This is nice and so much better value than the obscenely priced multi storey narrow dark billionaire pads in london with zero warmth and zero outdoor space. The garden office and garden are lovely too.

Am I the only person that hates these hard, light, tiles on floors downstairs? So cold looking and for a family home..... anything dropped must surely break, and if a child falls.... not for me. I know carpet isn't for everyone, but even wood is much warmer looking.

Some clever design ideas particularly in the kitchen and the use of the pocket doors. However, I don’t think the long form bricks work with the Derbyshire stone though. The inside is much nicer than the exterior frankly…

Nice property but one must have a very skinny car to get it in such a narrow garage! For me, at this level and price the garage isn't acceptable. At £2.3m level - it's a double garage as a must.

Another great tour :) The whole house feels like a showroom. Going from room to room is like going through Ikea. All the different styles, colours, textures are too busy for me. There's no harmony. I don't like black doors and surfaces as well so all in all, not to my taste but it's my personal opinion so everyone to their own taste!

Even for Wilmslow £2.3mm is step! I can see they cut some corners on certain finishings you find in a decent college apartment in the US! $1.1mm Max cash - $1.4 financed!
Love how the owners are happy with the result of their home. To me it already looks dated and very ‘’80’s”. The interior colour choices and decor just look,old fashioned and “cluttered”. Having said that it looks like a great home for kids with a patchwork of colours. I love the idea of the annex with the office. Great tour.

If you build a home for your family that will last a lifetime then all these quirks add personality, but 99% of buyers would have to completely redo the awful interiors and blue window frames outside that make it look like a 1990s office building.

For the love of all necks, this trend of placing TVs above fireplaces needs to stop. It looks horrible and it is not ergonomic. TVs are meant to be placed at eye level! How are you supposed to enjoy your £2.5 million home with a constant pain in the neck?!

Jas is stunningly beautiful which is a lot more than I can say for this house. It’s looks like someone has just tried too hard. It gives an overall impression of a high end head office block. Not for me I’m afraid.
The pair of you are very good at giving house tours. Very informative and professional. You obviously do your homework on both the property and fixtures and fittings before you go round. The presentation flows effortlessly.

Interesting property. However there are elements of bad taste. The Television should NOT be mounted over the fireplace. It's extremely bad form. The Christmas decorations are over the top. Has the owner not heard the phrase "Less is More" ?

The house's front and back exteriors are nice but the inside furniture style is horrible kitchen is okay, but could've been better, not with 2. Whatever Million though.

That garage stands out like a sore thumb, does fit with the rest of the front facade at all. Probably fixable but currently looks horrible
I get the fact that you take your clothes off upstairs and then use the washing machine, but you still have to carry it all downstairs for the washing line.
There is nothing like the smell of fresh outdoor dried laundry.

You still have to carry your dirty clothes downstairs to use the washing machine. Having it on the same floor as the bedroom/bathroom logically makes more sense
No pun intended, I would not give more for this house than 600.000, which is cost of building it + 200.000 for interior and small garden. There is no charm in several neighbours watching your every move …nope. Liked kitchen, chimneys, bookcases in office. Disliked most of bathrooms, most room are quite small.
Overpriced in my opinion. £2.3M demands a large double, if not triple, garage. If I had £2.3M plus to spend on a house. I would not be driving a single Vauxhall Corsa. The single, skinny, garage is a joke. Otherwise a nice house.

Agree decent size garage is a must. If I was spending that sort of money, I would expect at least a double garage, to put my luxury car in.

This is not a luxury house. Interior is fine but this does not make a house luxury. Modernized old house with more glazing is not a luxury. Location is rather weak, garden is small with one tree. There is no nice view except to houses next to it. Btw who the f…k is still watching TV???
