The enviroment and building is extremely well-done and such a piece of art , but the event itself is quite disappointing. I don't have much else to say but yeah , Roblox indeed made The Haunt probably the worst event. (For now..) From that note aside however , I find your commentary videos quite entertaining! I love the editing too , along with the little characters you have with you. I love it when video content creators have these little funny characters to add more fun to the video.
In my opinion, this event was a huge flop, it felt so rushed, buggy, and horrible. It was so rushed that the portals to the games won’t work . If this is how the events are going forward, I am not looking forward to another Roblox event💀
this is information from one of the devs from one of the games involved they were notified a week in advance and it was very very very rushed plus the map they include looks good (except for the random holes, but we dont talk about that right?) but is unfortunately you couldve beat the event on the first day by just glitching through the thin walls this was not qa tested at all lol

1x1x1x1 He found the perfect method so that no one can beat him. He created his own avatar contest in the worst way possible so that people would get bored and stop. He placed 5 skeleton fragments all over the map so that no one would find his secret passage. Then he transformed into the headless knight so that no one would suspect that it was him. But everything went wrong because the items were easily obtained by attracting everyone. Everyone found the secrets and went to the boss fight. In the end, 1x1x1x1 placed a clone of himself so that he wouldn't be caught and would defeat the players. But the clone was stupid and jealous, and when he looked at the avatars, he would take damage. In the end, he was defeated. 1x1x1x1 ended up living in a rental in Xique-Xique, Bahia.
As a HEAVY lover for Pressure, I’m pissed they wasted the creators time. It’s obvious it’s not an event pressure made for Halloween, they made it for the Haunt. It’s aggravating that time and effort was put into a costume contest instead of the actual game because the developers believed it was actually a game event.

As somebody who has gone through all 22 games (excluding dress to impress and royale high) I'm going to share my personal opinion and thoughts on this event For starters, i didn't really enjoy most games like pet simulator 99, horse life, dragon adventures, and survive the killer. Because they literally had no quest. As for the decent ones, here are some that were slightly enjoyable, that being mm2, a dusty trip, scary sushi, blair, and slap battles. I can go through all, but we'd be here all day if i were to do it. In general, this whole event just sucked, the only games that were good were Pressure, Piggy, Doors, and that's all. As someone who has went through virtually the entire event i can confirm that this is if not roblox's WORST event.
mm2 dont even have a event. its recycled.. you prob liked it becuz you played already too much.. piggy is also overrated as fuck im sorry man.. piggy became shitty very early but people started defending it becuz it has 'lore' while it really dont. its just a path with nothing in the end. piggy is also just granny being fr rn. minitoon should let the game as a joke game and abandoned it. its not worth the point

I trudged on to see if it got better, because great Roblox games can have rough starts, but it never got better. It was a competitive memorisation game, the puzzles remind me of novice Roblox horror maps. I can see a glimmer of fun, but... It's not good.

They did know about it, i know that because slap battles didn't do anything for the event itself, only the normal halloween event we get every october adding a new glove that is only obtainable during halloween.

We treated the Hunt & Classic too harshly like holy crap bruh. The games featured are damn good too, we could've gotten the event just like The Hunt with proper badges and something to go after. But nah it's just one big ass Dress to Impress💀.

very well put together video, I hadn't even realised it was nearly an hour long until I was at the closing thoughts. My attention span is horrid and I cannot sit through most videos about 20 minutes long because I get sick of it. This held my attention and kept me thoroughly entertained whilst doing nothing-work on animal crossing. Wonderful editing, the script flows well and is actually coherent and entertaining enough to be a very informative and interesting watch
I knew the creator of the toilet tower defense because I was a playtester for one of his previous games (I’m forgetting the name since it’s been awhile). it was a pretty high quality undertale fangame sadly the game suddenly stopped getting dev support and was deleted shortly after (even though it had only been a month of the game being out of beta). He did mention that he was working on a toilet tower defense game while I was still working for him. Now that I think of it he probably wasn’t the best game dev since he never gave me or the other playtesters any details about updates and even forbade us from discussing the location of secret items in the playtester channel
At this point, can we collectively just agree its JUSTIFIED to have the lowest of the seven layers of hell expectation when the name of the next roblox event goes by "THE ___" Did roblox ran out of actual event designers to think of ANY, ANY names that arent this bland ? The classic's 1x1x1x1 wasn't a boss where you suffered from massive fps drops, in The Huant this happens in the boss fight and I literally played at about 10 or 20 fps, even so it was the most ridiculously easy boss I've ever beaten, it was so easy that even a player with just 1 fps could defeat this horrible boss.
I've literally stopped bothering with Roblox events, it's gone from actual events to just cash grabs and advertising for games. Not to mention most the games weren't even horror oriented and if there even was anything to play it was horribly cooperated with the event hosts and did playing the games even matter??

