Those patio pots are 10/10. Thanks for showing, cause I have been looking forward to this update. The colors are some that I wouldn't pick, but how you have paired them just brought it all together. You help me experiment with different colors and form Thanks heaps KATE!!!!

    I FEEL your bunny woes❕❕❕
I woke to numerous losses three days ago, which yes always triggers numerous emotions to say the least......
In my fenceless garden I grabbed remnants of my past chicken wire rolls and began sculpting cloches.....
I was tired at the end of the day yet highly motivated. And considering "wire fencing options".....
    Darn bunnies.
Plus ODE to container plantings, gorgeous ! I've loved (raised) containers for decades for the many delights and high for bunnies - most seasons......

There is only one thing and that is your Borage is like mint and could take over you garden. That is what I have heard. But that’s just my garden and my climate so maybe it’s more vigorous elsewhere!

Such an enjoyable garden tour. And I can so relate to your rabbit problem. I have the same, except it is the deers that prune my plants. I have 3 poor firelight today bit hydrangeas that have never had the opportunity to bloom. I have moved them , but without luck. So I try to plant things that they don’t like. Hello Kate! Thanks for the full view of your property. You are doing an amazing job. I had a few thoughts- I would like to see the white trim around the windows painted dark. I think that it would be nice to change the front door out to a wood door that matches the wood of your roof overhang. In your front veggie garden I would have a pointed entrance arch that echos your roof line. Your cone flower with the deep grass on the corner of your backyard seating area is stunning!
Thank you for the informative and inspiring videos. I’m jealous of the chrysanthemums that you scored awhile back.

    • @HelloGarden

    • @HelloGarden
      @HelloGarden  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Oh that’s so awesome!!! The bunny nibbled all the blooms off my Merlyn dahlia and it was war. Brian and I are thinking of trimming the excess foot off the back fence line and making cloches for the front. The problem is the garden is so big that it almost would be easier to fence the whole thing… but we don’t want to be that crazy neighbor. 🤣

Check out Kate’s video from about a month ago called ‘sprucing up the dining room border’ as she divides her lambs ear 😊

Look at all you lovely people in here giving garden advice. This makes my heart so happy! I’m in Seattle and I garden like I’m in zone 7ish. I divide mine in spring!

Can you put your carrots in a taller bed that they can't reach ? Btw, received my teas , packaging was so sweet 🥰
ok, now I'm seeing your bean damage..are you sure it's bunnies getting that high up ?😳

Yay!!! I seriously get so excited when people tell me their tea has arrived and they’re loving it. 😊 And I would doubt the bunny’s existence except Brian caught the bugger red handed two weeks ago. 😡 But we have considered maybe adding a row… so that might be something to consider.

Hi Kate, I have a question, do you know of any shorter zinnia varieties that would work in pots? I love the one you have with the scaveola but you probably don’t know what it is

This is Profusion Salmon… which I loooooove. The Profusion and Magellan tend to be the most well behaved for container work. Enjoy!

Sometimes I need a reminder. 🤣 Can you imagine. I could be the first ever gardener that got canceled! Ha ha ha!

It’s not attractive but netting the bunny magnets might be an answer to get a harvest. Varmints are so frustrating.

I know… we played back and forth with doing a bunch of rows individually but then landed on just doing the whole darn perimeter. Fingers crossed!
