Wouldn't the swizzle and sailor type sisors we used as kids for arts and crafts be easier to make the tread instead of printing and using a hobby knife to carefully cut it out just wondering and use black paper or construction paper for the color they sell those pattern scissors in many shapes sizes and designs of wavy for making boarders on paper. Nice airbrush I have exact same one model and all and use a cheap small air compressor from harbor freight that way I have precise air pressure at all times and not running the whole time trying to keep up like the harbor freight airbrush compressor does which is great for a starter cheap compressor but a small regular compressor with regulator works way better and if you do it like I did I ran hard line up to my work bench and have 4 different quick nommects that are anchored and recessed to beck of work bench top and I just literally plug airbrush in and paint and have access to compressed air for everything I need it for when modeling and never gotta wait for pressure to build or have to turn it on every time
I just recently got in the paper modeling I've been doing the plastic model kit for the last 15 years and figured paper models would be something relaxing unless labor intensive but I guess with any type of model building people take it to the extreme or to highly detailed levels like you did amazing job

Few dollars more, make silicone mold for the wheels, and gypsum mold for tires. Model's tires will appear to carry weight, with low durometer silicone.