And check the store again if you can, because I’m telling ya, you’re missing a whole crap ton of things. First, you see exclusive toys? They sell a crap ton of them…but why do they cost N/A? It’s because they sell it as real life toys and made by a funding Israel genocide company. “Oh just buying one or two doesn’t hurt” Yes they do. Those toys cost quite a lot for just some toys you probably wouldn’t touch and let it rot. The store main page is a huge mess with everything on there and there’s less actual Halloween sections than the stupid exclusive toys. The actual good halloween items also costs a lot. Yeah. It could have been a great event, but, I think Roblox only used it to test out their capture feature. And the claim of “avatar costume contest” went out the door on day 1. As people soon realised they could screenshot anything. And I feel more bad that Roblox made 25 games participate, only for people to take screenshots in. At least some had Halloween stuff already going on. But, I feel most bad for Pressure. Pressure made a whole ass new game mode only to get screwed over. Like, half the screenshots weren’t even avatars. The boss fight was shit, the items were, okay, games were just there for screenshots, but, the hub carried the entire event.

the dress to impress event was really only made to expand the 'lana lore' which has been going on since April so i get that it doesn't really make much sense to a normal player.
42:29 as The Mimic fan in Halloween Trials most of us properly know how the 3 part trials flow as Mimic Fans since the beginning of the evolution of the mimic franchise (Me i joined the mimic since august 2022 lockdown) To comment on that the first trial was definitely quite easy the keys where just in the same places i would recommend using the map layout in order to help you pass the trial or get some tutorials by videos. Second trial was just to light up candles in every 4 rounds and try not to die from Taiyo and lastly originally its supposed to be lighting up pumpkins also in every 4 rounds avoid the Kabochas at all cost however now its gonna be getting ingredients that needed to make a potion to kill the kabochas. P.s. not very quite interested to the haunt event pretty much just me getting ugc items and only joined the mimic Halloween trial event thats all.
with slap battles "wait a long time to get back" thing sound like that one really low quality tower defense games event where if you lose, you wait like 10 or less hours to play the event again and supposedly to prevent grinding.
The dragon adventure's world is meant for dragons at least level 10. I have zero clue why Sonar decided to put it in, because even HORSE LIFE was more beginner friendly. They just tacked on an extra quest too, giving a badge that does nothing
As a long time Slap Battles player, I completely agree with how horrible they did the haunt event. I managed to get the badge before the bugs started popping up, but man they really need to balance the difficulty so people that are just trying to get the badge can get it and regular sb players have it hard enough for a challenge.

I can go through all, but we'd be here all day if i were to do it. In general, this whole event just sucked, the only games that were good were Pressure, Piggy, Doors, and that's all. As someone who has went through virtually the entire event i can confirm that this is if not roblox's WORST event.

@@imafailure (2013 player) I checked out Piggy to see what the hype was about and got bored really quick. I trudged on to see if it got better, because great Roblox games can have rough starts, but it never got better. It was a competitive memorisation game, the puzzles remind me of novice Roblox horror maps.

I don't think the developers of the games didn't knew the event was going to be a costume contest. They did know about it, i know that because slap battles didn't do anything for the event itself, only the normal halloween event we get every october adding a new glove that is only obtainable during halloween.

