    Cort is a truly great company one of these instruments is in the hands of a young musician who truly needed this instrument. Cort has saved the music!

    It's great that the 5 string has 35" scale. I have a 5 in 34" and one in 35" and there is a world of a difference.

    I spent all of 2020 getting back into playing bass. Went cheap and got a 4 and 5 string glarry. Great for their prices. Even took one apart sanded and painted one. But after saving up for a good bass. I went with 4 string JH trans black. I’m over the moon please with cort. Luckily I have a certified cort dealer in town. Small brick and mortar shop. It was listed at 899$ marked down to 450 due to a blemish. Ain’t nothing wrong with a beauty mark.

    Cort should be getting good at making these instruments. They have been making guitars and basses for several big name manufacturers. If you have a Korean import the odds are good it was made in Cort's factory. With a couple of exceptions Cort IS the manufacturer in South Korea.

    Can I ask something?
    Should I choose? Cort Gb75 or Yamaha trbx505?
    I will play it for church services
    Thanks anw❤

      Great question. If Steve sees it he might respond. In the meantime, I would always recommend going to your local music store and actually holding and playing each instrument. The one that sounds (To your own ears)and feels the best would be my choice. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

      I did before I saw this video, they don't list weight as far as I can tell. I've asked others and the weights seem all over the place. I've heard everything from 8.5 pounds to 13 pounds.

      As we are human. mistakes can happen. Corts Spec page www.cortguitars.com/en/product/product_view.asp?qCate=&qSeries=0&qProdTag=&qPack=&qNew=&qKey=all&qWord=&idx=176 says it is a 34 inch scale.. Thanks for watching!

    Everyone that reviews a Cort bass under $1,000 says the same thing: “it’s phenomenal for a beginner or intermediate” but it’s comparable to higher end basses out there...
    SO... WHICH IS IT???
    🤔🤔🤔

    • @BassMusicianMagazine
      @BassMusicianMagazine  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is both. A lot of Pro players look for a quality, dependable, yet expendable instrument to tour with and not neccesarily the most expensive ones.. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

    • @athmaid
      @athmaid 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine has a single dead note. Well, not completely dead, but it stops sustaining way quicker than the rest. Then again I didn't adjust the truss rod after dropping to low A. Other than that it's great!

    FFS mic yourself up and balance that with the bass. The bass is too loud and you're inaudible.
