This came at the perfect time, I leave for MEPS on the 25th and ive been eyeing the MK rate but a lot of people say that its hard to fund jobs after you retire. Thanks for your videos. Very informative. Going to Enlist in the reserves next year. I would go active but I want to finish college so I can become an Officer. And having the benefits of the Coast Guard will help me in College. Not just the benefits but I am lacking in discipline and I think the Coast Guard will help me with that.
Thank you for your videos, they’re great to watch and very informative. I have 2 questions for you..... 1. What’s the deal with glasses/contacts during basic training? If someone wears contacts are they required to wear only glasses during those 8 weeks? And 2. How is the layout of A school schedule wise? Weekends off? During off days are we allowed to travel to visit family/friends, etc? Or is it like boot camp where we have to stay on base? Thank you!
I’m stationed on the west coast, would you recommend flying or driving to A school in Virginia? I wanna try and get restationed on the west coast but that’s a roll of the dice.
True Colors is a personality profiling system created by Don Lowry in 1978. I did this back in school I had gotten the orange color personality. You mentioned the colors test in the video.
I am joining the Coast Guard after College, but I dont want to be an officer. I want to join MSRT or become a Rescue Swimmer, does the Coast guard still relieve College debt if you're not becoming an officer?

If you have debt to a particular extent you may not be allowed to join until you lower your debt to a certain threshold.