Also, they said from the start of october there would be only 2 weeks of halloween event instead of the 1 month. So they were already prepared to do the halloween event or at least preparing.
We treated the Hunt & Classic too harshly like holy crap bruh.
The games featured are damn good too, we could've gotten the event just like The Hunt with proper badges and something to go after. But nah it's just one big ass Dress to Impress💀.

very well put together video, I hadn't even realised it was nearly an hour long until I was at the closing thoughts. My attention span is horrid and I cannot sit through most videos about 20 minutes long because I get sick of it. This held my attention and kept me thoroughly entertained whilst doing nothing-work on animal crossing. Wonderful editing, the script flows well and is actually coherent and entertaining enough to be a very informative and interesting watch

I knew the creator of the toilet tower defense because I was a playtester for one of his previous games (I’m forgetting the name since it’s been awhile). it was a pretty high quality undertale fangame sadly the game suddenly stopped getting dev support and was deleted shortly after (even though it had only been a month of the game being out of beta). He did mention that he was working on a toilet tower defense game while I was still working for him. Now that I think of it he probably wasn’t the best game dev since he never gave me or the other playtesters any details about updates and even forbade us from discussing the location of secret items in the playtester channel
At this point, can we collectively just agree its JUSTIFIED to have the lowest of the seven layers of hell expectation when the name of the next roblox event goes by "THE ___"

The classic's 1x1x1x1 wasn't a boss where you suffered from massive fps drops, in The Huant this happens in the boss fight and I literally played at about 10 or 20 fps, even so it was the most ridiculously easy boss I've ever beaten, it was so easy that even a player with just 1 fps could defeat this horrible boss.
I've literally stopped bothering with Roblox events, it's gone from actual events to just cash grabs and advertising for games. Not to mention most the games weren't even horror oriented and if there even was anything to play it was horribly cooperated with the event hosts and did playing the games even matter??

And check the store again if you can, because I’m telling ya, you’re missing a whole crap ton of things. First, you see exclusive toys? They sell a crap ton of them…but why do they cost N/A? It’s because they sell it as real life toys and made by a funding Israel genocide company. “Oh just buying one or two doesn’t hurt” Yes they do. Those toys cost quite a lot for just some toys you probably wouldn’t touch and let it rot. The store main page is a huge mess with everything on there and there’s less actual Halloween sections than the stupid exclusive toys. The actual good halloween items also costs a lot. Even if some people say you can earn 10k a day, I have to go to school, and I’m in 8th grade.
I’m not trying to sound like a hater but I am really sad that DTI didn’t get a higher rating. The animations and storyline were top notch and there was even a song for the whole lore too. I just felt like you were too hard on these games plus some games aren’t part of the Haunt itself, MM2, Horse Life and Royale High are also pretty good examples.

Yeah. It could have been a great event, but, I think Roblox only used it to test out their capture feature. And the claim of “avatar costume contest” went out the door on day 1. As people soon realised they could screenshot anything. And I feel more bad that Roblox made 25 games participate, only for people to take screenshots in.
At least some had Halloween stuff already going on. But, I feel most bad for Pressure. Pressure made a whole ass new game mode only to get screwed over. Like, half the screenshots weren’t even avatars.
The boss fight was shit, the items were, okay, games were just there for screenshots, but, the hub carried the entire event.

as The Mimic fan in Halloween Trials most of us properly know how the 3 part trials flow as Mimic Fans since the beginning of the evolution of the mimic franchise (Me i joined the mimic since august 2022 lockdown)
To comment on that the first trial was definitely quite easy the keys where just in the same places i would recommend using the map layout in order to help you pass the trial or get some tutorials by videos. Second trial was just to light up candles in every 4 rounds and try not to die from Taiyo and lastly originally its supposed to be lighting up pumpkins also in every 4 rounds avoid the Kabochas at all cost however now its gonna be getting ingredients that needed to make a potion to kill the kabochas.
P.s. not very quite interested to the haunt event pretty much just me getting ugc items and only joined the mimic Halloween trial event thats all.
with slap battles "wait a long time to get back" thing sound like that one really low quality tower defense games event where if you lose, you wait like 10 or less hours to play the event again and supposedly to prevent grinding.
The dragon adventure's world is meant for dragons at least level 10. I have zero clue why Sonar decided to put it in, because even HORSE LIFE was more beginner friendly. They just tacked on an extra quest too, giving a badge that does nothing
As a long time Slap Battles player, I completely agree with how horrible they did the haunt event. I managed to get the badge before the bugs started popping up, but man they really need to balance the difficulty so people that are just trying to get the badge can get it and regular sb players have it hard enough for a challenge.
Its so stupid that event's "gameplay" is just to vote and take screenshots, if that's the only thing you can do then what is the purpose of an entire big event dedicated to it? It could've been just a small contest.
