Ingredients:
2 cups finely chopped cabbage
2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
Add chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and oil starts separating.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add finely chopped cabbage and mix it with the masala.
Cover the pan and let it cook on a medium flame until the cabbage becomes tender. Stir occasionally.
Once the cabbage is cooked, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
