (Ls Ms Hs) and mixing them individually?
