Love the video. Great to see Mingulay through your eyes. One of my favourite songs and was the name of a Westerley 20ft I owned some years ago. Love the calming nature of your vlogs and excellent footage keep up the good work. And thanks for showing me Mingulay.

Love your channel - you put a lot of effort into it and it shows in the results. Nature documentary quality. We made it to Rathlin this year but missed most of the puffins.
Very interesting yt channels and very good quality also. Those waters are very fascinating. I planing trip from here in 🇫🇮 to Norway next years. And perhaps to Scotland too and those videos help making the trip plan.

Love your show. Have you thought of using the song the corries boat song mingulay very haunting but very soul reaching. I am sure once you hear it you will play it over and d over. Another group that sings it well is fishermen's friends they sing in Port Isaac, which is Port wenn in the show of doc Martin.

One question: are the kayaks inflatable? They look really stable.
Many thanks 🙏 . The kayaks are hybrid inflatable kayaks using a combination of aluminium frame, rigid panels and inflation chambers from ‘Advanced Elements Kayaks’. We mainly leave them inflated on deck but pack them down into easily stowed bags when doing longer voyages. Like a stand-up paddle board, they have a rigid high-pressure floor, which enhances both the hull speed and stability, allowing easy entry and exit. They track well but are still very manoeuvrable, we love them and recommend them highly.
