AAA it’s so crazy to see someone making my little frog pattern on youtube and just seeing how far it has reached through tumblr and people who share it around! Im really glad you liked the pattern and though I know the pattern itself is rough around the edges its incredible to see the way it impacts peoples day just because of these silly little creatures. Your frog turned out immaculate and honestly I’m going to incorporate some of these techniques into my own frogs from now on!
Tyson for this pattern it’s incredible 😭 Seeing as though you’re the owner of this pattern, may I ask for permission to make and sell the little lads using this pattern? If not that’s understandable, just happy to be able to make these little guys :,)
this was so helpful and cute oh my gosh I am also sewing a plush from this exact pattern on tumblr and I got so confused at the belly stage because my brain is small and my sewing skills are limited and u opened my..,,,, like sewing third eye thank u so much and SUBSCRIBED
I'm using this pattern rn and I had no clue as to how to properly sew the belly to the two other pieces so I'm very glad I found your tutorial! I enjoyed the video a lot, with the chill music and nice edition, and also your tattoos are so cool!!
So cute >\\\< I was so confused about the belly part but I think I understand now. Also, not sure if anyone else plans to paint on the eyes, but if you don’t wanna free hand it you can dip the end on something flat and circular (like the eraser end of a pencil) into your paint and just stamp it onto your frog~
I'm stumbling upon this video so late but I love that you went the extra mile to decorate him, very cute. I'm wondering if that's fleece or felt! I want to make a few as Christmas gifts. Also love to see someone else saving their scraps for stuffing. Very sustainable choice
It's kind of satisfying to see you sewing and stuffing the plush. (By the way, she turned out really kawaii and cute. Last time *I* tried to make a "cute" frog, my plush looked like an alien) that is. your frog turned out so perfect! 💚
omg i’m doing this exact same pattern! do you have any tips on the belly? i think it’s a little confusing but that may be just me making things harder haha
I don't think I can explain it well, I didn't really know what I was doing either lol, but I found a point on the belly and the top section that I knew should join, started sewing there and then just pulled the top section about so it lined up with the belly edge as I went round. it feels weird at first but the pattern works out if you stick with it😊
I just made me and my brother one of these frogs !! They're super cute 10/10, I do have this green minky fabric I want to use to make a huge one >:D, only problem is enlarging the pattern haha. Really cute video thank you for sharing :D
I used a galaxy pattern for the top and just plain black for the bottom, I also put little bead stuffing things in the belly so there's some weight to it.
I started sewing today and immediately made one of these, the fabric was just old t-shirts so the frog turned out kind of obese looking and squashy, but i think that makes him kind of cute to me :)
This is exactly the video I was looking for! I found that pattern but it kind of confused me so I wanted to see someone else do it. I like your Tank Girl tattoo btw!
Im planning to make a snake plushie and slowly work up to stuff like wolves. This video was so cute and the music reminds me of rainworld:) probably gonna make a frog once i get more fabric.
I don’t know how y’all did this when I printed out my pattern it was all wonky. The body pieces were bigger than the belly piece. Then when I tried to sew them together they wouldn’t match up at all. So sad. These little frog amphibians are so cute!
I just came across your channel because of this video and omg I love it!! You seem like such a fun and colourful person, I absolutely cannot wait to watch more of your videos 💕
I have no idea what would count as beginner sorry but I'd never made a plush like this before although I have hand sewn quite a bit. I'd just give it a go, it's ok if it turns out wonky!
felt is quite stiff so it probably makes it a bit easier but I bet you can make them with any fabric with a bit of practise plus I think even a wonky version of this pattern would be cute :)
if you don't already have a pair of scissors that are only used for cutting fabric then i'd recommend that so they stay sharp but to be honest i'm awful with just using whatever scissors are laying around and sometimes i just do lots of careful little trims on the one part of the blade that seems to work lol
I think the frog would be cute in any colour! or maybe you could decorate the felt you have with embroidered or painted patterns before making the frog?
Omg I saw a tutorial for these on Pinterest but FORGOT TO SAVE THE VIDEO! someone in the comments had that pattern so I downloaded it, but OMG! A TUTORIAL!
You could probably use a machine, but you're either going to have to stitch right at the edges of your seam margins or make the pattern very large to get it under the machine properly. The limbs are skinny.
not annoying at all! I guess it depends where you are but for me in the uk supermarkets often sell basic sewing kits for mending that come with needles. I live near a hobbycraft and they sell all sorts of needles and I get most of my embroidery threads there because it's close and I like to see the colours irl, there are a few indie haberdashery shops in the city too (it's always worth doing a search for something like "haberdashery" and your local area). I try to use repurposed fabric as much as I can, seeing duvet covers, blankets, clothes etc in charity shops as just pieces of fabric and I get a lot of stuff on ebay, I like to look for other people's offcuts and scraps. there are lot of people selling new fabric on ebay too. the felt I'm using at the minute is from a pile I have left over from years ago but when that runs out I'm thinking about replacing it with felt that's made from recycled plastics (I haven't used this site yet but something like this www.lovemeblue.co.uk/eco-fi-felt-sheets). hope that helps!

