I am a newly qualified teacher and am thinking about introducing meditation to children so that they learn how to regulate themselves from a young age. I wish someone had taught that to me when I was younger. Also I found out that a headspace subscription is free for teachers so if there are others, please introduce them to your class!
I loved the freedom this meditation provided, giving the mind permission to go where it wanted rather than constantly trying to reign it in. It took a lot of the performance pressure off of the practice. Will definitely be recommending this to others!
I tried breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth for the first time today and it felt amazing. Definitely a game changer. Thanks for this
I'm rather new to Headspace but I love Andy's soothing voice. Actually, I am a stroke survivor which I had during Lockdown in June 2020. My son introduced me Headspace and I have been doing it for about a year. I do it twice everyday and it has helped me a lot. However, for the past six days or so I have been experiencing anxiety attacks with all sorts of negative thoughts. So, I turn to Headspace for help.
I love headspace it’s been helping so much, more people need to do this. I never thought it would help but I have it a try and it did. Wether it’s placebo or something else, I feel more relaxed and I sleep better since I do it before I go to bed
I can't get enough of this. I recently enjoyed a similar book, and I couldn't get enough of it. "Reclaiming Connection: The Journey of a Digital Detox" by Joshua Ember
SO grateful for this meditation 🙏and for the soothing, calming voice of Andy.😍 7 days in a row today and started feeling the benefits at about day 3. Aiming to make it a daily practice from here on in - finally. ✨
Game changer! Thank you so much for making this headspace guide to meditation. I have been more aware, my mind wondering. Than, bringing myself back to focus on whatever I am doing at that moment.
This has been one of the most important and helpful activities for my mind during stressful times. Thank you for creating such a treasure trove. I hope the creators know just how much impact is being made with their creation
Very definitely needed this cause for some reason I tend to over think dwelling on just about everything . This meditation has calmed me down tremendously. How often do you recommend a person doing this ?
I can relate to that. Personally, I try to use the apps, as often as necessary, up to a few times per day. Especially those that are only 1 min or so, which is nothing out of a 24hr day
I suffer mental illness and epilepsy and been in hospital for about 4 month before covid broke intensive care for 3 month surgery life or death times anyone with mental illness you are not on your own 🙏
Is there a longer video that actually discusses ´reframing´ things to gain a different perspective? It´s great to do the meditations as they´re very helpful, but I´d love to hear some real examples of reframing a stressful situation in addition to the meditation practices.
✌️✌️💕💕🙏I have been living in rented flats for the last 17+ years, and I am working hard to get one good home for my family. Please pray for me that I become equipped to build one home for my family as soon as possible. ✌️✌️💕💕🙏🙏✌️✌️💕💕🙏
Hi Headspace Team! Do you have a YT video/playlist that’s like pomodoro style? I’m having a hard time focusing and I enjoy playing a video instead of just audio.
Hi Maria! Try one of our Sunday Scaries meditations for relaxing animations accompanying the meditation (th-cam.com/video/oKue-DC5T98/w-d-xo.html). sometimes when i meditate my anxiety gets really bad and i just start panicking, i think i have trouble breathing, my chest start to feel tight, its like i forget how to breathe naturally, i dont know what to do
@@sling2719 Keep going. First few times that's normal, once you get comfortable in that initial anxiety it starts to dissipate. It's a good sign because it means all your anxiety is coming to the foreground instead of being stuck in your body and mind.
To the person reading this, never lose hope there's always something to be grateful for.....💫💫
No joke at first I thought you meant the guy reading the script for this meditation because he does sound a tad melancholic or something 😅

Using Headspace is one of the best things I’ve done for my mental health.
Too bad the app is too bloody expensive to afford to use
@@LittleBigKiwi1 I follow Headspace on TH-cam, on my laptop.

@xtenshiAi, this is a great idea! This will help them control their emotions better and give them a tool away from the class.
