I'm making this as a gift for my older sister. her 15th birthday is the 31st and I'm proud of her for making it through the year cause she had to move states. shout out to my Rae who doesn't even know I'm making this lol.
oh my gosh i started on your channel with the ditto tutorial and i made that and now i'm here and i want to pick up sewing as a regular hobby, your designs are all so cute and your tutorials are so simple and easy to follow! you definitely deserve more recognition!!
That’s soooo cute! I don’t have puffy fabric paint but I think a small white bead would work, as long as it’s not for a kid who might put it in their mouth.
Hey, I know this video is two years old but I had to say somthing I’ve always wanted to make plushies, in fact as a kid I spent a lot of time trying despite not having tutorials or patterns available. They didn’t really work out So this year, all this time later I decided to finally do the damn thing and Valentine’s Day was the excuse of sorts. I decided that since I’m in school and have to much anxiety to drive and thud can’t get a job to buy gifts I would make one. We have a ton of old fabrics my mom bought years before ever teaching me to sew for a now forgotten project and I scrounged up four buttons, lace , cream fabric (it’s a weird cotton -almost felt thing, ended up working really nicley) and pink fabric. In three days with this pattern I made two steggies with inverse color pallets, lace bows wrapped around their heads and button eyes. They are a little wonky and the side looks like a giant scar haha but I’m so happy with them! I’ll be able to give one to her tomarrow and I’m so exited. They are sooo cute and for being my first two plushies ever they look amazing. I can’t thank you enough for having this available for free like this and being the right amount of instructive and entertaining to let me be able to listen and watch over and over until I got it. Thank you so much for this- it’s amazing ❤️🦖🦕
c a m i v - You are SO right. I'm just 11 so I'm not allowed for Sewing Machines so I HAVE to sew by hand. Took me 3 hours to complete the whole thing!
Thank you for sharing the design! I was having trouble finding a good toy for my little cousin and decided making one would be easier. Side note, ladder stitching is so annoying when the thread breaks, it’s happened to me way too many times
Omg, this is so cute!!! I hope mind will turn out well with felt, cuz I can’t go out to buy fabric due to the movement control order in my country. Really looking forward to more plushie videos ❤️
I made this a a few months ago and it was my second time ever sewing something proper. I did scale it up by a notch though, so it'd be easier for little unexperienced me😄. I made it for my little cousin (6-ish) in the US (I'm German, but my aunt moved there with the fam) and he absolutely loves it! My aunt told me, he would take it with him everywhere when he first got it, which is just such a huge compliment! I mean, I love it too! It's so cute I didn't even wanna give it away at first xD. I don't know my cousin very well due to the distance and not being close with their fam anyways, but my aunt told me he loves dinosaurs and pink, and this is how I found this video. So now he has a pink dino with yellow spikies and belly🥰
@@dehnersisterdesigns It really is. I'm definitely planning on doing one for myself and friends! Also wanted to try to change smth up with the pattern to turn it into a landshark, so instead of the tail and spikes it has fins. My first pattern draft for that looks pretty solid I think :3
Thank you so much for this video! I am thinking of making a Godzilla themed care-package for my boyfriend since he's studying far from where I am studying and I been looking to buy a plushie for him but no luck. I figured, why not make one!? And this little dino gave me the greatest idea of making a cute godzilla plush! Hope it works out well!

I love dinosaurs, and would LOVE to see more dino plushie patterns! Can't wait to make this one (just made the brachiosaurus one!! My first one ever!)!! I'm so glad I found your channel! Where do you buy your minky?
I always use a lot of pins to hold the fabric in place and sew slowly. It also helps to put the needle down, lift the presser foot and turn the fabric slightly as you go around the small curves.
I want to make this but idk how to use a sewing machine so I'm going to attempt to handstitch it Wich will probably take forever. Never made a Plushie before but I want to try

This is so cute! Would it be alright if I were to make one and sell it to someone? I'm very new to sewing, and I'm trying to start a small business, and I adore this pattern! However, I wouldn't want to do so without making sure it's alright with you, or I would be willing to commission you for another pattern!
Your steggie is really cute. however I wish the pattern was a little more accurate :/ as a beginner in plushies I find it rather difficult to fit the wonky belly, which isn't even symmetrical in itself, to the body.
Just tried fixing it and reseeding the whole thing and it looks worse, it looks like a fish with no fins and I'm crying 😭 I just wasted so much time, material and thread that I'm never getting back 😔😔 can someone tell me what I did wrong