wah! thank you so much for bringing these little froggies to the world! mine makes me very happy! seriously thank you for sharing your pattern😊💚💖

I got stuck at the belly step as well lmfaoooo I think that's why we're all here
I got stuck on the eye step 😭
i was watching this while making one of my own and it was really fun to think of it like a group sewing project with everyone else in the comments :]
wah! this is so nice!
Hemlo! What type of fabric did you use?
froggie boy is ADORABLE. i am now seriously considering making a BIG one with the same pattern to be a cushion. this may be overly ambitious :D
oooo do it that would be so cute!!
@@TinyRatMagic *adds to already huge pile of "things I'm gonna make"*
you should post ur pattern for it
Also omg I had never thought of saving fabric/yarn scraps to use them as stuffing it's so brilliant!!
I always hated throwing even the tiny bits away, it's so nice to use them up😊

I was so confused too and it's a bit fiddly but if you trust the pattern the pieces will join up :) and good tip for painting the eyes!
I made one of these in felt! It's small, red with a pink belly, and little french knots all over the back in imitation of a strawberry.
that sounds so adorable!!
just a quick tip for sewing on the belly piece, to make it easier to sew it on would be to use pins to hold it in place
good tip! I always end up poking myself when I use pins though lol
@@TinyRatMagic your welcome, I'm always pricking myself with pins and needles but over time you're finger tips become less prone to getting pierced.

sorry i didn't reply quicker 😑 but i used felt. i think any fabric would work though, hope you ended up (or still could) making some 😊🐸
@TinyRatMagic Thanks I did make like 7 little frogs! Just using generic sample fabric worked good and I sized the pattern down
I SAS THIS ON PINTREST AND HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING SO MUCH WITH THE ARM PITS AND SCHNOZ- this was so darn helpful tysm you’re a hella rad person 😭
ah! thank you! I'm glad to be helpful with my frog attempt 😊
I just started sewing and I’m gonna try this
good luck! i'm sure you'll end up with a great froggy friend :)

Hoping to make a little foggy guy today I'm excited ☺️
I tried making one of these but I can’t seem to see it right, and I don’t have felt so I used fabric instead
felt is quite stiff so it probably makes it a bit easier but I bet you can make them with any fabric with a bit of practise plus I think even a wonky version of this pattern would be cute :)

you should make the frog a sibling ❤😊 an idea lol, would love to see you make another frog
i love your vibe sm
thank you so much!😊
what stitch are you using? i love this frog!
maybe back stitch? I'm not sure I've never learnt stitches properly I just sort of muddle through lol
How did u cut them out so nicely?My scissors keep giving up when I cut felt ;-;
if you don't already have a pair of scissors that are only used for cutting fabric then i'd recommend that so they stay sharp but to be honest i'm awful with just using whatever scissors are laying around and sometimes i just do lots of careful little trims on the one part of the blade that seems to work lol
I wanna try this but I only have a TON of Charcoal, Denim and white coloured felt-
I think the frog would be cute in any colour! or maybe you could decorate the felt you have with embroidered or painted patterns before making the frog?
@@TinyRatMagic oooo maybe! I could make a little white from and then just add some accessories to it with scrap felt and fabrics
@@TinyRatMagic WAIT- I just realised
If I take some fluffy socks (new fresh never used ones obviously) I could make a fluffy frog!
oooo fluffy frog would be so cute! (I would totally make things with used socks, just cut out any sections that seem too worn😅)
I saw the pattern on Pinterest so I decided to make a frog and because I had no idea what I was doing my frog looks no where near as good as yours
Omg I saw a tutorial for these on Pinterest but FORGOT TO SAVE THE VIDEO! someone in the comments had that pattern so I downloaded it, but OMG! A TUTORIAL!
I wouldn't call my video a tutorial, just a vlog! I don't know what I'm doing 😂
would it be possible to use a machine to sew it?
i honestly don't know, I'm awful with sewing machines. sorry i can't help!
I'm very late to this comment, but you probably can! Just use straight stich and you should be good! :)
You could probably use a machine, but you're either going to have to stitch right at the edges of your seam margins or make the pattern very large to get it under the machine properly. The limbs are skinny.

Love this! So cute...also free bread?!
the free bread is the true star honestly
@@TinyRatMagic lol!
I might have just missed it, but what type of stitch did she use for this plush? Was a it a back stitch?
I think it's back stitch, I've never properly learned and just kind of wing it 😂
Might make a giant pillow one

giant pillow frog will be glorious
