EURYTHMY ? EURYTHMIE ?
Eurythmy is an art of movement that seeks to make visible what is invisible in music and poetry. In music, the eurythmist tries to express the musical elements of the piece (rhythm, melody, harmonies, ...) through his or her gestures, so that the whole being moves and, like a musical instrument, plays and sings what is heard in the music through his or her gestures. The group choreography allows the musical piece to unfold in the space between the eurythmists. When the eurythmist wants to make the word visible in a poem, a story or a dramatic piece, he or she reveals to the audience the mysteries of language (rhythms, sounds and letters, ...) as well as the images and feelings that live in the poem.
L'eurythmie est un art du mouvement qui veut rendre visible ce qui vit, invisible, dans la musique et dans la poésie. En musique, l'eurythmiste cherche à exprimer à travers ses gestes les éléments musicaux qui composent le morceau musical (le rythme, la mélodie, les harmonies, ...) de sorte que son être entier se met en mouvement et tel un instrument de musique, joue et chante par le biais de ses gestes ce qui est entendu dans la musique. La chorégraphie de groupe permet au morceau musical de se dévoiler dans l'espace, entre les eurythmistes. Quand l'eurythmiste veut rendre visible la parole dans un poème, un conte ou un morceau dramatique, il dévoile au public les mystères du langage (rythmes, sons et lettres, ...) ainsi que l'image et les sentiments qui vivent dans le poème.

THE PERFORMANCE - LE SPECTACLE
"Out of the Darkness, the Light" - "Dans les ténèbres, la Lumière"
This show was born from the experience of the inner shadows that everyone carries within and is called to transform, it speaks to us of the passage through the darkness to find the light. It consists of a few poems and a fragment of a story, presented in Hebrew, as well as six musical pieces for piano and violin.
Ce spectacle est né de l'expérience des ombres intérieures que chacun porte en soi et est appelé à transformer, il nous parle du passage par les ténèbres pour trouver la lumière. Il se compose de quelques poèmes et un fragment d'histoire, présentés en hébreu, ainsi que de six morceaux musicaux pour piano et violon.

Beautiful, graceful, show of musical movement. This form always makes you wonder possibilities. What you assume as natural and what is made up. Intellect is always making things up but intuition must follow a natural path. Many will find this wonder very tough to accommodate because we no longer know simplicity and clerity is naturalness.

Ahh. I can not express what i feel exactly! I watched this numerous times. It is just absolutely perfect, amazing, beautiful and so deep. I can obly imagine what it would be like to see in person....i feel so in tune with every part of this. Whenever i have been questioning lately, if i want to do Eurythmie, i have been getting this performance in my head. Thank you so much fir uploading this! 💜🪽
