Great video! Very well explained and love the graphics!! This is a game changer for a player who scores 30 breaks and can score bigger breaks now!! Simply love it!! Thanks Steve for posting it.
Thanks for more great content Steve! Like a lot of players, I dread the cannon, but this is a good reminder to slow down, think it through, and see how a cannon can actually be helpful :)
Massively underrated skills..... WHAT would be great Steve, would be potting blacks of the spots from various positions, what/where/how to strike the cue ball, - even though I can knock 40+s in, its this area thats lets me down..
As per usual - super video, nice one. I do this these days, but it does take a precise understanding of the angle that the white is coming off at, including the weight and bounce off other balls and cushions. So I do a lot of cannon practice for controlling the white these days, and it's great for getting problem balls off cushions too.
The yellow pot towards the end that canons the green is my favourite :-) just so simple and effective. On the early red of this video, hitting the ball lower thinly holds the white and I think this is why pro players out there use this technique as part of controlling the cue ball.
Hi Steve, when you are doing these canons, is there a trick to knowing how much top, middle, bottom, just above/below center is needed in order to get the white to travel on the correct line into the ball you are wanting to canon after hitting the object ball? I tend to miss a lot of canons because of not gauging it right. Thanks for any help (maybe another video opportunity)
I love the cue ball and ball line direction graphics. Very helpful perspective.
Great video. I really like the combined cue ball and power graphics. Your videos have improved my game. Thank you Steve!
a bit advanced topic though, good stuff
What a fantastic detailing.luv much
Just fantastic. Totally class.
Very well shot video, looked great cinematically you can very easily see the examples as you’re explaining, looks professional 😉🙏🏻
The finer points of snooker! Excellent Steve- thanks very much.
Great video, I use cannons all the time, find it easier to maintain position, keep them coming
From my point of view, one of the most helpful tips to improve my breakbuilding. 👍

Great video again Steve. Small cannons can be very decisive. It's when you see the professional players do it alot while playing.

👏
what is your break pal?
hi can you tell me about 2 3 4 percktes
Please make a video on Ronnie’s v routine. With headcam and explain how to place. Thanks in advance
Hej Barton snooker , does the length of the cue with height of a player matters?

No real "trick". It's just feel. I can feel the amount of 'bite' I need from the cue ball to make the cannon.
@@BartonSnooker Cheers Steve, "Gotta get ma feeeeeeel orrrn." then 😂
I mean I CAN feel the amount of bite. With more experience, you feel exactly where to strike the cue ball.

Enjoying the videos but that thermostat on the wall is driving me mad 😂
I just hope that one ball goes somehow in and I am not snookered on the next ball
😁
Good stuff. Another example of why snooker players should have billiards knowledge.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
