A very importan point that most discussions about the inquisition don't touch on is that even devout Indian Catholics were targetted if they used Konkani (or other Indian languages) in their worship. The idea was to de-rascinate themv completely from their culture, not just religious zeal. They were forced to use Portuguese/Latin in matters of the church and many had to change their names to adopt Iberian/Christian names.

Hyderabad is still unsafe for Hindus even today. My Grandma's Sister and her husband had to flee Hyderabad and relocate to Bengaluru, because they were being threatened by AIMIM Goons to sell their Land, Because it was near a Mosque and Muslim majority area. They tried their best to refuse but one day my Grand,a's sister';s husband was beaten up while coming back from work (He worked in Salarjung Museum). So Police didn't help them, They were under Political control, They had no choice but to leave.
No Bloody media house will tell you stories like this, They will only show when some random Muslim is slapped in India.

History isn't always Black and White. While the Portugese commited attrocities, They were also allied with some Indian Kingdoms like the Vijayanagara, Whose Indian Kings had Portugese mechants who were friends who brought them Gifts like Guns, Cannons and Hand Telescopes in exchange for Diamonds, Spices and Silk.
There was no persecution by Portugese in these regions, Where they had alliances. The persecution was restricted mostly to Goa and Malabar Coast. So you see, History is more complex than we think. It wasn't "All Portugese were Evil", Some of them were, in some of the regions. This History of Goan Inquisitions isn't taught in India to our Kids, Sadly. Our History books are extremely censored of all Conflicts / Massacres / Injustices, Because our Leftists always hide the truth for some reason.

Just think, if someone says only my views are "true" and other's views are "false" and hence they(others) should be damned for their "false" views, isn't this inherently a supermascist stance? and we very well know that from supermacism only comes hatred or dislike towards others.

Actually, the main problem in Abrahamic religion is the concept of "one god". Many think it's a good concept. People belive that all Abrahamic religions worship the same one god. But in reality, all 3 main Abrahamic religion's 'god' is very different to each other. So all 3 religions belives that only their version of 'god' is the true god and the other religion's god is false and they are worshipping the god in the false way. And that belief resulted in the conflicts.
Meanwhile Indian religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism etc didn't had such a strict view on God. The number one important thing in Abrahamic religions is "god". But in Indian religions, life, Dharma (cosmic law underlying right behaviour and social order) is more important than "god". Hindusim taught people to worship god in whatever way you like. That's why Hindusim have thousands of gods and thousands of ways to worship god depending on region. The main thing in Hindusim is just is Dharma (right behaviour and social order). Meanwhile for Abrahamic religions is "god" is the main thing.
This is why when Abrahamic religions from the west arrived in India, Hindus didn't think of it as "wrong". Hindus just felt it like it's their way of worshipping the god. And Hindus didn't felt the urge to convert them, because Hindus never thought it as wrong. But the Abrahamic religions saw Hidnusim as wrong religion. They see Hindus as "pagans" who worship the devil. They think only their way of worshipping the god is the right way and all others are gong to hell. And that created conflicts.
